I'm giving this Target one star for their service. I've done order pickups at this location plenty of times, and whenever it rains they will not bring your items to your vehicle. If I wanted to go inside the store I would not have done order pickup. A couple of reasons why this could be problematic. 1. What if I was older and it took me a long time to get out the car and I certainly wouldn't want a elderly person walking inside to get a order when they did online pick just to arrive to store in the rain and seeing a sign that says come inside to pick up your order. 2. What if I had young kids in the car with me I would have to get everyone out of the vehicle get a stroller with rain coats and umbrellas. Again I'm arriving at the Target for a drive up pick up only to see a sign that says come inside to get your order. This has happened at least three different times. This Target carries a lot of things that I use but, if I can't use order drive up on rainy days it is no value to the customer. read more

I used to love this location. Lately, it's gone downhill. I went in last week to get a price adjustment. The young lady went to get someone else. Victor came over and his attitude was nasty from the beginning. I told him it was 2 items. This kid looked at me and asked me how to do it. (Excuse me?) I told him I don't work for Target, so I don't know. Can he get someone else. Which he didn't. He scanned my receipt and turned the screen around so I could see it and told me that's all that pops up. SMH. I don't work there so how am I supposed to know. I took one receipt from the counter & the other one from him and I told him it shouldn't be that hard. This smart mouth kid mocked me sarcastically and says, "Yeah, it shouldn't be." Even my daughter was appalled. I walked off cause at that point, I was done. I went to another target instead. The customer service here is terrible now. And I get tired of being approached about my cell service and if I want to switch. Some lady, its happened 3 times. After work, I don't want to be bothered about my cell service. I know how to switch if I'm not happy. read more

This is my favorite target. Every single person who works here is so nice. There's a white guy who often stands near the door who greets you - love him! Leigh Anna (i hope i spelled her name right) checked me out the other day and literally made my day better. A weekish ago a black yellow was loading stuff in my car for order pickup and he was awesome. And a young lady also helped me at the dressing rooms . The people who work here are so kind. It's hard to walk out of a Target without buying /something/ and that happened to me again this time. I figured that I'd just check it out, but noooooooo. I ended up with a shopping cart, a tshirt, a case of water, a bag of cashews and a tube of toothpaste. Oops. The store is clean and well lit as Targets tend to be. If this is the Target on Grove Barton Road -- Nice staff. They try hard. But to the powers that be (store manager?) -- They took away ALL the seating, yet they have tons of open floorspace where it used to be, by customer service. The pregnant lady I was behind was having a real problem, as I was, with broken vertebrae. How do you spell H E A R T L E S S? Obviously, the blindly young people who create the floor diagrams have never had a hurt knee, a bad back--or a baby. Have you no compassion? Are you afraid (gasp!) we'll loiter?!? I had to sit on the merchandise by the self-serve aisle (it was either that or collapse on the floor) until it was my turn to check out. Thanks heavens that table was there. read more

This isn't my normal target store but when I checked online for some rain boots for my son it was the only place that had them in stock; so I went. When I arrived the first thing that I noticed was how much parking there is in the parking lot. The target is situated below another shopping center and restaurants so I am sure some people will that as over flow parking. The parking lot was fairly decent, I did see where someone had drop their eggs and the crows had taken over that area. I ended up getting a park in front. The boots were waiting for me in the back with my name on them and the guy that helped me was extremely pleasant. I shopped around the store for other items that I didn't need. Had dinner at Crabtree and decided to run up here to get a few items for my daughter since they were having a sale. Why can't I just come in Target and get what I planned to get lol. I ended up buying Christmas lights, a star for the tree, calendars for next year, cleaning supplies, and clothing for my daughter. I planned to spend $50 in and out and lets just say that didn't happen at all. I just love Target. It is my happy place! This store is well organized, all the staff is very friendly and helpful and I had no major issues this visit. I think they should just equip all carts with a timer to make you leave the store to stop spending LOL! read more

