He was very apologetic and offered to come by personally first thing the next morning. He came, and gave me a free estimate Friday which was very reasonable and we were able to schedule the work for first thing Sunday. The work was for drywall installation, taping, and mudding, including fixing some ugliness that had occurred as a result of demolition/renovation. José came on time and was polite, friendly, and respectful (if those things are important to you) but honestly I care a lot more that he was extremely good at his job. He got right down to business, and made my terrible mess of a wall into a beautiful work of drywall art. I recommend that you hire them, and I will be recommending them to everyone in my neighborhood as well.

Quick service and fix!…read more I felt confident with the quote and details of how WM Painting and Handyman did the job. It took a week and a half to schedule out but on the day of, the employee who came to do the work handled it seamlessly. I already had matching siding paint available, and the contracted brought the wood, trim, and their tools. There was some paint finger prints on the siding after the job was done, but brought it up to the contractor and they were able to clean it up afterwards.

The team (extra shoutout to Rigoberto) was professional and incredibly respectful, especially given that I was home with a newborn for the entire project, and made living around construction easy for a family. I was really impressed with how cleanly they worked and their attention to detail. As the daughter of a carpenter, I have high standards and am really pleased with how our projects turned out. We'll continue to enthusiastically recommend their services around the DC area.

I'm always pleased with both the experience and the results. I used to work with a few different contractors and would rotate through them as each one had shortcomings. Since finding Nestor, I haven't needed anyone else (except for large specialized projects like driveway replacement and solar installation). Nestor is responsive, transparent, and easy to talk to. He explains everything clearly, offers practical suggestions, and always kept me in the loop on progress and next steps. The quality of work across all areas is consistently excellent. Pricing is also reasonable. For the level of craftsmanship and service, they are a great value. If you're looking for a reliable contractor who delivers quality work across multiple trades and communicates every step of the way, I highly recommend Chapin Handyman. I'll definitely continue calling on them for future projects.
