If you don't care about pricing and you want a healthy meal this is the place for you. They have a huge range of different components to choose from and they all look and taste very fresh. It is almost too big so you are overwhelmed with the decisions but that is complaining on very high level - a good problem to have! You have three different sizes, the medium was is prenty of food for lunch though. I like that every ingredient has the individual calories written at the counter, so you can pick exactly how many calories you want in your salad. I have tried multiple combinations and so far I didn't have a single one that didn't taste well, so be adventurous and try something new next time you are there! The only downside I have for this place is how easily you accidentally pay a lot more than you assumed. It says that the biggest bowl is $8, but then as you pick your ingredients there are multiple things you have to pay extra for, especially the "good" stuff costs extra. I get that the protein costs extra, but I just do not think that the individual prices you pay extra are reasonable for the amount of stuff you get. So if you're not careful, you might easily pay more than you anticipated for your salad. The place is fresh, clean and has cool alternative drinks. The variety is amazing and you can't really go wrong. I first went Salata two weeks ago and have been there at least 4 times since. The food is good quality and delicious I love their dressings. The portion size is more than enough with great prices. I went one time and one of the girls remembered me the next. Every person working has amazing customer service, great personalities and are super nice! I will continue to come back!!!! read more

I like this place, like selecting my own base greens, like adding on my choice of the wide variety accompaniments, and selecting the dressing. All for one price, there is an extra charge to add proteins to your salad. The ice taps is an added bonus. read more

I thought my salad tasted fresh. Staff was very friendly. I just really didn't like the fact that I couldn't do it myself. I don't know if it's me being a control freak or what but I really do enjoy putting my own salad together. I get to always put exactly of how much of everything I want. yep fresh ingredients but $17 I expect my cob salad to have was, bacon amongst other things. i knew when I picked up my bag with two salads and there was hardly any weight to it that it was going to be a letdown. and it was. maybe one broken up slice of egg, possibly some small bits of bacon. not at all what one expects from a cob salad. read more

I was not happy to begin when they started to put bearly any toppings in my salad. I told them I'm new coming to here and they wouldn't even explain how the scoops work! I kept having to ask every topping is that a extra charge or what? Than when I ask questions they looked lost and couldn't answer my questions. Very annoying to have to be put in the dark and to let me figure out if they going to charge extra or not without telling me if it is or not. I love this chain in Texas. You choose between getting a small or large salad or a wrap. Then you walk down a spread veggies and proteins choosing what you want. They have a wide selection of veggies to choose from and everything is always fresh. The protein options are usually good, though I've had a few occasions where some of the chicken and salmon were dry. The team is very friendly and warm. The dressings are tasty, particularly the spicy chipotle ranch and the lemon vinaigrette. The soups are really good as well. Their tomato bisque is great. read more

This is a great new choice for the salad lover. The food is very fresh and tasty. Excellent quality ingredients served up by polite servers which keeps the serving line pristine and attractive. My only dislike is they pay no attention to the tables left by previous diners and on 2 visits I have been taken aback by dirty tables in need of cleaning. While the price may seen high to some the quality and freshness well overcomes any objections. I think it is a good value for the money. read more

Great concept and a good addition to the new center, which unfortunately features many unhealthful options (do we really need ANOTHER place to get a cheeseburger?) Lot of people eating here today, which is a good sign. The servers are super friendly and the options are fresh and a wide selection of ingredients. My only knock is that there are not many low calorie options on the dressings - most appeared to be at least 300 calories "per scoop". How much is a scoop? How much fat in each scoop? I think I'll bring my own dressing next time. I come to a place like this for healthful options and 300+ calories of fatty dressing simply isn't. read more

Awesome experience. $1 difference in small and large...invest that $1! You will have enough for 2 (or 3) meals. Lots to choose from. Different lettuces, tons of veggies, fruit, delicious proteins and a number of yummy toppers. This will become a regular stop for our family! Been anxiously awaiting the opening of a great salad bar in North Arlington and then waiting for the lunch crowds to lessen to where I could get in the door. Walked right in today to find a pleasant staff to greet me and to assemble the ingredients of my choice into a huge metal serving bowl. Just a couple of problems. 1. I don't necessarily want different salad tastes mingling so I keep them separate on my plate, and being thrown into the same bowl defeats that objective. 2. I recently returned to Texas for a visit . So I stop by one of my favorite places to get a salad and chill for the night ! I usually order my salad in a To--Go container ....... and don't desire to have my salad mixed due to my braces . Typically , I get a little push back which is somewhat understandable but I feel is not a difficult request . So a young lady on this particular occasion made a Big Deal concerning my request . Saying ,I could not get a salad unless I get it mixed . As stated before , I've had my salad prepared in a To-Go container numerous times . I asked this young lady to please refer to one of her colleagues. So bam! We have the container, in which the young lady sits to the side and proceeds with the White customer that was behind me. Now take , in mind this is the same young lady that I had a similar encounter with before. In which , I was placing my order and she stopped and proceeded to take the order of a white women. The food is fresh, the servers are nice . However , one young lady may need some Diversity training ! read more

Had my first experience with Salata recently and I was impressed. This is the Chipolte of salad bars. Lots of voices of greens and protein with even more choices of fresh veggies. The portions are large so you will get in all you veggies for the day. I could eat here every day! read more

Food was good. Too expensive without 2/1 coupon, so we'll wait for another before we return. One star deducted for the fact that they use cheap plastic ware for utensils (seriously?) and my fork broke just after I began eating. I had to dig through my nice messy salad to find the missing tine. Thanks heavens I noticed that; swallowing it would have meant a trip to the emergency room! One more star deducted for the fact that I let the company know about this and never received a reply. Solution: bring your own utensils? My first time visiting this location was yesterday and my salad of course was amazing (I expected nothing less!) I am giving 4 stars because since when did after the second scoop of dressing become 50 cents...? I bought a large salad ($9 + $3 chicken) and after two scoops i'm like hmm that doesn't look like enough and asked for a little more (I always get like 2.5-3 with a large salad) but then I was informed after the 2nd scoop it's 50 cents. At first I decided it wasn't worth it but then after the salad is done being mixed up it looked pretty dry as I was given a lot of romaine (again, a LARGE salad so duh!) so I went ahead and paid for another scoop. But after all of the times I've been to salata, I've *never* paid for the 3rd scoop. So does this mean small salads only receive 1 scoop? I always got two scoops when I used to get the small salads. Either way, I know it's only 50 cents but considering I'm already paying $13 for a salad, maybe this "new policy" (to me) should be revised to like after 3 scoops it's 50 cents (come on it's a large salad). Nonetheless I will continue coming to this Salata because it's close to me and the quality of my salad was still as expected. read more