This store frustrates the life out of me! When the store is well-stocked, it's nearly impossible to leave empty-handed, but that's not what my recent experience was like. The stock was minimal. I found a couple of the things I needed, and even though some were a bit over-priced, I was tired and willing to accept it for the sake of convenience. Then I saw the line at the cash registers and got over it. The self-serve line was a mile long and only ONE full service line was open. That's just the opposite of what I needed. I abandoned my basket and left. I know the employees hate that, and I'm sorry! I just didn't have an hour to stand in line. read more

I just waited at customer service to ask about an item that was listed as instock online, but was not on the shelf. When I asked, the employee exasperatedly quipped that they were sold out and as I was asking a follow-up question the customer service employee just walked away mid sentence. I was very calm and chill when asking. I didn't in fact feel negatively about the situation until I was walking out the door. The reason I'm leaving 1 Star is because the store did not have what I was looking for and when asked the customer service employee I interacted with performed at a 1 out of 5 in customer service.. read more

Sadly, this is "my Target" (i.e. it's near my home). As always, I went by yesterday afternoon to simply purchase TWO items. There were at least 10 people waiting in the self-checkout with buggies FULL of crap and only 2 registers open, each with at least 3 customers in line. I went back and returned my TWO items to the shelves and walked out. Of course I passed at least 7 employees on the floor between the checkout area and the food section. Why on earth can't you manage /observe your customer volume and see when it's time to OPEN MORE REGISTERS!!!! It's not rocket science. read more

This is an okay target. I wanted to buy some specific stuff that I get at other Targets in the grocery section but they didn't have what I wanted. I was able to find something close, so that was okay. I wandered around the store and some of the displays were a little haphazard and could use straightening but that's more a function of people poking around at them, I guess. Since I only had one item to buy, I wanted an express line but the one that was open was anything but express. 15 minutes later, I left with my purchase. Even though I feel kind of like "meh" about this place, I'll give it three stars. read more

This Target is conveniently located on my way home from work. I've stopped in numerous times to pick up something or to return something. And I've noticed while the one near my house at North Hills may not have something, this location does. Employees are friendly & helpful, but like the North Hills location, there never seems to be enough help on the registers. There could be three open & five or so customers in each line. Store layout is nice & for the most part things are in stock & neat. I like they have a small grocery area. Parking has not been an issue, they have a full lot to themselves. read more

I'm all the way in a different state in somehow I still make my way to a target. I think because I'm from Florida I'm used to all of the targets back home being a super target, this one was not. I came to pick up a few grocery items, but was disappointed in the selection of items they had available. But also I did realize once I walked inside that it was not the super target. I have always liked Target over Walmart. My latest visit will not change my mind but this store location needs help. My wife and I went to Target to pick up an order that she ordered on line. We went to the service counter and saw two workers talking (no problem) we waited maybe 10 seconds. The worker that worked behind the service desk came up and looked at us, my wife stated that we came here to pick up a item. My wife had the bar code on her phone and presented to the clerk. The clerk took her scanner and scanned the bar code. The clerk came around the counter took a cart and took off. My wife and I looked at each other and my wife said I guess she is going to the back and get the item. She came back gave us the cart and we said thank you and left. This was on Thursday night approx 7:45 PM. My problem along with wife's concern is the clerk did not greet us. Did not say where she was going and did not thank us and not even a smile. It appears that this clerk was annoyed by our presence and did not want to wait on us. Also I wanted some popcorn and knew that the cafe closed at 8:00 PM and I know that they close early to clean up, but 7:45 PM. So needless to say I did not get to buy it at Target. I had to go to Cinemark Theaters a pay a gazillion dollars for it. We will continue to shop here as I really like Target over most department stores. read more

