Ann does an absolutely perfect job on my straight and not so easy to cut hair. I've been looking for a great hair stylist for the past year since relocating to the area. I tried a few high end places downtown and just wasn't impressed... Then Ann was highly recommended by a coworker's friend and wow I got lucky! She does the best job I've had in many many years and I assure you I'm very picky about my straight hair. The style I get is long enough on the top so I can style it up and back with a short blend on the back & sides. She takes her time to get it perfect every time. She doesn't rush a single step and I simply love it. She gives me that boost of confidence to rock speaking engagements and work meetings. Her prices are solid too. The quality hair style she delivers per dollar is simply the best in DFW. Thank goodness I found her! :) read more

Called to schedule an appointment from Groupon. Called about 20-25 times and lost count after that. NO ONE PICKING UP. And of course it says appointment required and you cannot just walk in. What a GREAT BUSINESS MODEL. Can't walk in and also can't make appointment. I m stuck in a loop of can't use my Groupon. WASTING MY TIME. read more

I want to tell everyone to go here! Humeyra was amazing! She gave me an updated haircut that Looked beautiful! She was so gracious on top of being confidently SKILLED! She made room for me in her schedule and put me at ease, explained all she was doing. She went over and above what I asked for and was reasonably priced! The salon itself is simple, yet stylish and elegant. It promises quality as does her gentle demeanor. Lucky me to have found her on my first try I'm Dallas. While she's situated in an easy-to-get-to, local area I'd drive across Dallas to have her do my hair again. read more

Tu and her team at Salon 4316 do an amazing job!!! I found her and this darling little salon after a terrible experience I had in Wylie. My hair color was in disarray and my cut wasn't growing out well ... but Tu worked her magic on me and I now absolutely LOVE my cut and color. As a redhead, it's hard to find someone who can handle grey hair without turning it pink, but Tu does amazing work. I would highly recommend her and this salon!! read more

Very clean salon with talented staff. If you want a relaxing experience, this is NOT the place to go. The music is loud - the last time I was there (and it's been a long time ago, because it's so loud that it jangles my nerves) Whitney Houston was blaring through the speakers and it was just too much. The stylists are fantastic, yet nonstop chatter and loud music were more than I could bear. Not for me, but it might be for you! read more

Went here for the first time yesterday looking for highlights, cut and hopefully a new hairdresser. Charlie did a fabulous job! My hair had not been done in quite some time, he matched the color perfectly. I showed him a picture of a hair cut and he worked his magic and I walked out of the salon feeling fabulous! Clean, friendly environment and I must add that it seems like all the other patrons were regulars which is a great sign! Thank you Charlie and Salon 4316 I will be back! read more

Ann has been cutting my hair for years. She's very friendly and professional. I've had many different styles throughout the years and she has been able to adapt to each one. From buzz cuts to long hair, I've been more than satisfied. It's difficult to find the right hair stylist, but once I found her I never looked back. Tips for getting hair cuts: Learn some terminology by googling how to get a hair cut. Communicate what you want. Be as specific as possible. Relax & breathe...have fun! If you don't like your haircut, remember hair grows back. If you keep going to different hair stylists' instead of sticking to one, you won't give someone the opportunity to learn about your hair. I highly recommend this place. Ask for Ann. read more

I asked for a last minute appointment on a Friday, and they were able to squeeze me in right at closing time! Homeira did an amazing job with my hair and was so sweet. Definitely recommending this salon to all my friends. read more

I have been going to Salon 4316 for years. When you first enter, you are greeting and always offered a beverage. Great customer service from the start. I have never been disappointed with my cut or color. It is always just right. Thu does a great job ensuring you are 100% satisfied before walking out the door. Thu is always up to date with the new styles and color. I have come in and let Thu freely do my hair as she feels and she has always impressed me! read more

My sister and I needed a hair cut, and we found them on groupon for an amazing deal of "normal price" at $110, with the groupon deal at $31. We found out after reading fine print we would pay a bit more for having long hair, okay. Odd, but okay. Our hair being at mid back made it $15/each. So now the deal is $46/each. Not horrible at all for a shampoo, "deep conditioning", dry and style. Not sure why you wouldn't just make it that price instead. A little fight back and forth with my sister, because my sister couldn't word how she wanted her hair cut but Thu wanted to get it done, but my sister did end up loving her hair cut. Just a little frustrated at the end thinking she wasn't really being heard/felt rushed. I enjoyed the shampoo and "deep conditioning", but I don't think my hair cut is any different than getting one from Floyd's 99, where I normally go. Little crocked and very blunt cuts, as well as shorter than I wanted to go. Someone previously had stated the only thing high end is their prices, and I would have to agree. Groupons help bring people in, but you have to want them to be in. read more

Ann is an amazing colorist and stylist! I got a haircut and blonde balayage from her and i'm in love with it!! She was really helpful in recommending what length and style to cut my hair in order to be suitable for my balayage. My hair was long, naturally black and SUPER thick, so she cut my hair and used Olaplex products to bleach it, and then toned it to my desired color. For me, the entire process took about 7 hours and we even went past closing hours, but despite all of that I really appreciate Ann for being patient and detailed oriented, even though it was thick and long. She was dedicated to finishing my hair properly without rushing the process. I would definitely recommend her to those who are interested in colored hair and balayage styles! Money hungry! Merchant did not honor their Groupon offer. They wanted to charge extra for a haircut when my hair is shoulder length, they are claiming it's longer. Clearly visible to the eye, not even a questionable discussion. Poor business etiquette. Y'all should be aware! I should've questioned why they were able to get me in so quick!!! Bad experience, but perhaps it's for my own good. Looking for a great salon that cares about the customer, not the last penny! read more

