Salata is one of my favorite choices for lunch! If you are a veggie lover, they have a TON of choices for your salad! I find most places give you a max of 5 but here you can choose as many toppings as you like, all included in the $8 price! You only pay for the meat, but can have as many veggies as you want. There are about 50 to choose from... So i get to play and have a different salad each time :) you can also order online and drive through their pick up window.... Tried this restaurant after hearing many good things. Went a bit earlier then the dinner rush because we've never been and knew you had to build your own salad and we have a toddler. Unfortunately the customer service was lackluster. While juggling our toddler and choosing the items to go into the bowl, the young lady behind the counter gave no input / suggestions and gave off the impression that we were bothering her because we didn't quite know what we wanted in our bowl. Also when it came time to build the kids salad they were out the paper linings and had to put his in the cardboard box. When it came time to pay the manager I belive took our card while I was holding our toddler gave us the receipt and jumped on his iphone. He also failed to mention where the silverware was the drinks were or even perhaps offer to help bring our tray to the table since I was busy with the youngin (we were the only ones in the restaurant ) All in all food was great restaurant was extremely clean but next time may just go with call in pickup read more

I love this restaurant! You can order online and set time to pick-up your salad. They have a great variety of vegetables,fruits, meats and salad dressings. There is no need to get out of your car. They have easy drive through to pick-up your food. It makes eating healthy a lot easier! read more

This is my favorite location!! Everything is fresh and they slice their tomatoes and cucumbers smaller than other locations! I love Salata in general, but this location was disappointing. It's clean and spacious and one of the nicest locations I have visited aesthetically, but the lettuce was wilted! I have been to most locations in the DFW area as well as Houston. Salata consistently offers fresh ingredients so I was surprised to see this. I hope today was just an off day! read more

I love Salata but did not enjoy this location. First they were short handed on employees as well as low on romaine lettuce and other vegetables. One of the employees was very rude. When I asked for one scoop of chicken and one scoop of turkey, she asked if I knew it would be extra in which I responded yes, $2 right. She said "no it is $3" in which I replied "are you sure because at other Salata's, I paid $2. Her response was, "well why did you ask". Really??? You asked me. Also, the ice machine was out of order and they did not offer ice from the back or an cold beverage nor did they apologize for the inconvenience. One customer kept asking about the ice & one of the employees was nice enough to give him a bottled water free of charge. Well the smart mouth employee that I encountered was not happy about it & told the employee quite loudly that he should not have done that and the customer just should have dealt with the ice being out. They preceded to argue for at least 10 minutes about it him giving the customer a bottled water. Needless to say, I will not be back to this location. They were extremely unprofessional & rude. read more

We have a great new place in Coppell! Salata is finally here in our neighborhood and it is delicious. You can make your own wrap or salad. The ingredients are endless. Best salad bar around! Fresh, delicious, tasty, affordable, and all around awesome! The salad bar has a huge variety of choices of veggies and toppings. They have several choices of chicken, shrimp, and salmon for an extra price. The bean soup was fabulous! The pita crackers are made in house and stole the show! I asked for more. The tea selection was incredible- 7 teas on tap! Overall, quality food that's healthy and fresh! The place is clean and the service was wonderful. We loved it and will be back!! Excellent meal, wonderful customer service, all for a great price too. Healthy but still delicious. I recommend the wrap. The small salad is still quite large as well and more than enough for one person. The staff let me have little taste testers of anything I wanted to try. All and all great food, great atmosphere, and always fresh. When you order online however terrible. I put what I want and I never get the full order. It's always missing a couple of things on it. I order the big salad and get one side of dressing. I'm sorry I don't like to you eat dry lettuce. This was awesome. Fresh food, wide assortment, helpful staff, and amazingly inexpensive! The smoked turkey was a good addition, and the lime vinaigrette was so light. Huge salad for only $7 and then had a peach lemonade. Yummmmm. My husband had a 20 ingredient salad with balsamic and washed it all down with a flavored iced tea from the tea bar.
