I appreciate his 10 out of 10 customer service and dedication to his job. Every time I text, yelped or called him he would answer within minutes! He was kind and respectful to our tenants and didn't leave out any details to the repair! We have a toilet which in the past has clogged up. He snaked it right through and was all clear! He recommended the use of muriatic acid for the future. He also stood by his work and guaranteed it! I would 100% use his company's services again!!! Thank you James!!!

Great value and courteous service!…read more I recently had two plumbing problems that needed the attention of a professional. First, my shower drain had gone from "slow" to "stop" and with company in town I certainly didn't want us all sharing a bathroom. Second, an outside spigot was continuously running and sending my water bill into the triple-digits. After being stood-up by another handyman, James and his crew came out on a snowy night and worked overtime to efficiently correct both problems. They were courteous, communicative, and happy to share a few "pro tips" that we'll employ next time we have a serious bathroom drain clog. We will need to separately patch the hole in the drywall that was required to repair the outside spigot, but that's a small job and worth the effort given the responsiveness and affordability of 007 Handyman.

Mike did an amazing job repairing our leaky basement window! I reached out via email to show some…read morepictures of the damage. He replied back with an estimate and some times he could come out. He showed up on time, examined the window with me and laid out a plan for the repair. After working on it for a bit he brought me back down for an update: there was a lot more water damage than we expected. We made a new plan to replace more of the frame. There were a couple more surprises that kept expanding the job (more rotten wood, an old rats nest in the wall above the removed window, brick damage caused by the rotten beam bowing and not supporting the bricks above the window properly). The job ended up being a lot bigger and more expensive than expected (2.5 day job rather than 0.5 day; billing is by the hour and very straightforward), but I couldn't be happier with the work and the process. Rather than a quick patch job I ended up with a solid, long-term fix. Here are a few more reflections on working with Mike: -Great communication. Mike gave me frequent updates, walking me through what he found and what the options were. -I never felt like I was being upsold. Mike was very collaborative and empathetic when showing me problems and discussing solutions. -Mike's knowledge and skillset goes deep. If this had been a simple window sealant job with a frame board replacement I'm sure he (and probably lots of other handymen) would handle it great. But as we peeled back the onion and found more complexity it became clear how well he understands houses and how to make them work the way they're supposed to. Mike and Renaissance will definitely be my go-to for future handyman / painting / renovations needs. Thank you Mike!

However, nothing worked so he came the next day and brought a new hydraulic brake for the storm door. He genuinely wants to help you without having you spend a lot of money. I really appreciate that. It's rare to find someone who would rather help you for free over the phone than to have you spend money if possible. That speaks volumes about Chris.
