And of course, we can't forget our schooling in tequila and Mezcal from Agus. He was very informative of what he was serving and we tried a few different shots. The mussel sauce was unique compared to a typical tomato base, which we really appreciated. For my entrée, though, I was disappointed to see that the tuna salad I always order had completely changed. It used to be an arugula salad with Asian flavors and the tuna served on top. Now it It's a Niçoise salad, and the tuna is awkwardly placed on the side. Nothing about the tuna tasted like it did before. I'm usually a sucker for ahi tuna, but this was honestly one of the most disappointing ahi dishes I've ever had. It felt totally incohesive with the salad next to it. I really wish they didn't change the menu so frequently. Once I finally find an entrée I genuinely look forward to, it disappears. I really enjoyed Mary Y Sol, its a subtle sweet rum, cocktail, sweetened with pineapple and coconut. It's a very different type of sweet. I really enjoyed this one. The New Brit was also great but the Bourbon base was too strong. As much as I like their vibe and their craft here, the service is lacking. I asked for water three times, and it never came. It also wasn't particularly busy. This is a huge turn off, especially for a brand new place. This is a beautiful space, that's bringing new attention to Downtown New Britain. I wish the bartender was a bit more attentive, a little smile never killed anyone. This a new place worth checking out, but their service could use a little attention.

It was an amazing choice! The meats that we decided on were carnitas, carne asada, and brisket. All of them had so much flavor and were perfectly cooked, tender and delicious. The plantains had just the right amount of seasoning and done to perfection. It came with a variety of sauces that had so much flavor! Everything I ate was amazing. We had so much food left over.
