My online order which clearly does not list chicken.
    Isaach M.

I ordered a salad bowl online and specifically said asked for no chicken. I attached the online order for this review. When I got home and opened the order, it's filled with chicken. For medical reasons, I can't eat chicken. The people who made my order clearly didn't read it at all or completely disregarded it. I can only imagine what this place would do if someone was trying to avoid a life threatening allergy. This was a waste of my time and money.

A usual regular here, food is awesome. Portions are amazing. Made a salad bowl with extra grilled chicken. So flavorful, and worth the bang for your buck. Great customer service, very welcoming staff. 10/10

Been to the location near Aliana a couple of times since their opening. Food wise a lot of variety compared to other similar places - variety of toppings, sauces and main dish choices. However I felt the portions were small compared to their competitor nearby even if you chose to add extra rice for an example. Customer service is good, got my order quick and the employees were courteous in each visit. I have not eaten inside however decent amount of space between inside and outside. Very clean atmosphere as well. It's a good alternative if you went to other places that offered similar style of food though it felt a bit pricey for the small portions.

I frequent this location often since I work across the street. The food is always fresh, and the restaurant is SO clean; tables, floors, and the drink station are always immaculate. Glory, who works the front, is awesome. She is so fast and friendly!

I'm so glad I discovered this CAVA location! The restaurant was spotless, and the food was both fresh and hot. I tried the new spicy chicken, and it did not disappoint--great flavor! Definitely recommend giving it a try.

went to @cava, I am a fan of rice bowls as it is, wanted to give theirs a try. they have multiple bowl options on the menu, and an option to make your own, I went with the make your own. since this place is not halal, so my meal here was all vegetarian. so my bowl consisted of Saffron Rice, Harissa, Red Pepper Hummus, Roast Veggies, Falafel, Fiery Broccoli, Pickled Onions, Olives, Tomato's & Cucumbers, Pita Crisps, topped with Hot Harissa Vinegarette and Skhug Sauces. Overall the good was amazing, generous portion size, very flavorful, the harissa had a kick to it. it just all went well together. definitely a great spot to check out.

Having dined at this place four times now, I can attest to the fact that their pita and salad bowls are truly delightful. The flavors are consistently excellent, and each visit has left me satisfied with the taste and quality of the food. While some have noted concerns about portion sizes, I found them adequate, especially considering the rich flavors. However, where this establishment falls short is in its customer service. On each visit, I experienced frustratingly slow service. The staff seemed unprepared to answer basic questions and often spoke in such low voices that communication was difficult. During busy periods, they appeared overwhelmed and inefficient, leading to long wait times even for simple tasks like warming up pita bread. Moreover, the cleaning of tables was haphazard at best, with staff seemingly oblivious to the need for prompt attention after a group left. Overall, the pace of service was sluggish, detracting from the overall dining experience. Despite these shortcomings, the restaurant's popularity speaks volumes about the quality of its food. It's evident that many patrons are willing to overlook the service issues in favor of the delicious cuisine. However, if the establishment hopes to retain its customer base and attract new patrons, significant improvements in staff training and efficiency are essential. In conclusion, while the food at this restaurant is undeniably excellent, the lackluster service leaves much to be desired. With some attention to training and operational efficiency, this establishment has the potential to truly shine.

Amazing service. There's always a line. Just when there's about 2 people left in the line, more people start coming in. Well-lit, clean, simple and modern atmosphere. There's also some outdoor seatings to enjoy. Side note, some customers don't know how to clean up after themselves so for god sake... toss out your trash when you're done so others can use the table/chairs to dine-in! For those whose never been to Cava. You go in the line, choose between building your bowl and/or pita wrap or choose from the menu (refer to my menu photos). Build your own bowl/pita wrap starts at $11.25. Some proteins (such as Harissa Honey Chicken) are extra. It's almost like Chipotle, Halal Guys, Gyro King, and Piada where you pick what you want in your bowl/pita wrap but Mediterranean style. Healthier option than many American fast food restaurants. Drinks are made in the house but there's also typical soda fountain options. Food was delicious! You get 1-2 scoops of each item, depending who is in charge of which station. It doesn't matter what you pick to be honest. I haven't had any bad choices. Meats are at room temperature. You can ask dip and sauce on the sides; I always opt to have the sauce on the sides. The speed of the line will vary, depending on prior customers. But no worries, the staffs are friendly. For all you tree-nut and peanut allergens, none of their sauce/dips contain any peanuts/tree-nuts!!! Yay. Although I don't have a tree-nut/peanut allergy, it's a pain and I totally understand.