This Target is better than the Brier Creek store, but still lacks quite a bit. The lines can get ridiculously long before an associate opens up more lines. Sometimes I'll go to the store just for popcorn (because who doesn't like movie theatre popcorn?) and the cafe is either closed (during the day) or no one is there to assist. I've been there a handful of times and have seen associates watch me go to the counter and not call for help. Buuuuut, the store is clean and offers more selection than some other Targets. read more

Very disappointed. Target refused to allow me to purchase an item that was out for sale. Due to something about "the system" want allow purchase until 10/14/19. Elmo slippers my daughter was so heartbroken she couldn't get. There excuse someone put them out on the sales floor ahead of time but wasn't supposed to. Talked to a supervisor, they can't override "the system". They watch a little 2 yr old girl walk away confused, heartbroken to only offer do she want a sticker. read more

I believe the employee that checked me out is named Jeanne. She is a doll! She had a long line and by the time I got to her she still was extremely friendly and had a wonderful sense of humor! I'm going on 50 and she carded me. I laughed and said she deserved a raise, she smiled and said I don't look a day over 21.5. She was just really fun and had a great laugh! I'm sure with a backed up line, that is hard to still make customers smile and go above and beyond with service. This store even when lines are long has always proven to me that by the time you get to checkout you are going to be greeted with a kind smile and attitude! This Target seems to go above and beyond in customer service! But a shout out to Jeanne, cause she carded me! Ha ha! read more

Always impressed with my local target staff! I went to the makeup department today and wondered like usual looking for products I can't live without. The girl stocking items went out of her way a few times to ask if I needed help and lookup and locate the items I needed. She also gave some great recommendations. My neighborhood Target makes me quite proud. They have pretty much anything you're looking for and it's kept exceptionally clean along with having extremely friendly and helpful staff. They have a great selection of clothing to choose from...although I've mainly purchased bras and baby clothes (for friends). Good selection of music and I've certainly walked away beaming after my finds in that department. They have a nice small variety of books to choose from and certainly blow Walmart out of the water in that arena. I've picked out a few toys for friends' kids and always been happy with what I've found as well. Of course, I've needed gift bags, etc. and those are at a great price and lots to choose from. Additionally, you can find lots of great food in their grocery section. Finally, lots of super sales are to be found here! This Target is really kept immaculately, but most of all everyone always seems happy here, which is always nice to return to since I've been coming here for nearly 10 years. read more

My partner and I were killing some time here before seeing a movie across the way. It was laid out like any Target in the country. But it was an exceptional location because it was SOOOO clean and the shelves in every department were immaculately kept and fully stocked! The staff were super friendly and so efficient that they kept picking up our hand carts if we left them for more than a minute. That got annoying - and cost them a star - but I respect that they were just doing their job to the utmost of their abilities. Our checkout woman was also very friendly, even if she did laugh at my exclaimed amazement over the amount of money I was saving over NYC prices ;-) And even though she didn't double bag my heavy purchases, she didn't give me a hassle when I went to a closed register to do it myself. I was very pleased with my first experience at this Target and will return next time I'm in Raleigh! read more

If you need bras. This place trumps over Walmart any day. The store is very limited due to its size. The people at the pharmacy are nice. Food court sucks minus the popcorn and icees. Best Target I have been to. The produce is always fresh, never moldy. The employees are always in good spirits, joking with each other while stocking the shelves, happy to answer your questions or check you out. These are good signs! I keep coming back to the grocery. It's small but the quality and density of the food is what makes it easy to shop. I like to buy healthy food, and Food Lion is too sparse while Earth Fare can be too spends. This Target makes it easy to find convenient tasty healthy food like microwaveable muffins or a bag of honey crisp apples with peanut butter cups. Because of the small size, such pairings are easier to spot and often on display. Also, this Target encourages their employees to try what they sell, so maybe that explains the expert curation :) read more

