Sushi was very fresh, service was fast and efficient. Would definitely come back! The night moon was our favorite roll, but all were delicious.

Unfortunately, If I could give this place a 0 stars I would, we thought we would give this place a try and at least enjoy all or part of it. We are sushi lovers and have had been to some wonderful sushi spots near and far. This by far is the worst tasting sushi we have ever had. The sushi rolls had imitation everything in it...perhaps the cucumbers were actually fresh, but that's it. I ordered my husband a chicken teriyaki dinner with tempura, he's not a picky eater but even he gagged at one bite of his chicken. The tempura tasted like very old panko breading and DO NOT get me started on the old stale oil they used. It was really bad. We trashed our entire dinner in the garbage and made something fresh at home. Do not recommend!

Quiet, clean and fast sushi place. Great service, good food, the only thing I didn't like was that the inside kinda feels like a mall food court on the inside.

My wife and I managed to get a table without reservations on a Saturday night, just before the dinner rush, which was a great move. Everything was delicious, put most appealing was their sushi selection, particularly for me, their angel and rainbow rolls. I also tried some of their noodles but was too stuffed to finish it that night. However, the noodles were still good the next day so big thumbs up for that impression. The staff was super friendly & lively. I'm not the biggest fan of their seating arrangement though they seem to make it work. I'd come back just to try more of the specials menu!

Excellent way to kill an hour before hitting the spa down the block! Sushi was good, beer was cold, win-win

I'm really sad to see one of my favorite places go down hill. Our last visit was anything but plesant. I'm not sure if it has anything to do with this but the older gentlemen who is usually calling the shots was not present when we went. Our sushi was not as flavorful as it once was. I spent my entire pregnancy not eating sushi and I was so excited to return to my favorite place. We were the ONLY customers in the resturant from 4-5 on a Thursday night. And somehow we got the worst service imaginable. We were asked our main order and given the sushi and never spoke to again. My husband wanted more sake but we didn't see a waiter for the remainder of our time. One lady was sitting down counting up bills. It was like we were inconvincing them while they were trying to do nothing. We would have loved to order more rolls as we have done in the past but at that point I think we were just aggravated. We were not approached again until they came smiling with the bill. As we we're leaving a younger waitress was staring down at her phone and did not even say good bye to us. I'm not sure I have it in me to return. If I do not see the old manager (or owner ??) again then I am on the quest for a better sushi place.

Every single time I order it, I tell myself, "Okay, I'll just eat half." And every single time I fail because somehow the combination of their soft toasted bun, smoky tri-tip, salsa, and just the right amount of messiness makes you question why other sandwich places even exist. What really makes this place special though is that it still feels like an actual neighborhood butcher/deli. Hayley, the owner, is often behind the counter and genuinely knows the names and faces of regulars because there are THAT many repeat customers. They're also one of the best places around for holiday meats. Pro tip: order early for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Another great tip I got from one of their butchers was to pick your order up two days before you need it instead of fighting the crowds the day before. They've already allocated your order, so it's the exact same quality -- but way less stress and waiting. And honestly? Their holiday sides deserve their own review. When the red skin mashed potatoes come out for the holidays, I genuinely wonder why anyone makes mashed potatoes from scratch anymore. And the gravy? Dangerous. I literally order extra every year and freeze it in portions because it's too good to only eat once during the holidays.

The current chef has had it operational for five years. Tons of great parking, even up to the front door. It's tiny when you initially walk in with about eight tables, but they recently expanded next-door so it should open up. The ambience is relaxing with background music from Sinatra and other swooners. You really wanna settle in for some good long conversation here. Everything was immaculate. You could tell that they really take care to ensure cleanliness is first and foremost. The menu is easy to read and very reasonably priced. I asked for the daily special and the server, who had a great attitude and warm personality, shared they had a turkey and bacon club with basil pesto, tomato and other goodies on an in-house made focaccia. All of it is lightly toasted and warm when it arrives. I ordered it with a side of fries, but it also comes with a salad or soup. This amazing sandwich did not disappoint in any way. The ratio of meat to accompaniments to spread and bread were perfect. The bread was not too thick. The basil pesto was not excessive. The meat was perfectly toasted. The size of the sandwich is enough to fill any appetite from small to large. It was in fact the best sandwich I've had in years. Recall from my bio that I was a chef and I had a deli where I made sandwiches that were award-winning. I have to admit, I had nothing on my menu that could even come close to this delicious sandwich. It seems pretty simple to be able to put some meat and spread on a nice bread and heat it, but this went beyond simple. The flavor profile hit on all cylinders. I ordered the fries and they too were perfect. Hot and crispy with just enough garlic, and Parmesan to taste it, but not overwhelm it. I cannot say enough about this meal. Between the service, the delicious food, and the ambience, this is now my go to place for lunch. I urge you to take some time to get to the Stuffed Olive in Eagle Idaho and experience what this chef is doing for this community and it's starving foodies.

