Meh. Typical stuff here. A little overpriced I think ? I remember when my sister and I came here looking for hair dye- the girl working was not the most helpful :/ but I guess if u can't find what u need elsewhere it won't hurt to check this place out ! read more

Went here a few days ago for some nail supplies to do at home! Great service!! I needed help to look for the pure acetone and extra things along with it, prices were reasonable. In the store you can always ask for help with type of polishes all the way to hair it makes a difference for sure with help you leave that store with satisfaction knowing you got the right things! read more

Best Sally's ever. Hopefully this gets to the CEO of Sally's. Rosa is amazing! Definatly an asset to this company. All employees should be trained by her. Jacqueline and Remie also helped me. These three girls I found to be outstanding in sales. I dang near bought the whole store. Professional, informative, helpful, polite and up lifting. I think they deserve a raise, bonus or at the very least recognized for making this the best Sally's everrrrrr. Thank you! read more

Love this place! Customer service is on point and friendly. I forgot what I was looking for and they helped me find the product quick and easy! Thanks! read more

This review is how to save money at Sally's. First of all if your military you can be apart of Sally's membership for free. With this you will pay the members price which will save you money along the road if you are a faithful Sally's fan. Or you can pay $5.00 for the membership. Even if your aren't a faithful Sally buyer, in your Next purchase you save $5.00 at least that is what was advertised the past several years with this membership. Next, subscribe to their emails or text messages. They will text or email you money saving coupons like save 20% on your next purchase , save 40% on one item or save $3.50 when you spend $10.00 and shop on those days. Shears or blades can get very expensive. They also have specials like buy 1 get 50% off nail polish. Anyway, those are my money saving tips. I've always been greeted and asked if I needed and was able to get help if I needed it at this location. Enjoy! read more

So I decided to dye my hair dark!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have been going to hair salon in Berkeley for the past couple years but this economy is killing me so taking matters into my own hands. I walk in the store(it's been years since I have dyed my own hair) there was a very friendly lady there, there are tons and tons of colors to choose from. I also LOVE their nail polish they have true to color nail polish! read more

Always excellent service. As a hairstylist its nice to go into a beauty salon where there is knowledge not just sales staff

I wanted to dye my hair black and had no idea what to get, one of the employees were very helpful and patient while explaining the different options as well as their personal suggestions. They even helped me choose options that I could get discounts with, which was a real money saver. My hair did turn out the way I wanted thanks to the products they recommended! read more

Stopped in again today because I forgot to pick up some intensifier... Denice! The assistant store manager's name who is so helpful and friendly is Denice! Not sure if I'm spelling her name correctly. :) read more

The Sally Beauty's by me has nothing on this location. Excellent, speedy and attentive customer service. I love that everyone on the staff is knowledgeable of their products and how those products work for every individual customer and their needs. I love that I'm greeted right when I walked in and the environment is just so peaceful and always clean. read more

Super rude employees and poor customer service. I ran in to grab a couple items and there's no one at the registers so i ask the girl (African American girl) which side is open. She replies "I'm not open at all" and then calls for someone to get the register. The other girl walks up (causation with facial piercings) and without greeting me rings me up and takes my payment (all non-verbal interactions). I grab my items and leave. The worse is going into an establishment and giving them your business and they act as though you are inconveniencing them! read more

I've been making a stop in here two or three times a year for beauty odds and ends over the last 10 years . My primary need for coming here has been GiGi brand waxing supplies and their variety there has always been well beyond sufficient. I most recently came in to get flexi-rods for my daughter and I to use for heatless curling. Their variety there was great as well, but their prices were a bit higher than I was expecting. Even so, I walked away paying around $15 for 2 sets of flexi-rods in different sizes. Based on my years of coming here, the pricing at this store seems to be a little high on some items. I don't think I've ever came in here and left feeling like I got a great deal on something (which sucks because, well...who doesn't love a great deal?) The customer service at this place is so-so at best. I've only been greeted once or twice after walking in (and that was when an old classmate was working here). On our flexi-rod seeking visit to the store, the woman working seemed like she was still busy getting the store set up for opening and didn't ask if I needed help finding anything. The store is fairly small, but I still had to look around to find what I needed. The general set up of the store has remained largely unchanged over the years though, so I've never had trouble finding my waxing supplies. To put it all together, I'll continue coming here for my waxing needs and the occasional bottle of crazy hair dye, foil strips and more. If you have specialized beauty needs and you're in the area, this is the place to go. read more

