I felt informed and prepared before ever stepping foot in the studio. Speaking of the studio, it is clean, organized, and comfortable. Literally everything was sanitized AND clean (there is a difference!) The chair you sit in is covered with a disposable cover (not crunchy paper). Everyone is wearing masks and gloves AND gloves are changed after touching things like phones. My temperature was checked upon entry and there is someone at the door to ensure no one can just walk in. Overall I'm a picky and critical person and I was EXTREMELY impressed with every aspect of my microblading session I mentioned booking my second session before even seeing my results bc I just knew I was in good hands!

I am a recent transplant to Chicago (NY and LA) and have been on the search for a good eyelash place and after many failed attempts have finally found my person in Elle at The Living Room Beauty + Bar and cannot be happier!! Her studio is clean and chic, she is very thorough with her consultation, application and follow up. She applies each lash with SUCH precision that I was floored. Really takes her time to design a shape that best fits your face as well. She also is very professional (doesn't check her phone during application, isn't all over your face) and sanitizes everything which was a huge plus for me. AND to say the least, my lashes are GORGEOUS. Her prices are very reasonable. I've been to other places that charge an arm and a leg and my lashes looked horrible and they are rushing you out. I also am very particular as I have been doing lashes for 3+ years now and have been to the best places in both LA and NY so trust me when I say, Elle is excellent.