I am completely floored with the hairstyling I received here. I can't even style my own hair, and could have done a better job with the styling in the hour and fifteen minutes I spent here. My last haircut at Premier Atelier was less than an hour, and included shampoo, cut, blowdry and styling! Everyone in the salon is very friendly, sweet, and personable. That's about all the nice I can say here. What they have in niceness they need to match in talent. They are very close to home, and since my stylist is on vacation I thought it would be convenient to stop in for hair styling/blowout, just basic curls done in my long hair, for engagement portraits. I mean, every stylist can do a blow out, right? When I left my hair was a burnt mess. They must have put a half can of mousse in my hair, and I was forced to try to salvage the style at home in the fifteen minutes I had to retouch my makeup and change - there were pieces of hair that weren't curled at all. The curls fell out less than twenty minutes after leaving the salon. What a waste of time and money. They caused so much stress through their time mismanagement and general incompetence that I'm pretty sure I wasted my photographer's portrait fee as well. Oh well. Maybe no one will see my hair in the portraits. read more

Left in tears after today. I Am absolutely floored by the lack of experience and poor customer service. I could have done better myself. I am now paying someone more money to correct and re highlight what they've done. Walked out with out paying to prove you aren't going to badger me for their poor work. If you stand by your work and "guarantee" your services then rule one of business the customer is always right. And just to prove I'm not the idiot customer, I got two professional opinions to back me up that both have said not only is my hair damaged now, the ends are ashy and now needs an additional treatment. And even better the owner is out of town so even if wanted this fixed by them I have to wait a week for her return where she will determine what needs to be done and if I should be reimbursed. No thank you. read more

Went there with pictures of what a wanted. She decided to give me a different cut. I had that look before, hence the pictures of what I wanted. She has great technique though. Don't like that she cuts, then your rolled to someone else for blow dry, then rolled Back to her to finish cut. I would rather be serviced by just 1 person, not 2. Increases the tip. But her staff is very friendly, professional, and sweet. She is very meticulous, and has a great eye for style. LOVE my haircut, and will be back. read more

Carissa is does a wonderful job on my color. My hair is "blond", long and very thick. She makes the highlights look amazing.

thu is honestly the most sweetest person ever! she can literally face the most challenging things and end up making it work. my hair was previously box dyed black and she managed to make me into a nice blonde. shes a determined hard worker and honestly like a second mom. the environment there is also very welcoming and kind. i definitely recommend this place! read more

Eyelash Perm & Tint. Fast, Professional, Enthusiastic. Instant, Amazing results. Charlie is an absolute pro! He listened to what I wanted and my haircut is fantastic! This past Saturday was my first visit to Salon 4316 and I've been searching for years for someone to tackle my very thick, heavy hair. I followed my favorite stylist, Ann Nguyen to Salon 4316. I've been a client for several years and have always received the highest quality hair care. I really appreciate Ann's talent, professionalism, and desire to create a hair style that is suitable for my age and difficult hair. Carissa kept telling me (no less than 20 times) that my hair was very "thin". Then I was told my hair is weird but she will try to make it "normal". Although I requested long layers my hair ended up being one short layer in the front (cut straight across not on an angle) and then one long layer. My hair was better off before I got the cut--now it is just awful. My hair cannot grow out fast enough. It seemed like she never cut anyone's hair EVER before. I should of known something was wrong when she looked at my hair with a perplexed looked and she said she needed to figure out what to do. Completely disappointed. Save your money and your hair--go somewhere else! read more

I got my first haircut from them with a guy named Kevin. He was AWESOME. He spent time to teach me how to style my hair. I have been going back ever since. Bad cuts, bad color.......hair was fried from highlights being overprocessed! It was a girls worst hair dream come true!!! It will take months to repair the damage. I will say that the owner of the salon did do the right thing and refunded my money and gave me for free VERY hydrating shampoo and conditioner to try to "mend" the damage. My hair will hate me and Salon 4316 for a very long time. I also understand that the salon is named after a verse in the bible that says, " God so loved the world that he sent his only son...." I know the feeling...although I did not offer my son to the world I did sacrafice my hair! However....I know, I know it's just hair! I will get over it! read more

I love their service..the hairdresser went to Tony & Guy academy. She is totally worth paying $25 for a hair cut.

The only reason I'm giving this place one star is because they don't let me give zero stars. They Would not accept a groupon as it states first time customer only which my daughter was not but I was. They would accept mine. This salon is right in my neighbourhood and we try to support the local businesses right along Renner Rd. Instead of offering any discount or anything at all to her they were abrupt to the point of rude and did not even make an attempt. In choosing that method they have lost a potential lifetime customer in both of us and I will actively NOT recommend this business to everyone I know. Instead I will actively tell everyone NOT to go there. read more

I paid $35 in Groupon to get the conditioning and hair cut package. I have no complaints about how the staff welcomed me or interacted with me the whole time I was there. Since I have long hair, I was charged $20 more which was something I expected - so no surprises there. However, I am not very satisfied with the haircut. What I ended up getting was more a trim than a haircut. I have edited my rating as the owner took time to call me and inquire if I was satisfied. That initiative deserved a better rating. I have found another salon I like near Collin creek mall. I might give Salon 4316 another try in a few months. read more
