I come from of place of trauma when it comes to having my hair dyed or cut; I have curly hair and have had my share of terrible experiences from hair falling out a result of over processing and cuts that left my hair shapeless and short. A lack of knowledge on the shrinkage can ruin any curly haircut ‍ Michael knew how to manage my hair as well as color correct issues from previous colorings. He added the right amount of lightness to make my curls more defined and blend it so it looks like a soft caramel mixture, no hard stripes. I forced Michael to blow it out so we could see the length and the honey color & layers are beautiful Love my hair thanks to Michael and his magic

I will follow Michael Minucci to the ends of the earth...and I'm super stoked he landed at this salon. All women owned!!!!!! The aesthetic of this place is like a 1990 Courtney Love video-and everyone has a rock and roll vibe that works there as well. They have a nail technician in the back. And Theresa who brings cappuccinos upon request. I'm going grey and today we matched the bottom of my hair to my actual roots since I don't want to use color anymore. And did a cute ass bob. While I was waiting everyone was engaged in conversation. It really is the coolest spot he's landed. I definitely recommend Minucci always, but this salon is also 5 stars!!!!

What can I say? I asked for full balayage with copper tones and ended up with five orange highlights, an orange "money piece," and a very choppy, misaligned trim. The vibe of this place is great and everyone is so nice, but the end result for spending over $300 needs improvement. I wanted to like my cut and color so much and thought that I would "get used to it," but within three hours of leaving, I couldn't live with the orange hair they gave me. It looked okay in the salon (after several attempts by the stylist to tone it down), but in the sunlight - my hair looked anything but the natural look I requested. Think Hayley Williams from Paramore orange. The following morning, I had my hair corrected at another salon 20 minutes North of Saints-n-Scissors because I was scared of trusting this salon again given the results thus far. The stylist at the other salon had to do extensive damage control to get my hair in a presentable state again, including evening out the layers and trying to tone down the bright orange pieces to create a base to give me the balayage I asked for. Before I left, the stylist even pulled me aside at checkout to say, "if you haven't gotten a refund, do so. Go there now because what they did to your hair is horrible." I requested a refund from Saints-n-Scissors that day. However, the manager mentioned they put a clause on all their customer-facing documents (website, receipts, etc.) saying they do not issue refunds, but will redo any service instead because they "receive these requests a lot." If I owned a salon, I wouldn't admit that clients often ask for refunds, but I digress. I told her my hair looked nothing like what I had asked for and she agreed, but said, "I think it looks nice, though." It may look "nice" to her, but the service wasn't what I asked for. When asked why I didn't call to schedule an appointment to fix my hair, I said I didn't feel comfortable letting this salon touch my hair again to which she replied, "that is your prerogative." It is also my prerogative to tell others to beware of this salon. I am out $900 ($300 for the "service" at Saints-n-Scissors and $600 for color correction to fix what this salon did to my hair elsewhere). If you are thinking of requesting natural balayage here, please consider exploring other salons in the area.

after hours of searching for a hair salon that was my vibe, i landed on saints n scissors as the cheapest and best option. well, i was completely right. they set me up with carlos o. and he couldnt be any better. i had ruined my hair cutting it myself (first picture) after being frustrated that no salon had given me what i wanted! not only did they help me with my dry hair, but they were able to give me exactly what i asked for. i could not recommend this place more. it was definitely worth the hour drive.

So glad I finally visited this amazing family owned salon! My stylist Sasha was such a great fit for me and gave me a beautiful color (we called it Pumkin Spice) and cut. It was a casual vibe with delightful surroundings, offering art and had great gothic decor including a beautiful black velvet chair perfect for selfies after a fun appointment. Amy the owner and her Mom and sister all work there and I will definitely be back!

Hair ruined. After doing a big chop in August because my hair fell out due to the stress of my mom's sudden passing. I waited and was excited to get my hair colored and styled. The stylist (Sasha) who did my hair assured me she had experience doing ethnic hair. Well, that was not true. You can see from the pics how dry and brittles my hair was. I also had a chemical burn on my neck from the bleach(still have a scar too) I paid just shy of $500 for someone to destroy my hair that I spent months growing out and saving for. On the second day I went back to get it styled, I had to bring my own styling products and tools. I literally was telling Sasha how to blow out, part and style my hair. It was so embarrassing but I didn't have a choice because I had to pay the first day before I left, wet hair and not styled. The owners did agree my hair was over processed and damaged and I went a 3rd time for treatment and restyled but the damage was done and irreversible. I asked for at least some of my money back to reimburse me for my hair cut and braids but they refused. I'm devastated and hurt. Today, I'm going to cut the top, I just cannot even explain how hurt I am.

Courteous and funny staff but not inexpensive. I've had mostly good haircuts but a few of the stylists are not proficient with men's hair.

I had a very disappointing experience at what is considered a high-end salon…read more Before booking my first appointment, I sent photos of my current hair and inspiration pictures to the stylist. I have an AirTouch technique in my hair, and since the salon does not offer AirTouch services, I wanted to confirm in advance that we could achieve a similar look using balayage or highlights. I was assured we could proceed. At the appointment, I waited a bit (which I understand happens in Miami). Once seated, the stylist examined my hair carefully and suggested doing a half head of highlights first to see how my fine, chemically damaged hair would react. I appreciated the caution and explained my previous negative experience with another stylist. When I left the salon, I was happy. The result wasn't identical to my inspiration photos, but I felt good about it. However, after washing my hair once, I noticed obvious orange foil spots and poorly blended areas near my ears. I immediately contacted the salon, and to their credit, they accommodated me the next day for a correction. Unfortunately, the solution offered was to darken my roots to cover the orange spots. This left me questioning why I paid $450 to lighten my roots, only to have them darkened again. Now, just a little over two weeks later, my hair already looks grown out because of the darker roots. For the price point and reputation of this salon, I expected better execution and a longer-lasting result. I truly wanted to love the experience, but overall, I'm very disappointed.
