Salerno Pizza reminded me of the best days (and unfortunately gone days) of NY. We ordered the House Special Grandma Pie and the Staten Island Special with pepperoni, and a side of jalepeno poppers. The House Special is truly a "work of art", loaded with peppers, onions, black peppers, sausage. The sauce on both pies convinced me it's homemade sauce, and the crust on the Staten Island pie was crispy and chewy - the hallmark of a genuine NY pie. The ambiance was nostalgically-nothing-fancy-simple -chairs-&-tables. I just wanted to stay there and soak in the feeling of simpler days. The steady flow of customers I saw, while waiting for the House Special, was evidence that many people in the area know how good the food in this hidden gem is. To the people working hard behind the counter - GRAZIA!! The work you do every day brings a comfort to each household who take your food home to the dinner table to share with their family and friends. Can't wait to try your calzones and subs!! read more

Yes, Salerno pizza is good, but I will say the woman running the register doesn't bring the happiest of vibes. But putting that aside, I would go back daily for the hot honey pepperoni pinwheels if I could. Those things are BOMB! The pizza was also decent. We really enjoyed the lasagna pizza! Definitely worth a try, get those pinwheels! read more

It's the closest to NY pizza fresh soft and gooey Really good people despite usually being very busy read more

Hard pass. Pizza is too doughy, bland tasting sauce. Nothing about it tasted like homemade. Sauce that equates to ragu. If I could give less that 1 star for this mess I would. The lasagna is seemingly made with the same sauce so unfortunately it was a 1 star also. The structure and size were impressive so if they clean up that nightmare sauce this could be a winner. read more

Prices gone up like crazy. Always an hour to 90 for delivery. Pizza is consistently above average, but less worth it given the two things above. read more

It has been years since I was here. Back then the pizza was eh. It seems they redid everything! This menu is huge and they added items I haven't seen since I left NY (pinwheels). We got the pinwheels and added sausage mushroom. They were huge and delicious!!! We also got the square MVP thing crust which has marinara sauce, vodka sauce, and pesto in streaks. 100% recommend! It was really good and each bite had a new and delish flavor. read more

My husband and I both love the pizza. The service was good and the place is very friendly.

Pretty sure they have the best pizza in the area. We did a pizza taste test that was blinded with our family between Vesuvio's. Two brothers and Salerno pizza. Salerno pizza blew everyone else out of the water in our families random blind taste test. Their garlic knots are superb and we think are the best in the area. Two brothers came in a close second. Price is in line with all the others pick up and delivery are available. Service was fast. No complaints. read more

Pizza, garlic knots, and salad were delicious. Prices were reasonable, the service was very good, and ambiance was simple.

Salerno Pizza - Gluten free, pepperoni, mushrooms & extra cheese! - Pizza Near Me - Stuart, Florida

I ordered a sandwich and salad the other night and wasn't too thrilled with it. They saw the review and immediately responded and asked me to call Dave. I talked to Dave, he told me he wanted to make things right so he gave us a refund towards whatever we wanted. I ordered the lasagna pizza and that was absolutely delicious. All fresh ingredients just enough cheese tasted and looked delicious. I must admit I was wrong giving him a bad yelp review. I should've talked to him personally because he bent over backwards to make everything correct. All I can say is if you get a bad meal, everybody has an off day. Talk to the owner first because if they're decent and a reputable restaurant they'll fix it for you. I highly recommend Salerno pizza. The food is good and they have excellent service. read more

SCW and I stopped in here more by accident than anything else. We were having our vehicles serviced at a nearby dealership and figured we'd grab some lunch to take up some of the time. Full disclosure we wanted to go to a different restaurant in the same strip mall but it was Monday and it was closed. However Salerno Pizza looked like it was worth a try. We were greeted and went to the counter to order after seeing what they had on the menu. We were there for lunch so we decided on the lunch special which was two slices (of cheese for both of us) and a fountain drink at a good price. We paid, took a seat and the pizza came out quickly. I didn't have high expectations for the pizza as I've found it difficult to find good pizza in the area. But wow, they make some really good NY style pizza here. The cheese was not salty or rubbery nor was the quantity too much or too little. Just right. The sauce was really flavorful, a thin layer on a thin crust of dough. The dough was crispy underneath but not thick or burned. SCW actually ate all of the crust on her slices which is quite rare. They have pepper flakes and garlic powder on the tables to put on top if you'd like. I took advantage of those and it enhanced the flavors a bit more. As far as the drinks, we got lemonade which again I wasn't particularly optimistic about (usually is way too sweet for me) but it was really good. The interior is nice and clean and the employees are friendly. I was very pleasantly surprised at the quality of the pizza here and recommend it. read more

Salerno Pizza - Pizza Near Me - Stuart, Florida

Pizza snob here. Let me tell you something... this place is absolutely, in no way, shape or form, messing around. No flop. Perfect ingredient ratios. Thin but not too thin. Excellent crunch to chew ratio. Perfectly cooked. Flavor is beautiful. They do everything the right way here. Trust me. After you eat a slice of cheese here, if you know anything about pizza, you'll immediately know what time it is. Line out the door but so fast because the guy running the place is the realest of deals. Absolute legend. I've brought multiple friends that are the hardest to impress with pizza and they were shocked. Old school classic pizzeria vibe. 9/11 memorials on the walls and they keep the grated parm for your pizza in the fridge, not out on the tables... need I say more? I don't know these guys and they ain't paying me a dime. To be honest they're too busy to even deal with you for more than 30 seconds and you should feel lucky to get that because the food they make deserves respect and gratitude! The type of pie they do here is not easy to make and do consistently but they nail it. read more

The pizza has been good since Mark was the owner. I have ordered there for years. However all that ended last night. It is unfortunate when the owner of an establishment is so condescending towards his long time customers. With all the competition out there I will no longer send money his way and I will spread the word to friends, family, and all Publix coworkers. I am not sure if he thought I couldn't hear him by the pizza oven saying"I can't bend over backwards for every customer but I will for $1.50", or he just didn't care. Dave says he was trying to make things right, but we both know he was not very nice about it. In today's economy and the way the world is you'd think you could just be nice and treat people better. read more

Honestly the best Italian food in the treasure coast. Beats out the vast majority of full sit down Italian places I've had and the service is always great. read more

Ordered to-go here late soon before closing and the service was great. They have a nice small space with a few tables but not a lot. You won't save $ by ordering to-go vs in the shop. It's about the same. They seem to have several good combo meal deals that differ depending on the day of the week. The Sunday special was fantastic and enough for 2-3 people depending on how much you eat. The teriyaki wings were my favorite. The garlic knots were good as well. The pizza was nothing special but certainly satisfied my craving for comfort food. It was mainly the dough they use for the pizza that wasn't the best and lacked in flavor. If they change their dough this would be closer to a 4.5 or 5 stars restaurant. read more

Best pizza in the area by a mile. It's literally the only pizza in the area I enjoy. I moved here almost a year ago now from So Cal and the one and only thing I miss from my former home is the food. Pizza and Mexican food topping the list. I didn't think I was ever going to find truly quality pizza until I found Salerno. I can't tell you how many pizza places we went through chasing good pizza. I mean if you don't know any better, you don't know I get it but this is pizza folks. No one else around here even comes close. read more
