The management at this place is absolutely horrible . I used to come all the time when I am in town from New York, Whoever the owner is is doing a terrible job. None of the stylists I used to go to for my Hair are available because they all left. Iwent to their new location and it's not as great, the sinks are uncomfortable and the location is very inconvenient . The manager is an entitled asshole, and the guy I went to, didn't even seem happy to work there (must be another management problem) . I don't just trust anybody with my hair. The old location had better hairstylist and they're all gone. do not recommend this salon and I won't be going back. read more

Stay away from this salon. Their good stylists have left, and what should've been a simple haircut and color turned into a complete disaster. To make it worse, they tried to charge me twice the original price to fix their own mistake. They had initially agreed to cover my Uber from Brickell to Bay Harbor but went back on their word after I paid $515 for the correction that I had to make compromise for. My simple blonde single process turned out ORANGE-FUCHSIA! My colorist and I agreed on a blonde to slightly match my graying hair and she mixed the color & applied it INCORRECTLY - TWICE in the same day! The 1st time she wouldn't let me see a mirror in an effort to hide her mistake. She kept adding toner & made it worse! Not even close to any shade of blonde. Customers & stylists were staring at my hair with shocked and/or awkward looks on their faces! My colorist was panicking, calling the AVEDA rep for help. My colorist demanded I not leave the salon w/my hair that awful color but I was already late getting my child at school. After her 2 failed attempts I declined her offer. My child was waiting for me which upset me even more. Since I could not walk town around w/this gross color error, LAHH's mistakes ended up COSTING me major $500 (with grat) for a same-day appointment for CORRECTIVE COLOR. My long blonde hair color & smooth condition is STILL not quite back to what it had been - some of my hair is still remains the corrected color. It had taken years to get my hair very long - I'd gone to the best salons on NY, NJ & Miami to take good care of my long blonde highlighted hair, and bc of a LAHH colorist I had to compromise with a head FULL of corrected color - the best the experienced colorists (at Red Market Salon, Bal Harbour Shops) could do w/what she was given. I was literally in tears. Two colorists went to work on my hair, giving it 100%. The Red Market Salon colorists were very professional & kind. At LAHH the color mistake was extremely amateurish - a colorist not knowing how to use the AVEDA products in her salon. (It appears LAHH is no longer an AVEDA salon.) No one from the salon ever contacted me about the mistake - about the obvious orange-fuchsia hair color mistake. read more

I recently moved to Bal Harbour and needed a haircut. I found LAHH Salon through a Google Search and saw that they had 5 stars. I booked with the owner Emily, and have been getting weekly blowouts, color, & cuts ever since. I also wanted to say that when the salon opened back up after quarantine, I immediately went in for services. The ladies were so upbeat and made me feel so special after being alone in my home for two months. In addition to making me beautiful and lifting my spirits, I saw that the salon was immaculately clean and constantly being sterilized. Masks are mandatory and temperatures are taken upon entrance. I feel so safe here, as they're adhering to all CDC social distancing guidelines, and then some. The stylists here really know their craft, from cuts, blowouts, color, color color correction and extensions. When I came to them I had a head full of dull, dry black box dyed hair, most people will tell you there is no other way to go lighter from this situation other than to grow it out or cut it. I'm 50 years old and the black just was too harsh for me and I wanted to lighten up my look. What they did was nothing short of miraculous! I did not lose one inch of my hair in the process other than a brilliant adjustment to my layers on top which resulted in my hair actually being much better suited to my facial contours. In the past, when stylists have used any sort of bleach on my hair, even virgin hair, my fine hair became stretchy and melty. Not at Lahh, they know all the tricks to add to the hair before the bleaching begins to keep it strong and healthy! Seems like they have every secret special product on hand to guarantee the health and integrity of any type of hair! I went from box black to a beautiful balayage levels 7,8 and 9. My husband keeps telling me how stunning I look and let me tell you, I feel like they took 10 years of aging off of me with this makeover! I even get stopped walking down the street by women asking me where I got my hair done! I was so happy with the results that I went in again for some extensions because I wanted to take it up another notch. They transformed me yet again and now I look like a completely different person from the girl in the mirror a month ago. I had my choice of every type of extension available on the market- they do tape-ins, keratin tips, I tips, and sew in wefts. After consulting with them about my hair texture and the look I was aiming for, they nailed it! I ended up with a combination of tape-ins and one row of sew in wefts. I now have my dream Mermaid hair ‍ Gediz was the one who did the color, cut and extensions, he's amazing, but I have to say, I've seen all of the stylists there while I was in the chair (long hours for all I've had done) and every single client ends up walking out looking like they are ready for The Academy Awards! I cannot say enough about their expertise, personal tailored approach and making miracles happen! It was $95 for single process root touch up plus tax and tip. The cappuccino with almond milk was delicious. The only reason I didn't rate it five stars so that the floors looked like they needed some light sweeping or a new paint job for the rates charged but I was happy with the outcome and service. read more
