Went on a Friday at prime lunch time and no one was there so the guy took my order promptly. The restaurant is tiny and looks rundown. Like another reviewer I saw the A rating so I decided to go forward with ordering. I ordered the shrimp and steak combo. I know for certain that the shrimp was cooked to order because I watched him count out the number of shrimp. But the meat was overcooked. The portion is generous but the food is just okay. There was a kid picking his toes and touching the table where he was made to sit. Since they have an A grade on the door, I figured the kitchen area was clean. We ordered the super combo which was reasonably priced, it came with a drink. The chicken and beef was okay, the sauce was over baring and made all the meat taste the same. You get 5 shrimp, mine didn't taste fresh. The rice needed green onion or soy sauce because it is under seasoned. Well separated though, not bad. I was getting new tires down the street, so my bf and I decided to walk around and see what we could eat while we waited. We wondered into Sakura grill and were very intrigued. The menu is simple and straight forward. I'm a vegetarian and my boyfriend isn't, so we asked for the veggie hibachi as a combo and some edamame. Our food was ready within 15 minutes or so and we received quite a bit for $18+ 1 box was full of fried rice and the other with very flavorful sautéed vegetables. It also came with a miso soup, two egg rolls, and a lemonade which was watermelon flavored by request. The lemonade was something special and so were the vegetables. My usual complaint with vegetables bowls is there lack of seasoning or that they simply steam them and call it a day. These plates were in a simple sweet soy kind of sauce and had char marks from the hot wok. Soooo Good! The woman there was very sweet and talkative. After some conversion I learned this was a small family business run by the wife who took our order and the husband who made our food. Also, she gave us a ramekin of creamy pink sauce which she called "everything sauce" ugh amazing. Definitely a place I will be coming back to and recommending to friends and family. I've eaten here a couple times and every single time the food is extremely dry and overcooked. Why ask how you want your steak cooked if you're still going to overcook it. The chicken and steak taste and feel like rubber. Veggies are drenched in all of the water the zucchini releases. Rice has no flavor and prices have gone up. Last order I placed was a chicken hibachi plate and a steak hibachi plate. Ended up paying almost $30. Quality has gone down and prices have gone up. :-( read more

I think I've found a new place to go to for fresh, fast food! After scrolling through their Yelp page, I finally decided to go try Sakura Grill. I ordered the Hibachi Combo with chicken, steak, and shrimp and was impressed by the quantity and quality of food. The combo I ordered costed a total of $13.99 before tax and included an entire box of fried rice and a separate box with the teriyaki grilled chicken, steak, and shrimp. The combo also included a side salad and the option of spring rolls or cheese rangoons (I believe they have another name for it). They currently have a promotion that includes a free milk tea with every hibachi combo ordered. This single order could be split into 2-3 meals for me. The fried rice tasted similar to Panda's so it wasn't special, however, the proteins and vegetables were really good for a fast food restaurant! It wasn't under or over seasoned and they had a nice char flavor from the grill, which I personally like. I would definitely come back again! read more

I got the chicken hibachi with an order of spring rolls and it came out to $18. My girlfriend and I shared the huge portion of fried rice and the huge portion of chicken and vegetables and had a whole box of rice, veggies and some chicken left for the next day. Wait time: this is a mom-&-pop restaurant where the husband is the cook and the wife at the register. Plus everything is cooked to order so there will be a bit of wait. We waited 20 mins total on a Saturday afternoon 12pm. Food: I ordered the steak and chicken combo with fried rice while my wife ordered the steak and shrimp combo with chow mein (75 cents extra). EVERYTHING is cooked to order (fresh and not pre-cooked sitting around). They even asked how we wanted our diced steak. Even our fried rice and chow mein was cooked to order. We enjoyed everything and saved half for dinner due to the large portion size. They have a promo on certain menu item that comes with free milk tea, which is not loaded with sugar or artificial sugar. This place was amazing . The amount of food you get for what you pay is crazy ! And it's soooooo good ! They legit give you your hibachi stuff in one container and either your rice or chowmein in another full size container ! I bought 2 combos and got some rice from my moms combo to try it but substituted my own combo for chowmein so that's why my picture has both in it . But seriously this is my new favorite spot and the lady who attended us was the absolute sweetest ! She even gifted my sister and I some lemonade . 10/10 !! read more

4.5 stars. Good and quick hibachi pick-up spot. Portions are generous. Food is tasty and ingredients seem and taste fresh. I appreciate that they ask you how you like your beef done (e.g., well-done, medium, medium-rare, rare...) for the hibachi orders. Very friendly service, also appreciate their patience with questions, especially during this pandemic. Speaking of which, front-of-the-house staff uses masks (I do not know if other staff do or do not), they appear to observe safe distancing, there is a sheet of plexiglass for counter-service, and there is self-serve sanitizer on the counter. Like other vendors who still use styrofoam take-out boxes, I would love to see them use foil to line the styrofoam boxes to prevent some of the hot items melting the styrofoam on contact. Verdict: Almost great. Would be great (for the Planet and for me) with more environment-friendly take-out container alternatives. read more
