I've walked past this place loads of times and never thought to go in... I didn't know what I was missing out on! Such a quirky little bar in the heart of Chorlton, great atmosphere and reasonable prices.
We visited on Saturday night for a drink before our meal, and although it was busy we managed to find a few seats in the back room. The bar is small but well stocked, with a good selection of spirits as well as plenty of beers, ales and ciders on tap. Lovely wine too, and very fair prices. They also have some delicious bar snacks - popcorn, pistachios and homemade sourdough pretzels!
The decor is really eclectic - feels like you've walked into a 70s living rooms, with a mish mash of patterns, colours and styles and lots of artwork on the walls. Warm and cosy, with a busy hum of groups and couples chatting away.
In the end, we came back later after our meal for a few more drinks, and they had two DJs playing vinyls on the decks. It wasn't sing-and-dance along kind of music, but it had everyone in good spirits.
Great little find and look forward to visiting again soon. read more
