a pizza in a box
Joyce M.

Was looking forward to a grandma pizza and ordered from Anna's. Worst pizza ever. Had to wait over a half hour. The dough was so thin, the pie was barely there. the sauce was nearly absent. They took the pie out of the oven and then put wedges of cold cheese on it! I had to put the pie in MY oven to melt the cheese. Their response: "That is how we do it"!!!NEVER AGAIN. IT WAS LIKE EATING FROZEN PIZZA, ONLY IT COST ME $24.00!! I had to give it one star to do a review. It actually gets NO STARS.

My favorite kind of pizza! Perfectly toasted crust while also being chewy in the best way. Will definitely be making this a regular place!

They used to be great; not anymore. Terrible pizza. Lasagna is not the same; half the depth and super small portions.

Very disappointed with how this situation was handled. My mom, sister, and I came in for dinner on…read more6/26 and ate on the patio. My sister ordered the Rigatoni Boscaiola with a chicken cutlet on it. Looking at the chicken, it was visibly pink, and she understandably didn't feel comfortable eating it. We informed our server, who apologized, but the plate never left our table and was never taken to the kitchen for anyone to inspect. We ended up removing the chicken to a separate plate ourselves. When the bill arrived, the chicken was still included. After we asked about it, the server told us the chef said, "It's just a vein." Please see photo attached as the chicken is visibly pink and we are aware what a vein looks like. That was extremely frustrating because the chef never actually saw the chicken after we raised the concern--the plate remained at our table the entire time. We weren't looking for a free meal. We simply wanted our concern to be taken seriously and for someone to inspect the chicken before dismissing it. Instead, we paid for chicken my sister no longer felt comfortable eating. The other pasta dishes and appetizer were fine, and had our concern been handled appropriately, we wouldn't have left a review at all.

Husband and I had a hankering for some good Italian but we didn't feel like going out to eat…read more We picked up some food here to go, having never eaten here before. Let me start by saying, I have had hundreds of cauliflower pizzas, from many different restaurants. I can't seem to find anywhere that makes them right. I ordered the cauliflower Quatro fomaggi pizza... My husband picked the order up a few minutes past it's prime so we got it a bit cold. Despite the pizza literally being cold by the time it got to my house, it was NO JOKE the best cauliflower pizza I have had in my life. The flavors were spectacular, cheeses were savory and sweet, sauce was ridiculously flavorful and enjoyable. My husband got some lasagna and he enjoyed it thoroughly. We also got the gluten free chocolate mousse cake and it was decadent and sweet. We split it and it was so full of flavor, one slice was enough for us to share. My husband recounted that he's been struggling to eat meals recently and this meal literally brought back his enjoyment for food. We enjoyed the food a lot. I will most definitely be coming in for a sit down experience for the best cauliflower pizza I've ever had in my life. If it's that good cold, I can't imagine how good it is hot. It was so nice to enjoy some high quality food and to be able to stay gluten free

Over $100 for meatballs, a pizza, and a couple of beers each? Yeah, that hurts a little…read more But when they personally transport you to New Haven, Connecticut with every bite, you forgive a lot. The meatballs were absolutely fantastic -- easily 5 out of 5. Then came the tomato pie, with fresh chopped tomatoes on every slice, and it was phenomenal. This is the kind of pizza where you take the first bite and immediately understand what they're trying to do. Yes, it's expensive, but it's worth it. The food was fantastic, and if New Haven pizza is what you're chasing, Fantini's gets you pretty damn close without buying the plane ticket. .

So I ordered their calamari because in the pics it looked lightly breaded and they include the tentacle pieces, which are my favorite part, and pictured was a lemon aioli sauce, as well as marinara sauce. But when I asked about the lemon aioli sauce they said that they normally didn't include it anymore, but would give me some. It was a late to go order, so I ordered the calamari, a meatball sub and the classic tiramisu dessert. The calamari did not disappoint me and was the best I have had in a loooong time! It was lightly breaded, crispy, but not overcooked, and the lemon aioli sauce was a perfect sauce to dip the pieces in and not overpower the flavor of the calamari. I ate almost all of the large portion. But I wish I could order a half order next time, in order to get a smaller portion of several different items, for more variety for us single people that don't have people with us to share bigger portions. The meatball sub was good too; the meatballs are good and the bread is great and sturdy enough to not soak up too much of the marinara sauce and fall apart. My only complaint is that the 'marinara' sauce tasted more like tomato paste than a marinara sauce; I did not like their marinara sauce. And I would pay for extra mozzarella cheese if I ordered this again. But I did eat much of the huge sandwich and wish I could have gotten a smaller 1/2 portion. I highly recommend their excellent classic tiramisu, which is so good you will eat it all and wish you had more!! One of the best you'll ever have.

With this small local business having an hour left until closing, I was unsure if they would still want to serve my family and me. The manager gladly informed us they were open and let us know we had time to order, for which we were grateful and appreciative. My family ordered a 14-inch meatball pizza to split. I ordered six habanero raspberry boneless wings, six sweet raspberry wings, waffle fries, and broccoli cheddar poppers. The habanero raspberry was a bit spicier than I expected, yet thankfully I had the sweet raspberry to alternate between. The broccoli cheddar poppers were a nostalgic delight that I had not had in 13 years. The waffle fries were seasoned perfectly, which was awesome. I dipped the broccoli poppers and waffle fries in the ranch I received with the wings. After I finished my boneless chicken wings, I mixed the remaining habanero raspberry and sweet raspberry sauces together to use for my fries, which was a sweet and spicy delight. The manager truly went above and beyond to ask us how the food was and if we were enjoying everything or needed anything else, like napkins or other items, while they were cleaning up and preparing to close. We ordered fried dough (aka zeppoles) and cinnamon sugar caramel-filled churros. The manager was completely understanding of our situation and graciously allowed us to stay a bit past closing time to enjoy and be comfortable while eating the dessert we ordered. Overall, the ambiance was positive and friendly, the service was a true delight, and it was nice to share outstanding conversation with an amazing manager while enjoying some delicious food. Thank you for the opportunity to eat here so late and for being kindhearted.