Love there Mediterranean takeout food items. Great place to grab a quick semi-healthy meal.

The food is always amazing and the customer service in this location is outstanding. I was there today and as soon as I walked in, the whole place was clean and the ambiance was amazing! The cashier, Flor, and the manager were beyond incredible. They helped me with my order and did it exactly as I requested it. The drinks are also unique and delicious. I definitely recommend it and will be coming back soon. Thank you!

Harissa avocado bowl was great. Large portion.
    Diana N.

I have been a fan of CAVA. I used to go there in Austin. I usually build my own bowl, but the harissa avocado bowl ($15.15) seemed to include everything I'd normally get. (Harissa honey chicken, feta, crazy feta, hummus, avocado (half an avocado!), corn, cucumber, pickled onions (yum!), basmati rice, greens, harissa vinaigrette.) Seems a bit pricey but it is a large portion. It was 2 small meals for me. Bf ate his whole bowl though. I got the harissa vinaigrette (red sauce) on the side because it's spicy! Build your own starts at $11.25. I'm not sure when this location opened but it seems new and it's pretty busy. The line was long but it moved fast. I did see a lot of people take it to-go or pick-up. Parking was a little challenging too (i parked close to Whataburger) . There was enough seating inside though, and there were some tables outside.

The bartender was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Not to mention the ambiance was nice. I ordered a mule cocktail from the menu (I wish I could remember the name!) and it was delicious light, refreshing, and the perfect way to start my meal. I've been on the hunt for good lamb chops, and let me tell you, these were exactly what I've been craving. I haven't had much luck finding lamb chops that really impress me lately, but these absolutely lived up to my standards. I asked for them to be grilled a little longer because I love that extra charred flavor, and they came out perfect juicy on the inside, beautifully grilled on the outside, packed with flavor, and with no gamey taste at all. The rice and salad were excellent as well, and everything complemented the meal perfectly. In fact, I literally didn't leave a single crumb on my plate. If you're looking for flavorful, well-prepared lamb chops and great service, Mezze1 is definitely worth a visit. I'll be back!

The food was flavorful and well-prepared, and the live belly dancing added a fun touch to the evening. That said, the space felt a bit tight, especially when the dancer was moving through the dining area. We were also seated near the entrance, and having a line of people waiting outside in view throughout the meal took away a bit from the otherwise pleasant atmosphere. Overall, a great place for Mediterranean food, good service, and a lively night out. I'd likely return as its in the neighborhood, though I'd request a table away from the entrance next time for a more enjoyable dining experience.

A solid restaurant for something to feed you at reasonable pricing. Great for dining in and to-go…read more I personally enjoy their mixed kababs with rice and hummus (comes with pita bread). Other honorable mentions: philly cheese subs (both beef and chicken, depending on your preference), beef kabab wrap, crispy chicken burger, and you must absolutely get their fries to share (or not to share, whatever floats your boat). Honestly, haven't had any issues with any of their entrees. Just a tip that fries actually are crispier if you dine-in instead of taking to-go. They also have catering service, which is great for when hosting for my Muslims friends and knowing everything I order from Busy Boy's are halal. I haven't tried their crepes but my friends love it here and always recommend it. There was a time over the Summer when I would randomly find hair but I realized it's one of the workers who kept scratching his head with food-prepped gloves. Haven't had any issues lately since then but just a headsup. I've been coming here for years and it's really a good option if you want food that doesn't take forever, halal, and just laid back atmosphere. Just please clean up after yourself to clear the table for the next guest. If you ever get a combo (with fries and a drink), I highly suggest the lemon-lime at their soda fountain but just try a bit of everything if it's your first time.

