What's killing me is that I was told that they had checked it the second time and I could see several cuts on the steak (that's crazy that the chef/cook had to figure out doneness that way). But one of the openings in the steak was clearly medium, which he later affirmed. So, I'm not sure what they checked before! The non-bloody parts of the steak did taste good, though. So, if you don't care about doneness, go for it. Also, they had weird plating on the steak. Go for the board or go for plates but this awkward plates on a cutting board means you delicately try to not knock anything off. Pro tip: scrape it all onto the board The calamari was tasty except the plate was half fried zucchini. Slick move to get $16 out of me for a tempura plate. Otherwise, service was pretty slow although the restaurant was maybe 1/4 occupied. I had my doubts since the spot a couple doors down had a one-hour wait. Should've trusted my gut.

Salad and Go in Rockwall has been a delightful addition to our dining options! We can't get enough of their fresh, delicious salads and more. We find ourselves ordering from Salad and Go at least three times a week. The quality of ingredients is outstanding, and the staff is incredibly friendly. What's even better is their affordability - the prices are fantastic. The service is both swift and courteous, making every visit a pleasant experience. Don't even get me started on their breakfast options; they're fantastic too!