Sallys I love you so! You give me makeup and hair! The service here is amazing. I went here to get extensions the other day, and the woman helping us wasn't trying to talk up the most expensive brand at all, in fact, she told us to get a cheaper one that had more hair in it and was of the same standard as the more expensive. She even helped us find the right glue. And she was super nice. read more

You gotta have patience when you come in here. I've read more than enough reviews about bad service in the past.(Not my experience, but I wish they were better stocked. It's always a gamble but I can always count on the Vallejo location). Back to this store... Maybe this why they have hired older women to work here now. They are sweet but ssssslllllllllllooooooooowwwwwwwwww!!!!!! read more

This is my go to spot for good hair products! This Sally's location is a little smaller than some of the other ones I've been too but they have my fav hair products & nail polishes here so I have no complaints. read more

Oh, Sally, my savior. This store has plenty of items for all my beauty needs. I especially love their selection of crazy hair & nail polish colors. They have this fantastic hair mascara. (Yes - hair mascara!) So, for a little shop, they are not disappointing. read more

EVERY TIME I go to Sally's ALL the workers have a nasty look on their face, as if they dont want people in the store and will only help you if you ask, no "welcome in" or anything. Maybe the staff there should look for new jobs lol read more

I've been coming here for years and every time I go in, I pray when I go in there will be someone more friendly and helpful there. Like someone else said, the ladies there really seem to hate their job. The location it's self is clean and well stocked, I just wish the employees were more friendly read more

This is one of the best Sally stores I've ever been to! Came here to get some supplies for bleaching and toning hair. Almost everyone here is super nice and friendly. read more

I really wish companies would update their hours of operation. According to Yelp, they should be open till nine so I waited til I got off of work at eight, instead of using my lunch break, to go there and they're closed. read more

Went in today chick with the blue hair was stocking stuff near what I was looking at wouldn't move wouldn't say hello didn't ask if we need help. Looked liked she hated her job. No customer service skills at all. Never coming here again! read more

Being in a small town this is pretty much the go to beauty supply store. The product selections are great and customer service is hit or miss. Usually the staff is friendly though maybe understaffed at times or once or twice I've had to wait to get my questions answered. Remember they're not trained professionals. I pretty much know what I need to get but if you're looking for more than the basics - it's probably better to go to a true professional (in regards to your hair). The prices are fair and even better if you get a Sally's discount card which is $5 annually. This will get you rewards and free money and discounts. Definitely worth the money. Overall parking is easy however it's dangerously close to other inticing shops, so beware when you think....I'm just going for a quick trip. Stay beautiful Yelpers. read more

*****This Sally's has horrible service***** the girls at this store seem like the hate their job they argue in front of customers too which is very unprofessional they have an attitude about everything I won't shop here next time I will just order my stuff on amazon read more

No customer service. Very little assistance with locked/behind counter items. Associates need no certificate to work here, and that is apparent; I do all research on products upon purchasing due to the knowledge the staff consistently lacks to give. Snotty attitudes from all - not the integrity you'd expect from a beauty based supply retailer. read more

I have long curly and extremely thick hair and I'm always trying new products on my locks. This is where Sally's comes in. The workers here are friendly and extremely helpful!!! They've given me suggestions on what products would work best with my hair/scalp. They also sell items for your nails and make-up. read more

I love this store. It has every and any beauty supply you can think of/need. The staff is friendly and helpful in giving beauty tips.

