Simple Pizza Restaurant in a very small strip mall, right off the main road. I wouldn't go to Roma's except they have the BEST PIZZA in the area. Great service, very friendly staff, a real local type restaurant. Good pizza not exactly like NY but better then most in Florida. Lots of variety. Not to expensive. Crust was good not over done. Good amount of toppings for the price it's great. We had 1/2 meat lover and 1/2 roma supreme. Both were good. We started the meal w mozzarella sticks hot crunchy and gooey. Sauce was tasty too. We then shared an antipasto salad it was nice lettuce very hot peppers some rolled up cold cuts olives and the dressing was good. I did drink the water but was told it was good. The unsweetened ice tea was okay. Love that they have crushed ice. Can't wait to try other menu items. The place was hopping Carol our server was great she was everywhere on top of all the drinks and was very attentive to patrons. The place is a typical pizzeria w a bar n dining room attached. We were there last week. We have been going to Roma's for 25 yrs and never have we had such a bad experience. Our favorite supreme pizza was a supreme onion pizza. Picture included. We saw a few finely cut pepperoni, finely cut sausage, no more than a dozen black olives, sauce was non-existence and no cheese. Must have been in a hurry with no sauce. This made the pie EXTREMELY HARD. Prior to today we have always eaten with a knife and fork, today's pie was so hard (not burnt) but no sauce made it brittle enough that we broke of pieces to eat. We ate 3 slices due to being super hungry and waiting 40 minutes for a pizza when we were the only 2 people there. We took home more than 1/2 to the dog. Our dog is a mutt he will eat anything. They must have used 2 onions on this pizza. We will never eat there again, save your money and go next door to Domino's. read more

This was a great little Italian restaurant. We were passing through and unfortunately won't be regulars, but I could tell this place is a neighborhood gem. Several customers came in or left and were acknowledged by name. We were greeted very warmly when we came in and specials were explained (there was a board right in front) which was cool b/c some places don't do lunch specials on weekends, so it was nice that we didn't have to ask or wonder. My questions about any pork in the meat sauce were answered politely and the guy was just all around pleasant and accommodating. The food was excellent. Everything was fresh! The kitchen is open and you can see one guy tossing the pizza dough. Food was brought to the table very timely and in a decent order - salad and garlIc knots rolls, then pizza slices and fInally our baked ziti and ravioli. I will rave about the baked ziti now. It was delicious! The noodles were perfectly tender, the right amount of sauce and cheese (that sauce to cheese ratio is important OK?!) and it had the perfect amount of garlic! I love me some garlic and with the ziti, I can tell they are not afraid of it in this place! All for great prices. You can't beat that. Lastly, I liked the atmosphere of this place. It had that family-run feeling, but wasn't a hole in the wall. The restaurant is small but ample space for several families to dine-in. And it was super clean! I was impressed. The restroom, kitchen, the ordering counter, even the condiment shakers seemed cleaner than average. I really wish we were closer to this place to give it more support. read more

Not sure why my pizza was so bad. No pride in making the food for customers? I have been going to this pizza place since it open with the owners Frank. Ordered a simple cheese pizza. When I picked it up , the pizza had no weight to it. Like 4 oz. Felt really light? When I got it ho r it was , no cheese on it or very little, I red sauce, couple table spoons, crust , none. the worst pizza I ever had! Just three weeks ago I did order one and it was good. Next pizza horrible. You know when you make a good pizza, pride, value, , This guy who made this pizza was not into making a great pizza. There are other pizza places in town. Why would you make a horrible pie? I ordered a pizza from another place in Palm City was excellent. This is NOT a pizza from Roma's . This is what a good pie looks like. I appreciate that they sick to Italian dishes.. everyone is very friendly and puts effort into their work.. I had the mussels with spaghetti and white sauce! Roma Pizza and Subs is a small Italianesque place like thousands of others. We went because it was convenient to Stuart Yacht Basin. I took my crew of four here for dinner before pushing offshore for an eight day passage. After a day of provisioning and testing and technical discussion a chance for some social interaction and relationship development--team building--was in order. Roma is reasonably quiet so we could actually hear each other speak. That's good. Service was okay. Drinks came in short order (not exactly prompt, but we didn't have to go looking for anyone either). The food was fine. Not "fine" as in fine-dining. More "fine" as in your wife telling you she's fine. *grin* Again, expectations are moderated as yet another Italian pizza and sub local place. Once in a while you'll find a place that excels. Roma is not that place. It's just okay. If I'm back in Stuart again to pick up or drop off a boat I would go back, as long as its close. I would not go out of my way. read more

From hanging up and not taking orders to getting orders wrong repeatedly and taking our order then forgetting us when we went there to eat so we had to wait well over an hour for our pizza. If I could give this place zero stars I would. I went around 1:30, there was no one else in the restaurant. I ordered a slice of pizza and a salad waited twenty minutes and still no food. I proceeded to ask the server for my food to go, as I had a 2p Appt across the street. She snarled, and proceeded to loudly scream profanities about me in the back with a male who I'm assuming was the chef. I finally had to walk out when I heard from the chef in the back state "look at this! Here's your salad Bitch." I am disgusted by my experience. Place is so inconsistent. They have the waitresses make the subs which is ridiculous and unsanitary. I was there with 3 people in there and waited 40 mins for a sub. Then I was in there with 20 people in there and it took 50 mins to make my sub. Garbage meatball sliders that are made with meatball toppings instead of an actual meatball. Owner and his 2 employees are all in the back for 15 or 20 mins at a time with nobody helping patrons. Guy completely ignores customer service and only pays attention to friends he cares about.
