I love me some Salatas! They didnt have any in SPI so this was new to me. I love this location because it always clean. The customer serivce friendly and the condiments are always so fresh. read more

Love the atmosphere, the people and the food. Make the salad anyway you want it is my favorite thing. Will definitely be back...this is my favorite healthy spot. :-) read more

Huge fan of Salata! Everything is always fresh and yummy. I love the concept of customizing your very own salad to your liking however, my only gripe is the inconsistency this Katy location provides. When I order a large salad with the price tag of $11, I expect just that.... A large size salad! This location employs lots of petite teenage girls with small hands therefore, what should be a large size salad ends up being a small one because of their inability to hold more greens. If you're lucky, you'll be served by a young man that works there with large hands. That's the only time my salad portion has been consistent to other Salata locations. I hope management implements a system that allows customers to receive a consistently proportioned size salad that we expect to receive. read more

Ever since they appeared to change management/staff, I have not enjoyed this Salata. The first time I went since the change, my lettuce was brown and none of the ingredients were fresh. Second time same issue. Not fresh ingredients and bitter tasting lettuce. I used to love Salata but it is no longer worth paying the price since the quality has declined. Unfortunately I won't be returning. read more

Salata is a delicious place for a great salad, I myself love meat however I'm not a fan of cold meats in which they offer so every time I go in there I actually get some of the warm bacon that they use for the soups and I have that tossed into my salad with some egg and I create something of a BLT salad with all of the fixin's not to mention extra extra Ranch this place is great it's always busy but the line moves fast and the ingredients are always fresh read more

I love being able to make a salad with lots of options - that I didn't have to shop for and prep. The price is comparable to a dinner salad at most restaurants, so, for me, this is a good healthier meal option. read more

I have eaten here a dozen times at various times of the afternoon and early evening. The food has always been fresh and the staff and polite as can be. A variety of leafy salads to chose from and a wide variety of toppings and dressings. You can literally have an endless option menu because they have soooo many toppings. Simply a great place for Salad. read more

I eat here all the time. Its such a clean place and great fresh salads.I like the concept of ordering your salad exactly like you want it. By the way, The owner, Tina, is terrific. read more

Absolutely love this location!! They always have fresh ingredients and all of them unlike other locations I've been to.. anytime I'm in the area this is my go to place for sure! The people that work here are always super friendly and very attentive even during the lunch rush read more

Lovely salad with loads of toppings. It was fresh and yummy. The tea is really good too. I'll be back.

Hands down this is the best place for salads. They have a great variety of toppings and salad dressing options. The portions are huge, I can eat off of a regular salad 2-3x. Fresh ingredients, friendly staff, and you definitely get more bang for your buck here. read more

Perfect if you're interested in healthy eats that are extremely delicious, well-served, and possibly expensive, dlepending upon the number of exquisite ingredients (my personal favorite is shrimp) you choose to add as toppings. It is a meticulolously clean restaurant, well-run by friendly, knowledgeable, servers. This is an excellent 5-star eatery which has my "Wheel of Approval!" read more

Ok so let me first say that I go to Salata DAILY! But this was my first (and last) visit to this location. I only make the mistake of stopping here because I was running late to class and this one is close to my school. I get the same thing every time (boring I know but it has its perks- I always know what to expect!) and I immediately became disappointed when I sat down to eat. My salad was on the small side despite the fact that I got a large salad and added protein. I was left feeling hungry a few hours later and that's never the case at the cypress location. The greens where wilted and my cilantro was full of stems and not chopped. i received maybe 5 pieces each of strawberries apples pineapples and a small scoop of egg. The salad was unusually smothered in dressing and to some that might be a good thing but I found it to be a sign that my salad was lacking immensely and not worth the 11$ I happily pay at the one by my house. If this was my first experience at Salata I definitely would not be a regular or even eat there again. This experience has made me really appreciate my regular Salata and I will never cheat on them again. read more

See all

I want to give a big THANK YOU to Eddie at Salata for bringing my salad and drink to my car....so I did not have to wake up my sleeping baby. Not only are they always so kind, but it's nice to see the same smiling faces since they opened. read more

great place to get a salad of your choice. a little overpriced but clean and friendly. Glad we have one in Katy!!!

