My wife and I have been searching for a restaurant that makes Sicilian pizza and it was on this menu. We ordered it as dinner and now I am letting you know my opinion. The pizza is baked like most pizza is, very doughy and filling. The toppings were ok, the sauce was average. In the whole scheme of things I would not order it again, we will continue our search. We tried the Sicilian style pizza and I was not disappointed at all. The only discomfort was that I couldn't eat the whole four slices,but I was content with one slice plus soup and salad. Rest had to take home. Went with friends and they wanted to try something new as well, all of us were very satisfied with the food and service. Place is small, but reminded us of how much we enjoyed and missed Italy itself. Brought back memories of our time there. Great food, great service, and great value. Our waitress "Juliet" was so patient with us when we asked her about the food and she was so kind to explain everything on the menu. We found our new favorite Italian restaurant. This place is absolutely amazing. Mouthwatering food, excellent service and a great environment. My mom lives nears here and we went to visit and she insisted we go and get takeout from here. So we decided to try a variety of items, here it goes: Fried Mozzarella Sticks -- delicious! Rice Balls -- omg, so good. TASTY!!! Large House Salad -- a little small for the price, but very fresh Vesuvio's Meat Amore (we did ours without bacon) -- This was excellent. Authentic New York style pizza. The sauce is so flavorful and sauced to perfection. Spinach & Cheese Calzone -- This was the real winner for us. The pizza is excellent don't get me wrong, but this calzone was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! Omg the amount of ricotta that is used was absolutely perfect. I am still dreaming about this calzone. Cannoli -- SO good. Like SO SO SO good. Highly recommend. We were driving back from Orlando and looking for a good barbecue place not too far off the highway. We didn't find one right away so we decided on pizza and we were SO GLAD WE DID! Vesuvio's is a tiny place with huge, amazing aromas! We knew from Yelp pics that we wanted to try the Grandma Pizza, so we ordered that immediately. Our server had only been working there for a short time, but she was so great. She made us feel welcome and we could tell she too was excited about the great food we were about to try for the first time. Our Grandma Pizza ranked as high or higher than any pizza we've had, including Fort Lauderdale's and Miami's top-rated pizzerias. The first thing we noticed is that it was a beautiful, rectangular pie. We couldn't wait to dig in! Immediately the garlic hit, followed by a bit of heat in the sauce. The had created a unique flavor all their own! The crust quickly became my favorite thing which in my book is the acid test for good pizza. I wanted all 4 corner slices, but my wife got one first! We had a great chat with Ralph, the owner, creator and the REAL DEAL from Napoli, Italy. This guy knows his stuff and then some! We ordered delivery from this place and it was exactly what we needed tbh. We were both not feeling our 100% best and woke up from a 5:00 pm nap for dinner, then were planning on going right back to sleep. This Italian food HIT THE SPOT. It's truly comfort food at its best imo. We got the baked ziti and the ravioli. They were delivered (15 mins away or so) still piping hot and that was wonderful. The included garlic knots and salads were the perfect compliment to our entrees. Beware, the garlic knots can squirt oil so be careful when you eat them! The salad dressing is light and pairs perfectly with the heavy carbs in the rest of the meal. The ravioli dish comes with six big raviolis and that was honestly the perfect size, more would've been too many. There was also sooo much sauce with them, more than I needed honestly. The baked ziti was super cheesy! Made for some great cheese pulls. One of my top pizza places for sure now! However, my cousin is a little more plainer then I and she felt that the pizza had too much flavoring and only could eat one slice. Excellent pizza. Maybe the best crust that I've encountered since moving to Martin County. Great "bite" and "chew"! Toppings fresh and tasty, though could've used more sauce- there wasn't much. Top notch antipasto salad as well. Our server (though a really nice guy) was very overwhelmed and could've used a little help. I almost passed on dessert and that would've been a BIG mistake! This is another hidden gem in Stuart. As an Italian from the Northeast, Vesuvios is like a "Little Italy " store in Boston or NY! The pizza is cooked perfectly and if you like thin crust, they do it perfectly. The spices used are perfect. They also sell their homemade sauce so we buy that regularly now. It's almost has good as mine! They offer baked goodies, which were fun and tasty. They have a small Italian market so we bought their olive oil for our home. We have been here Been here for over 3 1/2 years and one was beyond fortunate to discover 'Vesuvios' just a few weeks into the pandemic, just after our arrival to Stuart. Couldn't have survived being in lock down without 'Vesuvios'. It's located just east of US1 and Palermo Road, just south of Walmart. They have excellent Pizza, Stromboli, All kinds of Pasta and allover great homemade Italian food and amazing pastry for take-out or indoor casual dining. Always consistently good food, nice family owned in-door restaurant. Been ordering from Vesuvios on a weekly basis, tried others, and am definitely sticking with the 'BEST in ALL' of Stuart and nearby areas. I think this is my third review for this place, I just had to write another one to let everyone know they have arancini made the CORRECT way, with the meat & peas in the middle, not mixed in through the whole thing. This may seem insignificant to some but if you've ever made them before then you know it's a big deal. The way they fry them gets them so crispy and be sure to get the sauce on the side. I could eat it with a spoon (who am I kidding, I do). I'm moving soon and going to miss this place the most out of all the great places there are to eat in Martin Co.! read more

Still my favorite! They use real ingredients(not like that fake papa place) I love thin crust handmade pizza. Lunch special is 2 slices (bigger than my head) and a can of soda for less than $5 for lunch. The inside is really small, seating is limited but I only get takeout so it doesn't bother me at all. I bumped it up to 5 because the young guy behind the counter, who I think also took my phone in order was genuinely friendly and helpful. The food was ready in 15 minutes. So it was almost ready when I arrived. I ordered a 12 inch pepperoni, side salad and chocolate cake with white frosting. Everything tasted great. The crust on the pizza was good, the sauce was tasty and not overpowering. The pepperoni slices were huge. They make all of their desserts and have a wide selection.
