Plum wine
LaShawn G.

Walked here on 8/15/23 after getting my microlocs reties and I can say I was in a rush. Wasn't sure they was open m, but decided to give them a try since Yelp said they was. I went inside there was a slight smell nothing too foul but of like maybe the doors and windows needed to be open...stale air I would say. There was a couple of people behind the sushi bar and 2-other workers walking around the room. Mind you it was completely empty in there but them, me, and someone came to pick up and order. The female waitress took my order while the male sat down and proceeded to watch a show on his phone. I ordered the usual suspects: Philly roll, tuna roll, and I think yellowtail. I quite can't remember because I forgot to take pictures. But I also ordered plum wine. Food came out quickly as it should nobody was in there...and the waitress asked if I wanted to take my wine to go! I didn't even know they still was doing that! So I greatly obliged. Would I say this is the best sushi place I've eaten at...well no. But it definitely wasn't the worst. Just wish they would clean up a little bit and get that old stale smell out her business. If I'm in the area and have more time I will give them another try...let's see if the other items including the plum wine even better.

On the way home from an appointment my mom and I decided that we wanted to try something new so we chose Sake and this place did not disappoint. We you come in the tables in the dining area were a bit close together but we came in when they were just opened up so it was spacious enough. Now for the food we started with Bangkok Spring rolls Thai Ribs, and gyoza. They were all delicious however the Thai ribs were so good it was almost disrespectful lol. So for our next round we chose sushi my mom wanted to try octopus so our wonderful waitress suggested that she try the Spicy Squid salad it was so light and refreshing and tasty. For sushi we had the Alaska roll, spider roll and a spicy crab hand roll. When the sushi came out it was the perfect temperature and it tasted so fresh. Next we wanted to try their entrees my mom chose the Ton Katsu and I chose Basil Sauce with and asked for it to be spicy. Needless to say it was delicious and we had leftovers. The reheat was amazing! The service was great! If I were to describe Sake in four words it would be Fresh food Fast Service! Can't wait to try something new next time!

I can't say enough about this place everything I have had has been amazingly great. When my sisters are in town we always come to Sake.

Chicken Pho

Me and my friend came here the other day looking for some good pho, We ended up getting the crab rangoon's as an appetizer (which is our go to if it's on the menu) and they were amazing.. our pho came in large portions (which was also a plus) and very very good. The atmosphere/booths are SUPER CUTE for a date! Service was amazing, I wish we would've caught our waitresses name but she was super sweet. I know next time I want Pho I will definitely come here! I got the chicken pho, and she got the seafood pho.

This place is amazing. Great for lunch and dinner. Their sushi is amazing as well as their bento boxes, katsu, tempura and soup. My boyfriend and I love coming for lunch because it's convenient for us but is great for dinner too. It has a great romantic vibe with the pretty curtains at each booth. We come as often as we can, such a great place with great food and very kind people.

Great food and service. But I really love the atmosphere...it's about the only "romantic" restaurant in Stafford.

Ordered spring rolls as appetizer and they were served half frozen half fried, disgusting! Would never return. Food was mediocre at best.

The sushi selection was stellar for a buffet. Fresh sashimi and plenty of rolls to choose from, all tasting fresh and well made. The space itself is great and the service was solid and attentive. While the sushi rolls are a bit heavy on the rice, the quality and variety of rolls was very good. Along with a full menu which includes appetizers, soups, ramen and hibachi entrees there is quite a good amount of choices. If a group includes someone who isn't a fan of sushi, there are options for them. My wife and I both ordered a miso soup to start along with beverages and I also ordered a shrimp shu mai appetizer. We then stuck with the sushi which was available at the buffet. Since they state up front that they will charge for "wasted" food, the best recommendation is not to load up your plate but get a smaller number of things at a time and make multiple visits to the buffet. The variety of creative rolls impressed me as well as the quality. I was also impressed with how clean the restaurant was. While I did gaze briefly at the desserts, I didn't try any as I was full from trying the many of the sushi rolls available.

The restaurant is in a strip mall with other businesses including Bulgogi and across from Home Depot. The interior of the restaurant is spacious which is split in two, meaning there's two separate dining areas. One on the left is for larger parties and the one on the right sits in front of a gorgeous bar. I ordered 7 items: 1) Beef salad 2) Num tok salad 3) Hawaiian roll 4) Dancing eel roll 5) Pad see ew 6) Mango with sticky rice 7) Thai custard with sticky rice. When the first dish, beef salad arrived, the flavors were incredibly aromatic filled with heat and sweetness. Once it goes down your throat, it leaves an impression on your tongue. I wasn't able to put my chopsticks down until I clear the plate. The next dish was similar but a little different in texture - num tok salad. This one was with sliced pork but still filled umami. The next dish was unique, the Hawaiian roll which was stuffed with tempura coconut shrimp, cucumber, avocado, pineapple, topped with minced peanuts and drizzle with eel sauce. There's one other ingredient but I requested to be remove, the cream cheese. This item was very delicious and didn't require any dipping in soy sauce because it stood out on its own. The pad see ew, is a wide rice noodle that was exceptionally delicious. You can taste the smokiness from the wok. Another item was the dancing eel roll which was succulent and flavorful. The two desserts that I ordered were both traditional and a trademark. The fresh mango dish served with a coconut sweet sticky rice hit the spot as well as the Thai custard one. The custard was creamy, smooth and once incorporated, it brings a satisfying taste on your palate. I had impeccable service from my server Aim, she was very attentive, genuine, friendly and knowledgeable. When you get the chance, make a visit to this restaurant, under new management, explore the essence of the traditional cuisine of Thailand which showcases in their dishes. If you are not in the mood for Thai then you can also choose Japanese sushi rolls. I will definitely make a return visit to try other items on their menu.

Fxbg has a few spots for Japanese cuisine, all with their own perks, but I think Osan tops them with the perfectly rounded experience. We were seated very quickly on a chilly Saturday evening and started with edamame, miso soup, and hot tea. We had to leave room for the sushi boat for two (so fun!! always wanted to try this!) with wonderful choices of sushi and sashimi from the chefs. I wish we could customize the choices a bit as the fried roll didn't suit our preferences, but maybe they would accommodate if we had just asked! Also, the wasabi is very intense, more so than any other place I've had it. A little goes a long way! In short, everything was fresh and flavorful, a fantastic sushi experience. Would recommend :)

The layout is interesting -- there's an upstairs when you walk in, but the sushi bar and a good bit of seating are downstairs. The menu is pretty straightforward with a mix of hand rolls, appetizers, specialty rolls, nigiri/sashimi, and traditional rolls. They also have a few solid combo deals, though I usually prefer trying a variety of items instead. Service was quick, which is always appreciated at a sushi spot. We ordered a few specialty rolls, two traditional rolls, and a couple orders of sashimi, all served together on one platter. The rolls were a great size -- filling without being overly large. The sashimi was fresh, and the traditional rolls really balanced out the meal nicely. The flounder and tuna sashimi were both excellent, and the California roll made with real crab was simple, fresh, and really satisfying. The total came out somewhere in the $70 range, so after tip and splitting it between two people, it was about $40 each to try multiple rolls and sashimi. Definitely fair pricing for the quality and amount of food. This spot had been on my list for a while, so I'm glad I finally made it over. I'd recommend checking out the menu beforehand so you can go in with a game plan and try the items that stand out most to you.