This location can not handle large to go orders & treat you like a major inconvenience. Even on one order they will forget your dressing. The forks & utensils will be completely out at the busiest time while the employees are in the restroom playing on their phones! Gross! read more

Fresh salad but way overpriced. I don't see why they can get so many people to to $12-15 for a bowl of salad. For this price this should be a salad buffet. read more

Salata is basically a glamorized salad buffet where the employees have control over the food that goes on your plate rather than you, the customer. Other than the brown avocados, everything seemed fresh. I was very disappointed that they do not stock Sweet 'n Low for the iced tea. So I will return next time and drink water. read more

Great place if you're craving a salad!!! They have a lot of options, and delicious toppings and mixes. The staff is very nice. The tomato soup is the best! read more

I can only write this review based upon the service and horrific staff since I never made it to the point of eating my salad. I see from other reviews on here I am not the only one having this same issue. This was my first time at any salata and the servers had no clue what I was saying. I asked a question about a kids meal and the women only stared at me and smiled. Another man kept putting the wrong ingredients on my salad and then gave me rude looks when I asked that they be taken off. Finally my mother who visits the West Chase location multiple times a week was floored when they told her they charge for additional scoops of dressing since the other location doesn't. When she asked the manager about it she was extremely argumentative. After this horrible service down the line we decided to walk out. As we turned the corner we heard the manager laugh and ask her employees who wants a salad. The manager, Liz, was extremely unprofessional. read more

Fresh, huge selection to build your own salad of quality ingredients. Pricy though, $32.50 for two salads and two drinks.

I have always loved the restaurant but they were very stingy on providing the amount of food when you select them. They do a two finger pickup and for the price that I paid was upsetting. I always get the salmon and the size they had displayed was very tiny compared to the Memorial City Mall and Katy Freeway location. The staff is friendly but the amount of food they provided killed it for me. read more

The ingredients are fresh and salads taste really good. I would agree they are slightly overpriced for a salad made in this type environment. Maybe in a sit down restaurant ok but not chipotle style place. I also agree they could add 1 more person to the assembly line and 1 more cashier which would make the line move much faster. The problem though is they don't have enough seating to accommodate people coming through the line faster. There would be a backup for seating which kind of already happens. So if they could figure out how to make that work and lower prices a couple of bucks would get 5 stars from me! read more

My problem was waiting in a line of 3 people for 5 minutes. I didn't understand why it was taking so long until it was my turn to select a salad. The waitress didn't understand one word the people were saying. Luckily I speak a little Spanish. The other thing I didn't like was the amount they give you. I order a regular salad and when it came time to add cucumbers she gave me three small pieces. I asked for a little more and she gave me one piece. One piece was the size of a peppermint candy. I didn't understand why. Did she think I wasn't going to eat them. I mean I am 6'1" 285lbs and I like cucumbers A LOT. So instead of begging for more cucumbers i just left and went to another place. read more

Salata hates black people!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Me, a white female is normally in that place 3+ times a week and the staff is friendly to me as usual and is able to meet my requests with a smile. So why is it that the one time I send my AFRICAN AMERICAN male friend in to order my salad for me today, August 13th at 11:34 am the whole entire line was rude to my friend for asking simple questions and the cashier, Camille M was a total bitch to him for being confused over the transaction when I know y'all wouldn't treat any other person the way y'all treated him when it was his first time there. Is this really the kind of customer service y'all wanna provide ? read more

Don't go here for lunch. Line is so slow! If they had a second cashier it would probably help a lot!!

The best salad in town. They go out of their way to make your salad. They will gladly add more ingredients of your choosing. I have placed orders to go many times and they are always ready when I'm there to pick them up. read more

I believe this place is good but expensive for what it is. Great mix ins. Soup available. The tomato basil was good low acidity but after awhile kinda got to me. nice for lunch. read more

Being a new location the staff is a little slow. I am confident they will pick up the pace. They are super friendly so it makes up for it! If that is the worst thing I can say then they are doing alright. They give you a great portion size which is more than I can say about some of the other locations who want to charge me an extra dollar for "extra sides". If I am paying $11 for a salad they better make it count, and this location did. read more

My boyfriend would beg me to come try Salata, and I'm glad he did! I love this place! Every time I come the atmosphere is so friendly, and clean! Lines are fast, and food is always fresh and looks very good! Totally my favorite place to eat:)! Staff is super friendly, and funny!! 5 STARS!! read more