During a stressful and emotional time, they made the entire process easy, smooth, and affordable, and I am so grateful for how kind and accommodating they were. I really wish I took pictures of the food after we displayed it out for the guests, but it was a funeral and my brain truly was in another place. We ordered the rice, a side salad. Both were in very large aluminum dishes, and two servings of felafel sides and then a mixture of beef, chicken and lamb wraps all cut in half. The owner personally spent time with me on the phone multiple times going over the menu, helping me figure out how to get the best variety of dishes within our budget, and making thoughtful suggestions that ended up being perfect. You could tell he genuinely cared about helping us, not just making a sale. The food was absolutely delicious -- so many people complimented the wraps and the rice in particular, and several guests asked where the food came from. Everything tasted fresh, authentic, and homemade, not like typical fast catering or fast food. At the last minute I realized I didn't have cutlery, and without hesitation he took care of it for me and included it in the cost, which took a huge weight off my shoulders. I actually first tried their food when I gave birth at Memorial Hermann across the street in February, and I'm so glad I remembered them and came back to use them for catering. The quality is amazing, the service is even better, and the price was about half of what other catering companies quoted us -- with better food. Truly an amazing business run by genuinely good people. I highly recommend them for catering, especially if you want authentic food, fair pricing, and people who really care.

This is the case with Lama Mediterranean Cuisine in The Woodlands. My wife had a doctor's appointment at 2 pm and we live about 35 miles away, I figured go early and get some lunch and then get to the doctor with a full stomach. We put the address into the GPS and pulled right up in front of the restaurant. While it was nice weather outside, we decided to sit indoors and I am glad we did because I noticed some diners outdoors were batting away insects. Our server, Abraham came quickly and took our drink orders while we studied the menu and admired the beautifully decorated interior of the restaurant. Blue is a strong color they have used effectively, there is a large dinging room for a big group just off the main dining room and a bar at the far west end. We ordered some appetizers and they came out quickly, We had a small order (4 pieces) of the Fried Hallumi Cheese and also Kebbeh. Both came with a small sampling of cucumber, tomato and red onion which paired well. The Kebbeh had the most fragrant seasoning, I believe a mix of cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice and clove. The serving sizes were ample and after trying some we both agreed to save room for the entrees we ordered, my wife had the Gyro Sandwich and I had the Chicken Shawerma, both were wrapped in a super fresh pita that had to be house made. My wife had the regular fries and I had sweet potato which were cooked perfectly, so light and crisp. We couldn't resist ordering some baklava to go, my wife thought walnut sounded good but our server said he felt the cashew was the best so we ordered that. When he brought it out, he said that there were 2 pieces of the cashew but he also added one of walnut at no charge, what a treat. We will be coming back here, the restaurant overall was super fresh and clean, service was great and the food was fantastic.

I finally visited this Greek/Mediterranean/Persian restaurant on a Sunday for lunch to see why it's…read morerated so high. Inside is elegant and well decorated with glass tables and large rugs everywhere. Looking at the menu, it's a mix of various cuisines, but they do separate out the Persian dishes which are somewhat similar to Mediterranean ones just cost a little more and have different spices altogether. If you visit on weekend nights, you'll likely get to see belly dancing here. I settled on the chicken shawarma wrap, even though it costs a few dollars more than the chicken pita. It does come with one side for $21,and I chose French fries. It tasted pretty good, but you do have to get used to the pickles which gives the wrap an overall weird taste. These are not your typical pickles which go well with American fried chicken sandwiches. A Mexican tortilla is used as a wrap here instead of the bread they use for wraps in other Mediterranean restaurants in Houston. If I wanted a chicken burrito, i would have dined at a Mexican restaurant. The fries are previously frozen ones and lightly seasoned and really only decent when hot. Unfortunately this is one of those restaurants which takes care of newly seated guests and large parties but ignores the tables of 1. Not my fault I only have one in my party. They seated me in the corner and another gentleman came about 20 mins after me and I never saw a waitress go to his table after being served his entree either. The chef or kitchen hand is the one who brings out the entree from the kitchen here and my waitress never showed up until they try to take your plate away. However, I was still eating and also waiting for 10 mins on a refill. I can only eat so much before needing to take a sip of a liquid...but if you come with a party of one here..you will likely be waiting awhile. The lady taking my plate wasn't even my waitress either. Meanwhile, for the gentleman sitting outside alone, I observed his drink to be empty a while and they weren't refilling his either. He finally leaves and goes to a cash register to pay. What? A semi-fine dining elegant spot with mandolin playing in the background has a cash register where you have to go up to pay? What is this world coming to? With these prices, they should roll out red carpet from the front door to your table each time you walk in....and surely make the waitress do something for once and take your card and swipe it herself at the cash register which shouldn't be in the middle of the damn room. Sort of defeats the purpose of being elegant. Did I mention the glasses are plastic here too. If they want to be refined, try at least using glasses for drinks.
