I went there for my sons birthday. I do understand that it was Father's Day and the lady at the cashier was nice enough to say "the servers will get to you when they can." My son and I waited for a good 20min before we were asked for our first order and drinks. We put in for a few rolls and appetizers. They all came out at different times, rolls were missing and while the food was pretty good itself, the consistency was definitely lacking. We both decided on one more roll each and more drinks, and waited and waited and waited. After about another 35 minutes wait a waitress asked if we were waiting on more rolls? I said we were but I would just like to cancel and leave, we've waited too long. She asked if we would like them boxed to go and again I declined. I was very aggravated at the fact that they were pushing the rolls that they knew were still not ready. I finally paid...$96 for 3 drinks (2 sodas for my son and a tea for me) and the "all you can eat". I would highly against going there. Just go to a nice sushi restaurant, it's not worth the gimmick they are trying to sell. If you do go, plan to order EVERYTHING on the first order or you may never see it. Good luck! read more

I found this place by accident when my friend and I planned to go to another restaurant in that area. When I saw all you can eat sushi I figured it would be decent food with a standard buffet style. I was pleasantly surprised when I discovered it was a sit down buffet with a full menu of choices. Everything from appetizers to soup and many different rolls are available to choose from. You order what you want, they make it fresh and bring it to you. Everything we ordered was good and some things were so good we had to get them twice. The service was outstanding. In fact at one point we had to ask them to slow down for a minute so we could catch up. :-) The Ambiance is nice. The price was a bit of a surprise. $35 a person at the time we went. Now to be fair I do not go to sit down sushi restaurants. Maybe that price is average for good quality made to order sushi. We decided to give it a try and after our meal my friend and I decided we will be coming back. It was an experience. My friend said it was a memory. We will go back on special occasions. They have a variety of sushi's and we loved a majority of them, we gravitated more towards the chico and sacramento roll. They had great service and were very attentive and kept the table very clean. I will say that we gave a 4/5 due to restrooms being unclean and we did get our orders mixed up with someone else's. But that is understandable since we went during dinner of their opening week. As a new restaurant serving sushi, this was a pretty good place to get all you can eat sushi (ayce). The fish tasted fresh, the rolls came out looking pretty good (for ayce) and the menu has plenty to offer. The service was a little off and could be better. Our server was really good and very kind. She did seem pretty busy and was hard to get her back, but she was willing to work with us and took great care of us when we didn't get a roll. The only issues we had were as follows: 1. Our rolls did not come out together, they didn't tell us what we ordered, and we were missing a few at the end which we never ended up getting. 2. It really looks like the old IHOP still, but that isn't a huge deal, just off putting for someone who has been there before. 3. We ended up having two servers taking our order and this ended up confusing us and then when we didn't know what we had gotten or what was left. So overall, I think this place is a great addition and what Chico really needed. We like the staff a lot and the food was great for ayce sushi. It needs work, but over time I can see this place being great and successful and will only grow and get better. Give it a try! read more

We ordered and got our food promptly with no problems. Michael was so sweet and accommodating to our needs, every time he would bring something new that we ordered he would kindly remind us that the kitchen was closing and offered us many times to get as much as we wanted before it closed, even bringing out extra stuff and giving us more options the whole time. He kept telling us it was no worries and he just wanted us to enjoy our food and take as much time as we needed. The food was amazing everyone loved every dish as it was all very fresh and delicious. Worst dining experience ever!!! Very disappointed this was our 3rd time and last time. Couldn't even feed my family of 5 within the hour, kids left still hungry. The wait was long for each roll, we had a total of 7 rolls and our other rolls we ordered never came. Our waitress magically disappeared, saw her a total of 2x and never again. Service was horrible, felt like they were ignoring and avoiding us, not making eye contact and walking fast past us. Was tempted to walk out many times. We didn't even get our check we had to walk to the front to pay the cashier. Don't waste your time and money here $130 down the drain and still have to go elsewhere to feed my family. read more

I would give 4 stars, but the issue was we put in orders that seemed to be forgotten over other order which were put in behind us causing a 1 hour wait for our Sushi order. This is an issue due to the menu stating each table only has 45 minutes to each. We were still charged full price for what we put in to which didn't really count as all you can eat because we only got to put in 1 order for sushi. The appetizers did come out swiftly. I can say the only way they tried to fix this issue was to apologize and let us take the order to go since we did wait over an hour for 1 order of sushi. Under this circumstance I don't believe being charged all you eat price should have been done. It is a good place, and will get better once they iron out all the wrinkles. read more

The 90 time limit kinda stresses me out due to the service being slow but over all was full at the end and Satisfied with the quality of food. The food here is amazing, for an all you can eat. Made fresh and not of a sushi boat. The service however is horrible. Twice I've been and both times the person I was with didn't get their food until after I was done, or the rest of the table was done. We had to order it multiple time ls and then the staff proceeded to get angry at us and started throwing our food down on the table as if we had done something wrong.