My mom and I both got food poisoning from this restaurant. We were sick as a dog. Imagine waking up from your sleep with a terrible aching stomach. I only ate 2 tablespoons of her salad and got this sick. This is the second time Salata Mason has gotten me sick. I will never be back to this location, which is unfortunate because I love the concept. If I could give zero stars I would. I hope this review will prevent anyone else from getting ill. Not a fun experience at all!! read more

No sweet tea. Lemonade sucks. Servers only places very little on your salad. They do not have customer service vision skills and can only help the ones that speak their language. Hard to fond my self coming back to this place. read more

So I had super sub par service . First off when I was getting my salad the server took some of my spring greens out of my bowl when I asked for spinach on top. I thought that was really rude .... next I asked for cilantro, the container was empty. The server then stated they were out. I knew that was a lie and told her to check. She looked under the counter n said we are out. I said are you sure .... she then went to the back and brought out 4 containers full of cilantro! So yea basically she was too lazy to check .... finally I made it to the bread station . They were out of fresh bread . Cool, no big deal. I asked for croutons for my two separate salads. They gave me one bag of croutons. I stated I ordered two salads I need two bags of croutons. The cashier and the server had the nerve to tell me that was enough for two ppl and dismissed me. Like seriously?? Just bc u are popular spot and are always busy , doesn't mean u can b rude, unpleasant and unprofessional . read more

Been repeatedly and each time the salads are great. Today it was awesome. Always enjoy the fresh salad with many choices. It is a busy location usually. I will say though that I think they are getting a little pricey with $12-15 range for a reg salad. There are a lot of options at this price or less. read more

Great staff and great salads too! Best place for salads. Lines are always long so that must mean something

I took my daughter here today. This was my first time coming to this location and I will be back soon enough. It only took us 10 minutes to get to the register. Everything was fresh as always and they didn't run out of anything. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I'm thinking about going back for dinner. read more

The three stars is for the food or else would of been one star. The service at this location does not match the other three Salata locations I have visited. I have given this location roughly 10 tries hoping for improvement, but seems to be getting worse. The owner really needs to spend a few nights at this location to see the disappointment in the reviews first hand. The portions have gotten ridiculously tight, I assume as business has slowed due to lack of service and instead of improving service owner has made the decision to cut back on food cost. Also how does this establishment constantly run out of toppings? Final note please invest in the bread warmer as the bread is somewhat inedible when not heated. read more

Yum! I always have a great meal at Salata! This is my current favorite place to have a salad and I love the herb marinated chicken added in! The honey mustard dressing is great also if you like mustards as much as I do! This location inparticular provides a pretty decent parking lot as well as a good sized seating area. Some Salata's I have been too are very tiny. The service is always quick and the staff are friendly and make you feel happy to be their customer. Really enjoy my experience everytime I have gone! Check it out for sure! read more

Unfriendly staff members caused my experience to be unpleasant. The managers did not greet their guests and seemed to be very negative. The overall experience is not based on just the quality of the food, but their poor service did not make the customers feel welcomed to eat in an enjoyable environment. read more

I have always enjoyed salata & tried various locations, but I must say this is my third time trying this location abs it has been a disappointment at least twice. One time I came abs the staff was completely in a twilight zone during the entire service and in a rush towards the end. I wasn't too worried because sometimes I understand you can't always control your staff and everyone has bad days. I went today with the hope of a month of so apart something has improved, but sure enough was I wrong. This location was completely out of most of their lettuce types and veggies not restocked. I feel like it's not the customers job to ask if you have lettuce or veggies in the back when you can just restock when you see it's out. Myself and another customer asked did they have a specific lettuce in the back because the trays were empty and sure enough they had fresh lettuce in the cabinets. Some of the other lettuce wasn't fresh looking. I watched the lady putting the salad in the container spill some of the salad on the countertop and put it back in their container. That is disgusting because no one knows if those countertops are clean. The lady mixed my salad in a hurry and handed the salad to the guy to bag it up without fully making sure it was fastened up. Smh I'm glad I stopped the guy to say can I make sure the salad is closed tight. This location is giving other salata restaurants a bad name & it's really ridiculous. I plan on going to other locations before I come to this location because it's not up to par. read more
