Chris coordinated all of my reservations and handled every detail seamlessly. They truly did not miss a beat. From the beautifully curated setup to the thoughtful touches--balloons, champagne, mimosas, strawberry lemonade, sparkling water, tea, and an incredible spread of light bites (charcuterie, vegetables, fruit, nuts, and strawberry shortcake)--everything was executed flawlessly. The experience felt incredibly exclusive, almost like I had the entire spa to myself and my guests. Antonio, the owner, greeted us personally and ensured we received white glove treatment from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. I genuinely felt like a queen celebrating such a special milestone. When I walked into the lounge and saw the setup, I was overwhelmed--in the best way. I actually cried. The robes, slippers, added seating, and overall décor were stunning. Every detail felt intentional and elevated. My massage with Brenda was phenomenal. She worked out tension I didn't even realize I was carrying, and her nurturing, calming energy made the experience even more special. I left feeling relaxed, cared for, and completely restored. I'll absolutely be booking with her again--and I'm already planning to return for a facial with Ruby. If you've ever considered celebrating your birthday--or any special occasion--this way, run, don't walk to Unwind Wellness. I would rate this experience a 1000 out of 10. You will be cared for, celebrated, and treated exceptionally well.

This place smells good from the outside before you even walk in. I felt relaxed the moment I walked in! We were greeted with a beautifully decorated sitting room overflowing with a delectable spread of a fruit and treats. My 60-minute massage was divine! I had Otelia and she has healing hands! I fell asleep at twice and didn't want to get up when it was over. The room was peaceful and serene, and the music was the perfect level. I highly recommend this place for all things!!

I first visited this establishment years ago -- before I was even on Yelp -- so I can't quite…read moreremember the exact location, but I do remember loving my experience. I actually took my best friend there for Christmas, and it was such a great time. It was so good that the following year I sent my mother-in-love for her birthday, and another year I surprised my wife with a visit for hers. They both had amazing things to say about their experiences. I'm definitely overdue for a return -- I can't wait to go back this year!

I haven't had a massage for a long time and decided to give this place a chance. I asked for a deep…read moretissue massage and paid for a deep tissue massage. The facility is lovely, wonderful ambiance. I went to a room that is for couples. I was disappointed that the massage was nothing like I've had before at other massage places. The man sat in a stool and applied a lot of oil, would slide his hands up and down my skin. Like a petting motion. The entire massage was like that. I didn't feel any different after the massage and found myself quite disappointed. I got an email from Origins reminding me to leave a review. I responded asking to speak to someone about my experience and after a week, no response. I proceeded to email the email address on the website and gave my feedback. No response after 3 weeks I didn't feel like that was a deep tissue massage. The gentleman was sitting on a chair for 90% of the massage. Maybe he had a long day already.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about my experience working with Melodie Edmundson, Director…read moreof Spa at Pendry. Over the past few weeks, she went above and beyond to help me secure a Valentine's Day reservation that I truly wanted. Despite availability challenges, Melodie was patient, responsive, and incredibly kind throughout the entire process. She followed up consistently, kept me informed, and ultimately made it happen -- which meant so much to me. Her warmth, professionalism, and genuine care are exactly what you hope for in a luxury hospitality experience. Before I even stepped into the spa, she had already made me feel valued as a guest. Thank you, Melodie, for your dedication and exceptional service. It truly made the experience special.

I had a great massage here a few months back!…read more I'm definitely a sucker for a massage - sometimes for a functional need, while other times more so for a treat. When I'm getting a "treat yo'self" massage, I'm looking for relaxation, ambiance and luxury. (When I just need a get'er done massage, I just need some hands!) The staff at Spa Pendry all seemed wonderful, but their amenities and relaxation areas were a little less cozy and relaxing that some of the other luxury hotel spas in DC. The massage itself was very heavy on the massage oil but the therapist was very concerned with needs being met and seemed to really care about the quality of the massage. Since there are excellent massage therapists at many spas, it's truly the amenities that wow me when I seek out a luxury and relaxation massage. Spa Pendry definitely checks many of those boxes!

Balian Springs - COLD, BUT OH SO GOOD!!

It was nice to seem to have the place to myself for a while before more people came in. This was also during the middle of the week, but by the time I left the spa was pretty packed. It's also cheaper during the week, and if you buy a student ticket. The facility is stunning, making you feel like you're in the tropics. The heated pools on the first level were the perfect start to the day. My muscles almost immediately felt looser and relaxed. The massagers were a nice touch as well, just the press of a button gets jets of water shooting at your back. They have smaller pools in the larger one with hotter temperatures, and there are 4 on the side along the wall as well with varying temperatures. I enjoyed all the saunas with their various health benefits. The bar offered different frozen CBD drinks and mocktails. Kelvin was the man! He made you feel right at home, and I like how you can sample the frozen drinks. I got the Mango Guava CBD water, which has the same amount of CBD as the frozen drinks for half the price. It was refreshing, delicious, all with zero sugar. For lunch, I ventured to the 2nd floor and ordered lemon pepper wings with a side of truffle fries. Of course there was an upcharge to get the truffle ones. It was nice and hot, and very filling. I enjoyed the aroma room, immersion room, and peeks my head in the multimedia room. There were also numerous areas to lounge and relax as well. The third floor was the rooftop bar and outdoor heated pools. If you're looking for a luxurious spa day, Balian Springs is the place to go.

Ive started to notice that people who like King's Spa dislike Balian Springs, and I am one of those…read morepeople. I like that King's Spa provided uniforms. At Balian Springs, you wear a "modest swimsuit" with an optional robe and they provide a towel as well that you carry between the spa. I think that the uniforms at Kings Spa keep things more sanitary. I also don't drink so the bar options at Balian Springs don't appeal to me. I did try the virgin sangria and it was a lot of sugar. The body scrub experiences are comparable. I have tried the Gold full body scrub and CBD full body scrub at King's Spa, and the K Scrub luxe at Balian springs. All three include the body scrub with an exfoliating glove, a wash, oil, massage and hair treatments if you want. The services are comparable in price between the two locations, ranging between $170-$220. Balian springs is definitely a larger spa space, and you can spread out, but there's pool right in the middle so naturally there's a lot more conversation. I prefer the quiet of King's spa, but at the end of the day, a spa is a luxury I hope more people can experience.
