We visited on Saturday night for a drink before our meal, and although it was busy we managed to find a few seats in the back room. The bar is small but well stocked, with a good selection of spirits as well as plenty of beers, ales and ciders on tap. Lovely wine too, and very fair prices. They also have some delicious bar snacks - popcorn, pistachios and homemade sourdough pretzels! The decor is really eclectic - feels like you've walked into a 70s living rooms, with a mish mash of patterns, colours and styles and lots of artwork on the walls. Warm and cosy, with a busy hum of groups and couples chatting away. In the end, we came back later after our meal for a few more drinks, and they had two DJs playing vinyls on the decks. A posher version of Rusholme's Shisha cafe offerings is how I'd probably describe it. The Scene Indian kitchen shisha terrace probably gives it a run for its money but I think Reflexion wins out, just! The quality of the shisha is very good and despite it being a tad more expensive, given the waterside views is worthwhile. As well as Shisha they also have an extensive F&B menu although it's diffficult to see anyone venturing here for that alone if you're not into shisha. This place has definately given me more of a reason to explore what this locale has to offer.

Recently opened, the new restaurant is one of the few on First Street so it is quite easy to find. Obviously we took advantage of the January offer and judging by how busy it was on a Tuesday night, so did a lot of other people! Walking it the vibes were really good with great lounge music playing and people chatting away. The menu and drinks offerings seemed to be the same and prices very reasonable. We all knew what we wanted to have anyway- our favourite burger or pizzas! We started with a sharing platter which would probably suit 2 people more than 4, but everything on the board was cooked perfectly. We especially liked the spicy mayonaise as it had a good kick to it. I really liked the burger- big thick and juicy with accompaniments to match and we ordered 1more mac and cheese to share halfway through our meal cos we couldn't get enough of it!
