We had a good dinner (albeit expensive) and I'm sure we'll dine here again if we are in the area. We were in the area on one of the 100+ degree weather days we have sooo been enjoying (sarcasm) and wanted somewhere with 'lite' options for our early dinner. It has been years since I had True Food last and remembered it being tasty. Hubby and I were sat quickly and our server was really friendly and always smiling. We ordered a starter from the seasonal menu, watermelon haloumi salad, which was an excellent REFRESHING beginning. It really cooled us off , if you can believe it, after being in the heat all afternoon. I want to recreate that dish at home and eat it everyday, but I don't think I would get the dressing right. For our entrees, we were feeling like burgers - I ordered the Turkey burger (oh my it was delicious - the best seasoned turkey burger I've had - not bland or dry at all!) and hubby ordered the All American (and it was cooked just as he ordered it medium - shocking!!). I ordered the Simple Salad as my side and although the greens and cucumbers were fresh and the dressing was scrumptious, there was a bit too much dressing which made the greens go limp quickly. Hubby requested the air-fried French fries and they were lack luster - some cooked too much (burnt) and others still raw; not sure how that was possible - maybe they loaded too many in at once??? I ordered one of the zero-proof cocktails and was really surprised at had good it was. I'm even going to look for the tequila that was used so we can make them at home - it was called the Spicy Clean Margarita - yummy!! Service was a bit slow but I think that was because of the time of day we were dining - 4pm; the servers were prepping the empty tables for dinner service so they were a bit distracted.

Everybody is very friendly and the place is usually very clean. Service is great. Food is genuinely delicious. First visit I had a mushroom sauce and beef crepe and my husband had a croissant waffle. Both very good. Second time I had a smoked salmon crepe, which was incredible. It also comes with a side salad that was equally delicious. They have a vegan batter option which was actually very tasty, not something you expect. My husband had something breakfast-y the second time around, also great. The cappuccino comes with a little Eiffel Tower on it which is a cute touch. Only complaint from the first visit was finding a hair in my cappuccino. I genuinely don't know how you get a hair inside a cappuccino but there it was. We sent it back and they rectified the situation very quickly, so kudos for that. They have a couple of vegan options and alternative milks, not a huge selection but it's there. We would come back. No real complaints. P.S. My ratings are based on whether I believe I could make a better or healthier version at home. If food/drinks/service impress me, I'll be happy to come back. If not, the stars reflect that.

This location is long overdue for an updated review…read more If you are like me and love a great salad, continue reading. If you are not a fan of a great salad, continue reading anyway; perhaps this review will convince you to checkout Snappy Salad. As many places do today, Snappy Salad uses a model where you can build your own salad. If that's too much work for you, they have some delicious menu salads which make the process a little easier. In addition to salads they also offer wraps and sandwiches. I tend to stick with their menu salads with my favorites being the "Grilled Avocado" for which my protein of choice tends to always be their mesquite grilled chicken. Depending on the season, if available, I also enjoy the Berry Blast salad. As for this location, it was never my favorite. Previously, I experienced issues with unfriendly staff (they just didn't seem like they wanted to be here) and it showed in how they interacted with customers, made the salads, along with maintaining the seating area, etc. Recently, I returned to this location to give them another try and I am pleased to say this location has improved. The staff is super friendly and welcoming and they are very knowledgeable of the menu. This is key as recently Snappy Salad refreshed their menu and added several new menu salads, wraps and, sandwiches. Additionally, the seating and beverage station areas are way better maintained than previously. Considering the major changes that have occurred, it's almost as if this location is under new management. Regardless of why things improved, I am pleased they did and look forward to many more visits to this location. If you are in the area, I highly recommend checking out this location.

Our waiter John was incredible. He was kind, soft-spoken, personable, knowledgeable about the menu, and did NOT rush our dinner at all which was extremely appreciated. I noticed that an employee slyly cleared my chopstick wrapper from the table so my parents and I put trash / empty plates at the end of the table and timed how long it would take for servers/bussers to come take them (lol) and both times it was within the same minute!!! It was refreshing to see people working together so harmoniously. Not to mention the ambiance is fantastic and everyone is always having a great time. Love hudson house so much ! 100/10
