We hit the semi annual sale which is usually busy and positively understocked at most locations. This was well stocked (probably because it is new?) It is located right next to the TJ Maxx store. Today, while checking out, the cashier--who was new--displayed an unacceptable attitude and lackluster customer service. Good service in retail should be universal no matter how new you are. After ringing up my items, I asked for a bag, she picked up a brown paper bag, stated it was the largest they had, and then tossed it onto the counter. I looked at her and said, "I know you're not expecting me to bag my own items." Instead of correcting her approach, she got sassy, and while two other employees watched, one I'm assuming was the MOD, neither stepped in. She then told me she was busy counting the register. If that were the case, she should have finished handling the money first and then properly bagged my items ctly after. The attitude, eye-rolling, and unprofessionalism were completely unnecessary. I will be reaching out to the district and/or general manager and completing a survey to formally document this complaint. Some serious retraining is needed.
