I called Annie, the owner, to try to get an appointment for her at the last minute. They squeeze her in for an afternoon appointment and Roy transformed her hair into a beautiful color and cut. She was so happy with it and she looked really great! I really appreciate them getting in at the last minute since they were booked straight through till Sunday. I told her I didn't like it but she could just stop. I paid for it and even gave her a tip. But please know I'll never come back. Just be honest and pass up on that one haircut. And when I wanted a pixie cut, he was able to do it flawlessly. Every. Time. I always got asked who cut my hair because it was so cute, and I always sent people his way. Here I am doing it again. I travel 40 minutes one way, just to have him cut my hair, and I'll continue to do so as long as he's a hairdresser. When I chose to let my hair grow from a pixie cut, he did a beautiful job to help me grow it out gracefully and cute at every stage (a nearly impossible feat). He has his own space at Mattison Avenue salons in Richardson, so it's a bit more of an intimate space, but I love it and all the beautiful plants he takes care of by a large glass window with lots of natural light. I love going to get my haircut there. I truly feel like I can relax and be at peace while I get pampered. I highly recommend him!

Common trait in these overpriced hair salons, your barber will most likely try to start a conversation with you, which is probably the reason for the extra price you are paying for. My barber didn't really seem to care so much about what I was saying and was seemingly acting out of protocol. Honestly, I would've rather have a 30 min of silence and a reduced price then that blatant example of a forced conversation. As for the haircut itself. She messed up.
