This is the 4th time I have placed an order online with them and they have completely missed putting in ingredients on my salad that I had requested. The ingredients I request are literally printed out on a receipt for them to go by, and they still cannot manage to make the salad correctly. Today (again) they never gave me the protein I ordered but still charged me an extra $4 for it. They forgot to give me extra dressing that I asked for but they also charged me extra for that. They also never added eggs to my salad which I requested. I called them to request a refund. The rude girl who answered immediately threw me on hold after it took them 8 rings to finally even answer their phone. Then an even ruder and more incompetent girl named "Lacy" came on the phone. I explained to her that they didn't make my salad correctly yet again, and I want a refund for at least the cost of the protein that they charged me extra for but never gave me. She took my information and told me she'd let the manager "Sandy" know and have "Sandy call me back today and that Sandy would process the refund today". Then after asking her some more questions Lacy started contradicting herself...now saying the manager Sandy would "only" call me back if "I wanted her to" after Lacy had just took down my phone number and told me that the manager was indeed going to call me back today...so I said "yes you said the manager would call me back today so I want her to"...I then asked her what time will the manager call me back then today? Lacy now said "oh I don't know the manager isn't here today I don't know her schedule"??? I then asked her well how would the refund be processed then today by the manager, and how would I then get a call back today from the manager, like Lacy initially told me, if the manager was NOT even there today??? Lacy was caught off guard and said "oh um she can do the refund through her system even if she's not here"??? What??? Then I asked Lacy, so when will I at least expect to get my refund then? She said "oh I don't know how many days it'll take for the manager to put in the refund" after JUST telling me the refund would be done today. She made no sense and was lying. She clearly has absolutely no idea how to do her job. If I don't get a call back and/or receive my refund back on my credit card by tomorrow morning I'll be contacting corporate to report my issues and give them Lacy and Sandy's names. I am so tired of being ripped off by this location. And I don't appreciate Lacy giving me attitude and false information when they're the ones who made the mistakes. They have the audacity to charge $15 for one mediocre salad then never even make it correctly. Then charge you even more money for protein and not even give it to you. The salad was DISGUSTING. I threw half of it in the trash. I will never go to another Salata again. They can't even manage to make a simple salad properly and that's their only job. This new chain restaurant is located in the Brazo Town Center close to Kohl's. This was my first experience with Salata's and I enjoyed the wide variety of fresh ingredients and reasonable prices. The large interior has clean lines and booths, 4-top tables and high top seating with wide isles. Patio seating, with umbrellas, is also available. Another review mentioned the loud music but it was at an acceptable level when I was there. Maybe others had complained and they corrected. As you enter, the entrance to the salad bar is to your left. First pick whether you want a wrap ($7), small bowl ($7) or regular salad bowl ($8). They place all of your selections in the bowl and transfer to a plastic container before you pay. Then select your preferred lettuce which includes spinach. After that continue down the line to select from more than 50 toppings. Customize your salad with veggies, olives, artichokes ($1), eggs, bacon, cheeses, fruits, proteins are an upcharge (4 types of chicken and turkey), fish (seafood mix, baked salmon, shrimp, crabmeat), baked tofu and quinoa with vegan and gluten free options. Finish off your salad with one of the 10 dressings. I found it helpful they offer samples of the dressings if you're unsure. If your looking for a low calorie dressing two fat-free options are available. Make your salad or wrap as simple and healthy or as elaborate as you like. At the end of the salad bar is where you'll find chipotle white bean, broccoli or tomato basil soup along with the multigrain croissants and pitas chips. Add a cup of soup for $3 or a bowl for $4 to your salad or wrap. I had the tomato basil which was good but a tad salty. I ordered the regular size salad since it's only $1 more than the small. My salad was far from healthy, but delicious, as I added several toppings from each section. All the toppings were tasty and incredibly fresh. I sampled the ginger dressing and went with the flavorful and light dressing. A mini multigrain crossiant comes with each salad and wrap. I recommend purchasing a second for an additional dollar. Salata's offer a rewards program with $1=1point. Sign up online or grab a card at the cash register. The salad ingredients are incredibly fresh, toppings for everyone including vegan and gluten free, affordable prices and the relaxed ambience made for an inviting space to dine. I was super excited to have this place open in my neighborhood. I love a good fresh salad and soup. I've been to other locations. I went to the soft opening. Huge interior, very clean and nicely lit. I was immediately greeted by the salad bar staff. It wasn't packed for dinner but then they haven't had a gram opening yet. You choose wrap or salad. I chose a salad base (types are of greens) , toppings including fruits, then proteins (extra $3-4) --I chose spicy Cajun chicken (they also had shrimp and artificial crabmeat), avocados and artichoke hearts extra $1, and there were 3 soups (beans, tomato basil , broccoli cheese). I got a cup of the tomato basil and a cup of broccoli soup $3 each. Or You can get a bowl $4-5. Then you get a multigrain mini croissant or pita chips. My total $17 for regular salad and 2 cups of soup. The salad was so fresh , crispy, and tasty. My soup was soooo good , a tad too salty but good. They let you taste the different salad dressings and the soups. I got nonfat mango dressing. So light! I may have to go here daily!! I just discovered this location due to my home being severely damaged in the winter storm last month and relocated to some nearby apartments. I ate there every evening for a week (I LOVED IT)!!! Until yesterday, I was off from work and went in around 11ish,(didn't recognize any of the staff) ordered my same salad, except no seafood mix, lets try the pesto chicken. The young girl informed the male cashier that I had pesto chicken and extra dressing. I informed him I didn't get extra dressing, he replied "yes you did" I informed him i have been here every day for a week and was never charged for extra dressing and he kept saying "we charge for extra dressing we charge for extra dressing." I said "I cant believe I'm arguing with you is there a manager available?" he stated she was back there, I asked him to get her. He responded "if you don't have the money I'll pay it...WHAT??? Now I'm furious this child is talking to me this way. I took my mask off and asked for a manager. He proceeded to the back and screamed across the restaurant I TOLD YOU I'D PAY IT FOR YOU!!! The manager comes out and its a very young girl and say "Yes?" I asked his name she stated Michael. I explained what just happened and she just looked at me. I asked did you hear me? she replied "your salad is free" NO APOLOGY NO EXPLANATION NO I WILL DISCUSS THIS WITH HIM...NOTHING. They got $14.07 from me for 7 days never again. First off, they do not check who they give the food to when ordering online. They use a third party delivery service "Door dash" and they do not check the drivers for cleanliness. My food arrived on time I will give them that but it arrived with a extremely foul stinch or cigarette smoke and I am just disgusted. Second. I called door dash to advise them of the condition that the food arrived in. The cigarette smoke penetrated the food, so I was refunded, but heres where the employees get very rude. Since I placed my order through their website, door dash refunded my order but the only way I could get my refund was from the restaurant. I was advised by door dash to contact the restaurant so they could process the refund. I called. Upon calling, I was told by 2 guys and 1 girl that I would NOT be getting my refund because they don't have to give it to me. They told me in such an extremely rude manner that I expect actions to be taken If you can find a different salata location please do. Do not give this establishment your business. The buttermilk ranch dressing was too watery and lacked enough ranch flavoring. I tried the lemon vinaigrette and it was bitter and too sour. I know being a lemon dressing it will be tart but should not have been bitter. I picked falafel as my protein. DON'T GET THE FALAFEL. Super dry and partially burnt. Totally inedible.