WILL BE CLOSING FOR GOOD ON JUNE 27, 2025. See owner's gracious farewell notice inserted below…read more If you want to bid farewell to Stuffed Olive you have another 3 weeks to do it. The good news in the sad news is that this will be turned over to a father / daughter team who will open a new concept here. The maybe not so good news is that in a community awash in chain restaurants on this side of Boise, I think the concept mentioned, Potholder Cafe, is a small California based chain. "To our dear Stuffed Olive Family: a heartfelt thank you to our incredible community. After 20 wonderful years, The Stuffed Olive is closing its doors on Friday, June 27th. This is a bittersweet moment for us. Running a restaurant like The Stuffed Olive has been our life's passion and our greatest joy; but it also has demanded everything we have and more. After pouring our hearts and souls into this beloved establishment for so many years, it's time for us to take a step back, to breathe, and to discover what's next. Most importantly, it's time for us to be truly present for ourselves and for our family. The Restaurant space is being handed over to a wonderful Father/Daughter team who are excited to start a new chapter in our space. They intend to bring their concept: The Potholder Cafe, a breakfast and lunch eatery into the Eagle dining scene. Alongside their new recipes will be some old favorites from the TSO menu. We're grateful that the legacy of TSO being a locally-owned, family-run space will continue with this new duo. Your unyielding support has meant the world to us, and we are so grateful for every laugh, every meal, and every memory shared within these walls. Thank you for making The Stuffed Olive more than just a restaurant. We will carry these moments with us forever. Cheers one last time, The Stuffed Olive Team

The thing that jumped out at me was the photo of the burger, now call me crazy but I think at this point I can look at a menu, photos of food and then the reviews to guide me. Yelp hasn't failed me yet! The first thing was walking in the door there were two hostess who smiled and greeted me. We were seated at the bar since there were just two of us. I ordered the Crave burger with bacon and my guest ordered the house salad with tortilla soup. Everything was excellent! The burger was juicy, flavorful, the bacon was perfectly crispy, Smokey and the white cheddar cheese was the perfect compliment! Now let's talk about the bun, I typically don't eat burger buns but this one was the exception to the rule. It was homemade obviously, buttery, light, and toasted to perfection. I ate both of them! Hahahaha! I felt so dirty typing that the French fries were crispy, just the right amount of salty and fluffy on the inside, crispy on the outside. My guest agrees with everything in this review. The house salad was fresh, the vinaigrette was homemade and delicious and the tortilla soup was even great! The ambience was a place you could have a business meeting or take your significant other on a date night. There is literally something for everyone on their crave-able menu ( see what I did there?) Service was immediate with a carafe of water and a huge smile. I loved the vibe! Ordered a German Hefeweizen that came cold and frothy. Next came the Greek salad with the most juicy, crisp tomatoes, green peppers and cucumbers, then heavily sprinkled with feta cheese, a pinch of capers, and a side of the best Greek dressing I've ever tasted. I was originally taken aback that there was no lettuce, but real Greek salad doesn't have lettuce! I had no idea. Hubby and I shared the Broiler Mix from the appetizer menu so we could sample multiple items. The Broiler mix has 2 chicken skewers, 2 beef skewers, 2 Kefta patties, 2 chorizo, 2 pitas, fries, tomato wedges and a healthy dollop of tzatziki. The pita tasted homemade; it was soft, thick without being too think and didn't taste chalky. The skewers were exceptionally cooked...tender, flavorful pieces of chicken and beef. The kefta (lamb & beef) patties had a nice texture, which was enhanced with the herbaceous tzatziki sauce. The only disappointment was the chorizo as it was overcooked and dry. It was easy to overlook as everything else was a shining star. We would go back in a heartbeat....totally made me want to explore more Greek food there!
