I'm not sure why you bothered to reply to this review and add incorrect points that I already stated in our Google Maps review dialogue. Like I stated previously, - Management was not involved whatsoever and not even on duty. The front desk attempted to send me off and said I would receive a call. I had to push back on this, so she called back and you/management instructed for a head stylist to come and discuss with me. I had to wait until he finished someone's hair, and the man in question is quite literally in the background of one of the pictures doing someone's hair. - Stating I was offered an appointment with another head stylist is a flat out lie and gross of you to continue to try and establish when I already stated this on Google which you definitely saw. I was offered an appointment with Jesus, who was very kind, but not a senior stylist. I quite literally have a screenshot of the text message where you guys texted ME confirming the appointment with Jesus. I will now be adding this to Yelp as well since you're determined to fabricate. Not only is he the most affordable stylist on your website, but when I asked him if Laura was the only blonde specialist, he said yes. If your blonde specialist can't even handle basic blonde coloring, why would I trust a novice stylist at your salon. Your continued intent to lie is not only a poor demonstration of your integrity as a person but on your business especially. I firmly believe most of your google reviews are paid for, and this is just a poor attempt of damage control to maintain the facade. When I texted stating that I was uncomfortable coming back, I didn't even receive a response. You label yourself a luxury salon while failing to deliver what qualifies as luxury, whether that be in customer service or the actual service. If you're reading this review, there are PLENTY of other salons in this area that are not only deserving of your money but not a RISK in damaging your hair and wasting your money. read more

My friend recommended this salon to me after complaining to her I lost my current girl to these tariffs times because she moved away. As a curly haired babe who also dyes her hair regularly, I really vet my stylists because I do not have time to go to one salon for one service and another for let's say a curly cut. Here I am able to do my cut, style, and dye job. I was so happy with Zuly's work. She is a bit of a resident red expert. I am so happy that I sat in her chair last week. She was very bubbly and even accommodated my last minute request for a blow out (something you have to add at the time of your booking-which I didn't know.) The salon is ala carte, which is helpful to understand when booking. I got a quick consult with the Curly cut expert, and I will be back for that next month along with a gloss, because Zuly told me it would make my color last longer. (Bless stylist who give good tips!) I was there for a couple hours while she worked on my hair and during that time I was offered coffee, water, tea, etc. Which is a nice touch. read more

I've been a client of salon Ethos for a little over a year now. Ever since I began I've been with colorist and hairdresser Jessica. She has a phenomenal way with color. She is the only stylist that I've had in the last 15 years as a blonde that has found the right formula so my hair has no brassiness. I think this is what we all for when we look for a colorist and I wouldn't trade her for the world. She's savy, attentive and very patient. There are some other perks to salon ethos you're always welcome with a smile at the front desk and they offer you a variety of hot or cold drinks while you're there. As a curly girl it can be so challenging to find a stylist who treats your curls with the tender love and care they need, but that is what I found at ethos! From start to finish it was great. Scheduling the appointment was easy online, easy to find and the main event great! I rescheduled for a week later, show up for my appointment and ended up sitting in the lobby waiting 30 minutes past the scheduled time with no one doing anything. Eventually I had to cancel since I had other appointments and responsibilities scheduled. If you're a professional don't waste your time, they could care less about your schedule - only theirs. I appreciate the service but when a "specialist" tells me they won't cut your hair a certain why because they think it won't look good is insane. Average at best. Came in for highlights and a haircut both were meh. While haircut I could live with, highlights were yellow tho I specifically asked for "icy / cold" blonde tones and showed a tone of photos of my own hair with the color I wanted. They did apologize and offer to re-do highlights but the hair was already quite damaged after first processing so did not want to take more risks. What's interesting is that there was a girl next to me getting "toned" by the same stylist and she was very unhappy as well. Color came out a lot more red then the darker color she was looking for. This salon is in my neighborhood and they were able to accommodate me to come in for a quick trim. Gregg was my hair stylist. He's very friendly and warm-hearted. He listened to my needs and cut just the right amount off. The lady that did my shampoo did a fantastic job as well. So relaxing. I didn't want to leave the bowl. I could of gotten my scalp massaged there for an hour if they offered it. Gregg then blow dried my hair and put some body in it using the curling iron. My hair felt and looked fabulous! I was recommended to this salon by Christa, who's hair is always perfect. She recommended me to see Bryan, and upon booking, he was fully booked for the next 2 months. My hair was an absolute mess. The lady helping me with booking (Laura) was amazing. I told her how I preferred to come sooner and she asked for pictures of my hair, and was able to pair me with a stylist who she thought would be a great fit. My hair is a project, so it's not a simple job. She paired me with Yanin, and After 5 minutes in her chair, I already knew I was in good hands. She was very knowledgeable and told me exactly the plan she had for my hair. She Also didn't rush when the salon was about to close and stayed after salon hours to finish my hair. HORRIBLE.... Do not get your hair done by TAARON. Not only did he not check to see if he had an apt waiting then hid in the back. My blowout is complete CRAP!!!!
