It was my first time getting a lash lift, and I'll admit that during the process I truly wondered if it was worth it haha. The process is uncomfortable but the results are amazing. Now that I know how good it is I can't go back to the way my eyes used to be lol. I don't even need makeup in the morning! Her place is small, but clean, organized and cozy. Safety and cleanliness was a big concern for me and I wasn't disappointed. I heard her washing her hands frequently after touching things so I didn't feel skeezed out. I'll be back in when I need a new lift!

I am a recent transplant to Chicago (NY and LA) and have been on the search for a good eyelash place and after many failed attempts have finally found my person in Elle at The Living Room Beauty + Bar and cannot be happier!! Her studio is clean and chic, she is very thorough with her consultation, application and follow up. She applies each lash with SUCH precision that I was floored. Really takes her time to design a shape that best fits your face as well. She also is very professional (doesn't check her phone during application, isn't all over your face) and sanitizes everything which was a huge plus for me. AND to say the least, my lashes are GORGEOUS. Her prices are very reasonable. I've been to other places that charge an arm and a leg and my lashes looked horrible and they are rushing you out. I also am very particular as I have been doing lashes for 3+ years now and have been to the best places in both LA and NY so trust me when I say, Elle is excellent. She wipes your face with a moist and scented towelette, after waxing, gives you a light massage on your brows and temples, and then puts cold towels on your face to help with the redness. If that's not top notch eyebrow service... idk what is! As for the location it's a super cute "studio" style two story loft. There's an adjoined salon on the first floor which I believe operates separately. It is a little difficult to find, but when you find the building it is the last place on the the far left.
