My hair: Finding someone whose good at doing blonde hair in Miami has been a challenge. When I called and explained this and how picky I am they assured me I was in the right hands. My appointment was with Roshi. Ladies and gents if you're looking for a perfect blonde and a stylist who give you EXACTLY what you're looking for, then Roshi is your girl. My hair is finally perfect. Always have a great experience when I go to this hair salon! I have been twice for a blow out and they do not disappoint. Making an appointment online is very easy or you can call. I showed up on time and was shown my chair and met my stylist. They offered me a beverage and since it was my birthday I was thinking Prosecco (let's celebrate!), but they were all out of wine (cries inside). They offered me some sparking water instead which was fine. Kayla, my stylist was super nice and chatted away as she started on my hair. Just went to Rachel for the first time at this salon and love my cut. I used to go to IGK but my stylist left so tried this one at on referral from a friend. I came on a Sunday so it was completely empty. I'm not familiar with hair cutting tools or techniques but Rachel used a razor and talked about the benefits of using that tool and using it the right way. $300+ down the drain! Called to reschedule to fix my hair, even texted them like they suggested, and was ghosted. Refund? Heading to a new salon right now, I hope you do too. The bad: First and foremost, the mask goes over your nose. As per my hair. Like most people, they realize that the salon overstyle their hair before leaving, but after a few washes, it doesn't hold up. Or it gets lop-sided or uneven. Normal salons with integrity would fix this, right? Upon coming in for the first time, I kept repeating I have "Asian hair" (can google that easily to learn about the kinks of the hair, as well as horror stories of it being cut by people who don't understand it). The hairdresser, though sweet and seemingly competent, didn't feel my hair for the kinks of it at all. I pointed it out that there are some parts that get puffier than others. I kept saying "It gets thick in the summer, I want it less thick." Bypassed, dismissed. I wanted an A-line bob cut, and I've had many in my whole life, but it was essentially treated like a bowl cut. Not much thought on the layering, the framing of my face, or the volume to make the back of my head less flat- just eyeballing at an angle, cutting it across at the bottom, then going in with light razor blades. I felt like it was a 10-min Hair Cuttery decision, and the majority of the time was spent on highlighting. I thought that maybe after highlighting, she'll give me the haircut I wanted but no... There are no shapes at all to the back of my head (because it wasn't accounted for during the cut). Now my head just looks like a lop-sided triangle with puffy ends?? Sad part is, it doesn't even look like an a-line bob, just a bowl cut. The good: The highlighting: I can say the hair stylist did a good job even though there's a blob of blond on one side. It didn't come out orange on my black hair, so that's great. I wanted to give her the benefit of a doubt that she could fix the cut because my hair might be different. But there isn't a chance for her to fix it, so the admin of this salon dropped the ball. I hope they don't blame her. I should've gone with my 1st choice salon. I regret coming here. On the phone, the man said to text him instead. I did immediately after hanging up. And no response after 36 hours. Lack of integrity. Don't be short changed. Head over to a new salon. read more

I went for a simple trim with Dominique and left with several inches taken and so uneven that I needed a family member to fix it right away and will also need to go somewhere tomorrow to make it look professional since there is no way of going to work like this. I tried getting a last minute appointment at my salon and they were booked, so I called this salon as they were closing. I wanted to come in at opening, so they said they would try to get me in and call me back. The entrenan I spoke through, went above and beyond to get me in, even texted me the next morning at 8am to confirm. That's when I met with Alina, and she gave me the best haircut I've had in a while. She took her time, asked what I wanted and she gave me her input, she def knew what she was talking about so I trusted her and boom! Awesome haircut. They also do nails and wax, so I also got a gel manicure that I loved. All around great place with good customer service. Cut and blow was $70 and gel mani was $30. A lot cheaper than other places.
