Solid 3.5 stars pizzeria restaurant in South Stuart by Superwalmart. I liked the passion in there from the staff, they have pastries cookies and hard meat and cheeses for sale also. My meal started with 4 star freshly baked garlic knots properly seasoned with Parmesan cheese and olive oil. My dinner salad was excellent, portion size bigger than most and crunchy yummy with creamy Italian dressing, cucumber, black olives over iceberg lettuce. My main course of chicken parm over spaghetti with marinara was good not great. Huge portion size where I took half home, the chicken was properly breaded, seasoned and sautéed, covered in nicely melted mozzarella. The pasta was the weakness, spaghetti was overdone and mushy and way way overdressed with too much sauce. How about offering me a choice of which pasta I want, give me that sauce on side and cook it al dente on the verge of crunchy. On vacation from Tacoma, WA. Our host and his son said they had not found a good pizza in town... well the yelp reviews seemed ok so decided to try Vesuvios, so glad we did! We had the family combo with the Sicilian and cheese pizzas. They covered both of my pizza cravings. The Sicilian was thick with the perfect amount of crisp and chewy.
