They have done a good job on the remodel ! It's located across and towards the back of where Dennys used to be ( btw. Dennys is closed permanently). I ordered the chicken pho and the combination plate. The pho broth was tasty and the amount they give you is budget friendly! Plenty of chicken in the soup! The combination plate consisted of chicken and beef with pork and shrimp with their rice. SO much food! The beef was tender..chicken was nice and tender and shrimp was tasty. Rice was excellent! Love the extra Seasonings on the side! It's going to be a hit in Oroville because they have fresh food with reasonable prices! They also serve beer and wine. They have outdoor seating but it's not set up yet to eat outdoors. Very large inside with a casual flair. Great experience! Will definitely be back to try another dish! Ps. We had ordered 2 combo papaya salads for dine-in, and then promptly ordered 3 spicy and 1 mild to take to my cousin's afterwards. The pho broth was top notch, as well as the khao poon. The khao poon is customizable and you can add quail eggs, pork blood, etc. The tricolor dessert drink / navaam was also really good with a fun selection of jellies. Definitely worth the stop if you love Hmong / Lao / Southeast Asian cuisine.

I've been here so many times I can't count, but we went tonight & I decided I'd do a review! Everything was fresh, didn't take too long and the staff was friendly making sure we had water at all times, etc. My family is a big fan of the special plates as they are affordable and give a variety of items. The eggrolls were perfectly crisp and delicious! I would definitely recommend giving them a try if you haven't already, and hey maybe even try something new!

It was a cold day so my friend and I came in for lunch. She really wanted wor wonton soup! The beef in the wonton soup was a bit tough. The rest was really good and enough for 2 people to share ( plus leftovers ). It was slightly busier than last time but still relatively empty than how they used to be in the past. They are very quick in getting the food out!

I decided to pass on it and just got some steamed rice. They are never crowded in there which is unfortunate because their fried rice alone is delectable! The man that waited on me turned two people away because the dish they were going to order he said had very little beef in it. His attitude was a bit of a turn off. Maybe he was just having a bad day! I doubt i will be back when i am in the area. Hopefully if they bring their prices down they will have more customers to stay competitive!

It's a small, unassuming spot near Marshall's, but don't let that fool you--go in and order the food. It's so good. The owners are incredibly kind and genuinely want you to enjoy their food. We had a really nice conversation with the owner, which made the experience even better. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we'll definitely be back. I wish I had taken photos of our dishes. Next time, for sure!

I was hesitant to get anything because it didn't seem to be very clean but my boyfriend said to try it. I got the 2 entree with 1 side lunch special which was noodles with kung pao chicken and brocoli and beef. Very small portions stuffed into a small container. The beef was ok but only saw a couple pieces of chicken (mainly vegetables). The locals tell me it's been around a long time. Alot of takeout orders. Acceptable. The food selection & quality, presentation & overall taste was great & well worth the $34 price. The staff was friendly & attentive, Pleasant atmosphere & super organized & clean. We will definitely return in the future. Note: we stayed four nights at the KOA campground on the casino property & agreed that it was by far the nicest KOA anywhere in California. The pasta dishes tonight, including the Mac n cheese, all had no flavor and they used the large asparagus instead of the thin ones they normally have (I love the thin ones bc the thick ones are harder to eat).
