Fire Roasted Cabo salad with tangy salsa ranch dressing (substituted tuna instead of chicken)
    Lisa S.

This location got a modern facelift and new management and I am in love. It's conveniently located in the Huntingdon Valley Shopping Center. I can't believe how much more seating there is now. It's just a really comfortable space and the colors on the wall are vibrant and welcoming. I ordered the Fire Roasted Cabo salad but substituted the chicken for tuna instead. The woman behind the counter making my salad was pleasant. She didn't skimp out on ingredients. There was a hefty amount of lettuce. She asked if I wanted a light, medium or heavy amount of dressing mixed in. I checked in when we were about to pay and an offer popped up for 10% off my order. It said I had to show an employee or manager at the location to redeem. I presented the offer and she told me it was valid for take-out orders only but she still honored it for me in store. Bathrooms were clean and fully stocked with soap, paper towels and toilet paper, too.

I ordered a salad and Buffalo chicken panini, some of the salad options looked like they were from the bottom of the barrel. The panini had 1 deli slice of chicken on it. For the pice they charge, there should be more than just a single piece of deli meat.

I stop at Saladworks often for lunch. I used to eat at this location previously and had a terrible experience. Ownership changed and so did the service and quality. The employees are wonderful and the salad was better then expected. This is a go to location.

Okay so first let me say that this is my 2nd time visiting Saladworks in my entire life ; and will more than likely be my last. The customer service and ambiance was great. Staff where polite and prompt, and the dinning area was clean and inviting. There was a good mix of music playing a little to loud for my comfort but not blasting. The food was okay. I had a custom salad. While it tasted okay there were something's that I couldn't over look. The grape (cherry) tomatoes where under ripe and therefore very bitter. The lettuce and spinach could have been fresher (11:30 am). Also I had bacon on my salad it was an addition I should have left off it was not only chewy and tough but added very little flavor to the actual salad. I had the strawberry lemonade drink (the one behind the counter) at first sip it tasted rather watery. How ever with a couple of stirs the taste improved. I'd would have liked my beverage and salad ingredients colder everything seemed room temperature. The bread was actually great soft and fresh. I did complete my entire meal. My three star rating is based off a combination of the amount I received, how well I enjoyed it and the cost. I've been to other salad places that are far cheaper and provide a fresher selection (Whole Foods or axis pizza to name a few). I'm slightly dissatisfied hence why I won't be visiting again the location it self did nothing wrong I'm just not a fan. But if you love salad and have the close to $20 to spend on a meal then this is a spot for you.

Love this place and appreciated that they didn't raid their prices too much since the cost of lettuce has gone up four fold!

It was one of the best Asian dishes I've EVER HAD!! I'm now obsessed! I even bought a jar of sauce in an Asian market to try at home! There was lots of very tender chicken, along with fresh vegetables in this rich coconutty, peanutty, fragrant, rich sauce. It was served along with a bowl of perfect sticky rice. I thought I'd take half home, but I couldn't stop eating my magic dish. When the chicken was gone, I made sure to add rice to the sauce to not waste a drop. It was THAT GOOD! I was too full for dessert, though they offered both American (chocolate peanut butter pie) & Thai desserts. The service was gracious & accommodating for our table of 10. The restaurant is rather typical in decor, but very clean. Highly recommend - I'm going back soon.

Their distribution channels are still rather meager, but Organon the health food store on Route 413, Wrightstown, PA, has a selection in their back room frozen foods department. I picked up the Vegetarian Vietnamese Pho and Roasted Butternut Squash to sample a couple of flavors I normally love. Each plastic package was 12 ounces, enough for one meal. Stovetop or microwave for a few minutes and recycle the sleeve container. I slurped the pho today after shoveling the heavy fresh wet white precip that fell from early this morning. While it lacked the rich spicy lemongrass base of long time pot simmered stock found in Pho 75 and other good VN restaurants, and the thick nest of noodles and fresh pinched Thai basil leaves, it was pretty good for what it was - healthy nearly instant soup with only wholesome ingredients. A squirt of Sriracha for an extra kick and it was bowl rim to lips; bottoms up! Who had time for a spoon? BowlFace! I'll be back here after trying the Butternut Squash, but wanted to review the Pho while it was still warming my stomach. My favorite soups are the Thai Butternut and the Vietnamese Vegetable Pho. The Thai Butternut warms you up on a cold day with the ginger. The Pho is full of mushrooms and herbs. I wish they were available all year around. The good thing about the packaging is that it freezes well! So I recommend stocking up on your seasonal favorites. Besides soup, they offer dips and macaroni and cheese. And most recently they have added salad dressing. So far I have only tried the Pickle Sriracha Dip but I have the Buffalo Cauliflower Dip in my fridge. The Pickle Dip was amazing, I can't wait to grab some more next time I'm at Organnons. If you like pickles, you'll love the Dip! I'm looking forward to Summer and trying more soups! You can check their website to see where you can buy locally. They are usually a vendor on Saturdays at the Wrightstown Farmer's Market. You can also find them at Organnons, Tanner's and I see them occasionally at GI Juice in Buckingham.

Our not-so-great experience may have been a result of the choices we made, but I'm unsure. When you first enter you are in front of a nicely stocked meat counter, loaded with different deli meats. To the left is a dining area with a sign stating "seat yourself". The place is a bit dated with a nice casual vibe. We were greeted by a server who gave us menus and took our drink orders. Service was top notch. When it came time to order I asked how the pastrami was. Server replied "the best". Ok I'll take a pastrami sandwich, my wife a corned beef. The server also asked if we wanted pickles and tomatoes which I said yes. She quickly brought a little bowl, which I chopped up and we enjoyed. The sandwiches came out and these things could've come from a school cafeteria honestly. A minimal amount of cold, sliced meat along with a small bag of chips was unimpressive. What happened to the warm, thick cut, juicy meat sandwich you could barely get your mouth around that we expected? We looked at each other thinking WTF? No sooner did we notice a sign on the wall "NY style, thick cut pastrami and corned beef NOW AVAILABLE" Now maybe we just don't want to accept responsibility but shouldn't the server have asked if that's what we wanted? Anyway we left hungry and saddened by our $48 experience. Def not worth it.
