I placed an online order for a 32oz developer was given an 8oz I was at work so someone else had to pick it up for me it's so irritating i was planning on doing my hair at night after work since I have somewhere to be early the next day and now I have to wait another day cause they don't know how to do their job and simply just read. I purchased a purple conditioner online that made my hair so tangled. I tried to return the items within the 30 days for a refund back on my debit card. I went to the store and the lady couldn't figure out how to return my items without a physical receipt. I contacted customer service and they told me to print a packing slip and go back to the store to return the items. I go back to the store and the associate looks at me like I'm stupid when I hand her the packing slip. She then tells me she doesn't know what to do with it. I asked if there was anyone else that can help and was told the manager is on the phone with a district manage. She told me to come back another time. This was the second time I tried to return the same items! I am not going back again to attempt a return! I don't usually shop at Sally's and I definitely won't be going back after the two bad experience. read more

Well I've been shopping here for a LONG time so I'm super disappointed and kinda pissed off honestly . I got the same cream lightner I always do and a packet of regular bleach to lighten my hair and my friends hair. Well neither of those did the job they normally do, both of us had copper colored roots . Now before you start commenting , I use the right developer and I left it on for the right amount of time. I know what I'm doing I promise. I went back and got the same toner I always do *Wella T10 or T18 .I got T10 this time and guess what.....it did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. I don't know if they've switched up their formulas or they literally just stopped putting actual product into their bottles but come on. AND IF THAT WASN'T ENOUGH FUN... I got a pair of gloves, the Sallys brand , and what used to be these nice thick pink gloves are now these thin, cheap blue garbage gloves that tear far too easy . WHAT FRIGGIN HAPPEN TO THEM!!! I don't mind wearing the Covid masks, but when I start seeing x's and arrows on the floor to direct me, I have a problem. First of all, I don't look at the floors... I walked into store (mask on) and someone somewhere says hello. I walk down an aisle the "wrong" way b/c I didn't see the signs on the floor. Salesperson suddenly shows up in front of me. I realize I'm going the "wrong" way. It's ok I'm brusquely assured b/c no one else is in the aisle. What am I looking for? I told her the product and follow her as she gets it for me. I take it from her (no gloves, I doubt sanitized hands, like any normal day). I walk up another aisle the "wrong" way. Ooops. It's okay, she says...Blah blah blah. At the checkout she says something in muffled voice (b/c of mask...and I'm a bit hard of hearing) they do not use plastic bags anymore but I can BUY a paper bag for 15 cents! No thanks I'll just carry it. I felt so rushed and pushed and stalked and accosted. I feel so bad that so many people live in fear because of Covid. IF the masks work (and I'm certain they don't) why are people afraid? read more

Awful customer service. Greeted with "Just so you know, we close in 5 mins" .. ? Okay. Second, snappy tone of voice during all communication. I ended my visit by telling the blue haired employee, "thank you." He didn't respond and started walkin away from the counter. (I was maybe in the store for 2 mins total.) Rude employees. I bought something and was told if I didn't love it I could return it. When I went to return it they wouldn't refund me, but gave me a few dollars in store credit. The employees were cold and not understanding of my situation. I'll take my business elsewhere! read more

I went in here looking for everything I'd need to do my own acrylics and multiple staff members were attentive and very helpful in making sure I found everything I needed. The mechanical drill was defective and there were no more in stock, they were very helpful in helping me find another location with the same drill to exchange. read more

Poor customer service. Nobody asked if I needed help, which I needed. I had called twenty minutes before to ask about a product because the website didn't have the information I was looking to find. I was told that I would have to come in because they had such a large selection of this certain product that she would not be able to help me over the phone. When I arrived, there were only two very different versions of the same product (one $20 and another $130) which would have been evident if someone could have stepped six feet away from behind the register and looked on my behalf. I would normally say she was extremely busy or short staffed, however there were three employees in the store and one customer. Seeing the two previous post which both address their poor customer service makes me wish I had just ordered off of Amazon and waited the day for them to ship it to me. read more

After several hairline fractures due to a work injury, I thought I would like a new look, but did not want to go all out to a salon. I was really intimidated going into Sally's because I was sure that the staff was very busy for my petty concerns. Betty was at the front register, and greeted my husband and I. She was ringing up two people, so I felt sad that she is expected to be polite when she was involved with two customers. Then, Betty took me through a three stage process of dying my hair, bleaching and toning after I showed her a photo. Betty was so professional and confident and I just can not say enough about her. Betty even picked pieces of my hair up to show me details, and even had another customer model her hair. I felt like I just found a best friend for life. My hair looks like I spent a lot of money on it. My hair had gray roots and a red color because I was wondering if I could just go gray, but Betty gave me a beautiful new look, sooo please look for Betty. Hunt her down. She is PRICELESS! Horrible customer service. He wasn't wearing a name tag, but was pretty distinctive with his blue hair and nose rings. As we took our first step into the store he informed us that they close in 5 minutes. We needed one last minute item and somehow felt rushed. As we go to check out he asked for number associated to rewards account and was very rude in asking us to slow down and wt the end of the transaction he just walked away instead of a thank you, have a good day or any remotely nice gesture. I just wanna say that out of all of the Sally's I have been too this is the best by far. I went to a salon and the girl destroyed my hair. It was so damaged and was such a bad color. I went in there and Lynn helped me get all of the products to fix my hair. She was so kind and professional, she was relatable and knowledgeable. She was a life saver. This is for sure my go to Sally's. I will def be back for anything I need for my hair. I wish all customer service was like this. I wish I could give this more then 5 stars! Just waited 20 mins outside in the heat so the cashier could tell her life story to everyone that was at the register. When I went to checkout the cashier had purposely poked all her nasty nails through her gloves and you could tell she probably had been wearing them all day. When I asked her what was the purpose of even wearing gloves (cause it was OBVIOUSLY unsanitary and gross) she barely had anything to say for herself "I don't know..".
