I've been here three times now, and ordered catering from Sunray Pasta for my graduation party. The waitress, Watanee, is always extremely polite and willing to help. The chef is wonderful, and I have not had a bad dish. My personal favorites are the Chicken Parmesan and the Creamy Tom Yum Shrimp dish. Also, the ambiance in the restaurant is great. Great service great food sadly always empty when I come for lunch or dinner on weekends. My favorite is their complimentary toast, their virgin drinks/, the clam pasta and tom yum. Their truffle soup tasted just like traditional mushroom soup -- good but I didn't taste truffle. I wasn't a fan of their porcini meatballs-- rubbery. Otherwise their food was good. A new fusion pasta spot near my hood? Sign me up! Tried this for a late sat afternoon takeout lunch so can't speak to the ambiance of the restaurant but the food was ready promptly and server was very friendly when taking the order over the phone. Tried the truffle pasta w shrimp added and the angus beef ragu pasta. You get to choose the type of noodle with your dish. Both dishes were delicious and creamy. Portion sizes are filling for one but not really enough to share if you're hungry IMO. The prices were quite decent for this type of cuisine as well. They have some very interesting Thai Italian fusion pastas and pizzas including Lobster Tom Yum Ravioli which I'm hoping to try soon. Found this on yelp and wanted to give it a try. We wanted an Asian flare but italian food and we got it. It's a Thai infused Italian inspired restaurant . We ordered tom yum pizza(came in thin crust), great flavor, cripsy crust, lots of topping, loved the fresh parmesan cheese and thai chili on the side 10/10 Also ordered Thai green curry with parmesan chicken with spaghetti pasta, divine flavors, love the peas and carrots, love the creamy sauce curry with a little spice and the chicken was crispy 10/10 The owner was very nice and the food she made was great. Since it was only her at night, service is more slow but it didn't deter us from good food. She said they are now serving halal meat recently as well. 10000000% recommend!!! I found this place a week ago and have been here 3 times since. Why has no one thought of Thai food and Italian together sooner? Their creamy tom yum pasta [I like it with linguine] is by far my favorite thing there. There are a bunch of honorable mentions -- cream shrimp risotto, panang beef curry pasta, my kids and friends kids enjoyed the bolognese. I keep ordering one new thing every time and I haven't been let down by any of it. The woman who works the counter is always so sweet and thankful for the business. It's a small mom and pop shop so I really hope everyone goes and supports this business and keeps it in our area!! read more

This place doesn't try to impress you. It doesn't have to.The tom yum pasta comes in hot and sharp, the kind of heat that cuts through whatever nonsense you're carrying with you. The fried chicken curry is heavy, greasy in the right way, and exactly what a tired body needs. After training jiu jitsu, this is where I end up bruised, hungry, and looking for something honest. Food and service were very good. We ordered the arancini truffle and mozzarella sticks as appetizers and the truffles were excellent and the mozzarella sticks were just average. The complimentary garlic bread was very good and they brought out more when we had finished the first basket. I had the bolognese with linguine and it was delicious. My husband had the Alfredo with fettuccini. He said the Alfredo sauce was good but he could have done without the chicken. He said it was kind of tough. My grandson had the kid's Alfredo and he loved it! My daughter in law had the carbonara and said it was very good. My son had the beef risotto which he also said was very good. I was craving pasta . We were in the Richmond area so we decided to give this new Italian restaurant a try. O.M.G, I am stunned how delicious everything we ordered turned out . I'm 100% satisfied and falling into deep food coma. Sunray Pasta reminds me of an intimate family owned cafe in Italy, super cute decor. I just love the interaction from the Head Chef. We ordered via UberEats, and here's what we got: Truffle linguine with garlic confit (2/5): very generous with the truffle and sauce, but unfortunately, pasta was overcooked, and the sauce too creamy and overpowering, so the consistency was mushy. Spaghetti bolognese (4/5): my (picky) husband really enjoyed it. Sauce was delicious! Pasta cooked just right. Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken schnitzel (3/5): my (also picky) son seemed to enjoy it; generous amounts of crispy chicken; pasta also overcooked. Really, really, REALLY slow service. We waited for quite a while just for the waitress to come to the table. We waited even more for our food to come out. Michelle ordered a pizza and Jeff ordered lasagna. They brought out the lasagna first, and since Jeff isn't going to eat if Michelle doesn't have her food yet, we waited and waited while the lasagna got cold. You just don't do that in the restaurant business. You don't bring an order out piecemeal. People want to eat together. I watched the same waitress do the same thing to the table across from us. And the lasagna, while not technically "bad," was just bizarre. It was like a lasagna burrito covered and doused in a tomato cream sauce. We're glad other people like this place. There were several bad reviews on the LMF facebook page, but we wanted to assume those were the exception - so we gave it a try. The chicken parm was the worst I have ever been served. It was very thin, stringy, & overcooked; the knife could not cut through it; the breading was thicker than the stringy meat; total thickness was about 1/4 inch; the "parm" was some sort of tasteless cheese stripe about 1 inch wide. The pasta was cooked properly but the red sauce was more chopped tomatoes than pasta sauce. The Alfredo sauce was lumpy and flavorless; Our server was pleasant and attentive - but the meat was horrible. I do not recommend. Maybe there was a reason we were the only people in the place from 6-7 pm Wednesday evening. They have no clue as to how Italian food should be prepared or how it should taste. We considered just leaving, but my wife felt sorry for the server who did her best. We will not return. read more