I love this Sallys. I find the staff to be really kind and extremely informative. They even listen to my rants and horror stories about hair fails. I am a long time happy customer. :) they have a very good variety of products as well. Wish they'd carry actual O.P.I. nail polish at this location though read more

When I decided to go blond and bleach my hair sallys was there. I ended up buying a bleaching kit that turned my hair orange and then I re bleached it and it turned yellow. I thought I had messed up and was freaking out. Went to sallys and I was helped by Rosa, she assured me it wasnt bad and looked like it should after bleaching. (I started with darker brown hair). She helped me pick out a toner and developing stuff as well as a purple shampoo. I left sallys feeling better and confident that my hair wasnt a disaster. Currently my hair is damp but not looking yellow! Ahh im so happy. Thank you Rosa! I hope thats how you spell your name! read more

This is the friendliest Sally's I've ever been into. I went in to find a new tanning lotion because my old brand wasn't cutting it and the girl helping me was very nice and pretty knowledgeable about tanning. We went in for a toner to tone subtle yellow tint out of a fun bleach job to finish a style we had worked on for two days. They didn't have the toner we ALWAYS use so an employee TOLD us hey use THIS toner. It was Ash grey and we were like....um....Ash grey? We always use the purple stuff. She offered us this info and MULTIPLE TIMES assured us it would tone the hair pure white. Without exaggerating we asked FIVE times...are u sure? She was SURE. So we got it. Guess what? That gorgeous blonde we almost had achieved is now grey. Thank God I rinsed it out early. It was obviously not turning white. Now we can't do ANYTHING about it for six weeks at least after the bleach and toner. We were offered HORRIBLE advice that was flat WRONG. We didn't want this advice but we trusted that this store hired knowledgeable employees. Wrong. We are going to a salon tomorrow for advice and you can believe that this store will reimburse the cost of undoing this grey hair. My advice to you is don't trust these employees. If you have a concern, GOOGLE IT. Google knows more about hair than these people. This is legit bullshit. Legit. read more

Walked in looking for a new shampoo and conditioner to hydrate my curls. Asked the girl with blue hair and piercings if she knew of any or could recommend some. Her response "I don't know. I don't have curly hair so I don't know sorry." What? You work in a beauty supply store, you don't have to have a certain type of hair to be educated on the different products the store sells. I then went up to the short older lady working there (she looked oriental but I could be wrong) and I asked her the same thing I asked the other girl and she immediately told me about some new products they just got in for people with curly hair and how much positive reviews it's been getting. Mind you she didn't have curly hair either but at least she made an effort to help me. I loved her and ended up buying the products she recommended. If it wasn't for her and I only talked to the girl with blue hair I would've rated 1 star. read more

This is the best sallys store I have been to. The employees are very welcoming and knowledgable. Even though I came in 30 minutes before the store closed, Camille answered all my questions and assisted me with what items I should get. She made sure to go over with me how to use each item. I highly reccomend going to this store for your hair care needs :) read more

I Am starting to be a regular at Sally Beauty Supply since the cruelty free options starting expanding. I took back some items that they informed me I could so I signed up for an account thinking they would hold the receipt on my profile. (They don't). The receipt I thought I put in my pocket and I couldn't find it when I went in so they said I would have to get a store credit. I pulled out the receipt that was in my back pocket right after the transaction. This is where it gets interesting I went right back in and I asked if they could help me and was told no! I called Vacaville! And they said a way to make it work. The manager yelled at me asking who I spoke to and who told her. This is the same person who couldn't answer my questions when I originally bought these items hence the return! They said they would do it only when I told them I spoke to customer service! The whole transaction made me feel like a criminal. I bought a few items and only returned two! I won't be coming back to Fairfield! read more

I went in tonight to purchase a clipon hair piece and I was fortunate enough to find a very friendly woman named Michelle working. (This was my first time in this Sally's as I live in Vacaville.) Michelle was so helpful in helping me pickout the right shade for my hair. She was friendly and efficient. She paid attention to ME - not like when you go into other stores and the clerk is too busy talking to co-workers to show me any attention. She is a great asset to the store and I hope her manager appreciates her. read more
