I thought it was weird but didn't think much about it. I got the same sensation the second day and it says it is highly, highly deliberate that this scrub tingles so that made the scrub even more fun knowing that was the experience and my body wasn't reacting to it in some odd way. Thank goodness they recently closed and arbitrarily moved our records to their Dentists of Auburn affiliate. We had no plans to go to Auburn for our Dental Care and found an excellent Dental Care closer to our home. There are many issues we have had with this Dentistry practice: * High turnover of employees especially having a new dentist almost every year. * Inability to properly work our insurance coverages with their new dentists being out-of-network. * Closed the Covington facility with no notification to us. Most important, the negligence of the dentists to identify the serious nature of my wife's condition, which should have been discovered years prior, put her in a life-threatening situation. The bacterial infection and bone loss from not addressing this issue earlier will result in months of repair, pain, and thousands of dollars to repair. If we were still with Dentists of Covington their negligence could have literally killed her by not identifying this problem earlier and providing a treatment plan to mitigate the damages, Once we found a new dentist, our repeated attempts to transfer our medical records to our new dentists went unanswered. They also continued to schedule us for appointments at Auburn. Our new dentist could not obtain our records so they did a full work up at no charge to us and immediately identified the problem. The tests they performed we never received from Dentists of Covington. Thankfully, Dentists of Covington closed, and we now have a competent dentist. The significant pain my wife will be enduring over the next months to treat her tooth extraction, bone loss (time to regenerate), bacterial infection, and new tooth implant should never have gone to this extent. There is no guarantee it will be successful. This should never have happened.

I was only there for a cleaning because my regular dentist was busy for a few months. I explained that I'd had x-rays done at my last cleaning, so I'd like to skip them. She called in one of the women from the front desk, who said I either needed to get x-rays done there or have them sent over from my previous dentist, because "Dr. X is your dentist now, and she needs to do a full exam." I've been a new patient at several dentists in the past few years and never had to do a 90 minute "exam" before I could get a simple cleaning done. The intake questionnaire asked what cosmetic treatments I was interested in (none, thanks?). Felt high-pressure sales-y. No thanks.