I've been shopping at this target for 18 years. It is usually well-stocked. My biggest complaint is customer service. Honestly, I am pretty sure they don't care one bit about their customers. The lines for check out are obnoxious, especially on the weekends. Often on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon, they will only have one or two lines open, plus self check out. Customers are backed way up into the aisles. Also, anytime they are restocking the food shelves, the staff will take up the entire aisle with their carts and not let any customers in. Seems like a poor strategy for a place that makes a profit from customers being able to BUY things. SMH. read more

My pharmacist retired and my experience with another pharmacy at harris teeter left me with the worst taste in my mouth so I thought I would try this pharmacy near my place. I'm glad I did. The staff was super helpful, quick and friendly. I left happy I changed pharmacies. I should have come here in the first place. Good customer service goes a long way. read more

I've a 2 excellent experiences recently. First was a gift (shoes) return w/out receipt. Customer service staff was friendly and allowed me to select another item that fit. I was expecting to get a hassled, but the exchange was easy. Second time i took a 90 yr old friend to buy a cell phone. The sales associate (Pasi) was super patient and helpful. He spent over 30 minutes explaining phone and service options (costs, features, etc). He answered multiple questions more than once, and never meaned to rush or get frustrated with us. Before we left he reviewed the cell provider info and made sure we understood how to get cell service. I was so impressed that i stopped at customer service to tell them how awesome it was. read more

We recently relocated to Raleigh. Three times we have been to this Target on a Sunday morning after 9 am. This is something we have done for years in three different cities. Never before have we seen NO registers opened except self check out. If I had 3-10 items - get it. However each time we had more than $200 worth of purchases which equates with a full cart. Not easy to self scan, bag and hold in the limited area of self check out. This past Sunday I had had enough. I ask for a manager and Kyle walked over. I explained our frustration. He answered that between 8-9 at all Target stores across the country there was only sled check out available. I responded this was not true at all and gave the examples of Signal Hill, CA and Plainfield, NJ. I also then pointed out it was 9:44 am - well past 9 am as in the past two visits. Kyle was indifferent and repeated his view on the Target policy of self check out. He truly did not care or even acknowledge our frustration other to repeatedly asked "If there was anything else he can do..." Not my Target any more. read more

I've been to this Target several times and now I HATE IT. Based on my last experince with the snotty cashier I will never return to this Target location. Last night I went to this Target, because my usual North Hills location didn't have the item I wanted. They had 3 items when I wanted to get 4 to get the $5 gift card. Guest services recommend that I go to Grove Barton, since they had 61 units of the product. Drove 10 minutes in the opposite direction to arrive at the store with a full shelf of product. I grabbed 4 and headed toward the registers. I was directed to an empty lane and notified the cashier that i had a few coupons & Cartwheel, for the 4 items. I presented my BOGO coupon and Target coupon. Right off the bat, the cashier examined the BOGO coupon as if it was fake and she didn't understand what was the value I was receiving. After much "deliberation" she said that I could not use 2 BOGO coupons on my 4 items. They were the exact 4 items and I had made the exact same transaction at my North Hills Target before. I asked to speak to the manager and she called over a guy with baggy khakis and a red hoody shows up. Clearly not a manager! After much debate about the auethinticity of my 2 coupons, number of coupons used in the transaction, the definition of "one coupon per purchase," and how Target was going to be reembursed for the manufaturing coupon, I was told the coupon policy is up to "manager's discresion," so I left the store empty handed and pissed off. I was buying 4 bottles of Windex cleaner, not clearing off the shelves. My transaction is very simple, and it should not have caused so much fustration. I've worked at Target for many years as a cashier when I was going to college and it was very disappointing that Target's customer service is so different depending on the area and/or store. I felt that I was discriminated against and I'll not be returning to this Target ever again! read more

This store is dysfunctional. Employees spending more time getting in customers way than working. Twice I have been trapped behind an unusually difficult customer at the register, without any other register open to service my needs. Merchandise is randomly scattered throughout the store; staff are not doing their jobs. You've lost my business. read more
