My friend had used their services already a number of times and said that it was definitely the best place for having the nails done. I got all excited at first. Then, I got worried that they'd not have time to take me given that I wanted to have an appointment ASAP but didn't want to do it during the day (because day time is the beach time). I was happy to hear that the studio's owner, Katherine, was able to accommodate my schedule! In fact, she told me that I could come on the same day even though it was already well after 6pm. An hour later I was on my way to this nail studio. It is located among other mini beauty studios at the ground floor of an office building. They have a separate entrance at the front. When you come in, you need to walk straight and find the suite with a number 18 on it. The place is cosy but with lots of light. I liked the fact that they have new furniture, so it doesn't look dated. I was also pleasantly surprised that everything looked very clean and safe. When I came in, Katherine was waiting for me with everything ready to get started. She did the manicure first and then proceeded to the pedicure. I didn't feel rushed at any point - it really surprised me given that we started at 7:30pm! (Usually other places would make you feel guilty for coming in so late and forcing them to stay beyond their normal business hours.) A few minutes into the manicure, Katherine offered me some hot tea, which made me feel like I was a welcomed guest. The manicure and pedicure were very thorough. I was amazed how attentive and calm this lady was. She was also very friendly and eager to chat. Time passed pretty quickly and 2.5 hours later I was ready to go. The payment was a breeze too. Initially, I was worried it was a cash-only place but no, they do accept credit cards! Overall, it was such a great experience that I felt sad that I don't have a place like this where I live. Will definitely come back when I'm in Miami area :)

I tried gel mani's for years but the polish would start to peel after 9 days due to my nail bed. Each gel mani was $40. Until I found High 5, they import their products from Europe and use a different kind of gel base. My mani now cost 75 but it lasts a month or longer, no chips or breaking. These are the longest my nails have ever been.

It's supposed to be a relaxing place, not somewhere to listen to their drama. I won't be returning.

I was very nervous to get my hair cut here in Miami (I moved here from the UK less than a year ago) as my housemate had an awful experience with the first salon that she visited, however after searching for a deal and researching different salons I settled on Saints-N-Scissors. The receptionist Kimberly was very friendly when I phoned and found an appointment for exactly when I wanted it. Ameneh was my stylist, and I was really impressed by her - told her I'd been thinking of a long bob, as I didnt want anything too short but was bored with my long hair which always has to be tied back for work. She instantly knew exactly what to do, dry cut my hair before the wash and deep conditioning treatment, and then styled it some more and gave me a fantastic blow dry. Her confidence in styling, and knowing what would suit me, really put me at ease (when stylists want to see photos of exactly what you want without offering suggestions for what they think would suit you best it worries me). She even suggested changing my parting, from a deep side part back to a centre parting which I haven't worn in about a decade, and I really love how it changes the style to frame my face. For this first visit I used a Groupon ($39 for a haircut, deep conditioning treatment and blow dry) however I will definitely return for Ameneh to keep this new style and do not think the salon is expensive when compared to the level of expertise and the prices of most other salons in Miami. read more

I recently took my 10 year old granddaughter to Saints N Scissors for a hair cut (after she had taken it upon herself to try and cut her own hair and bangs!) I thought I would never find anyone that could fix the awful cut she gave herself. Amy took such good care of her, not only did she do an amazing job with her haircut ,but she even gave her two tape in extensions!(complimentary!!) I loved seeing my granddaughters happy face and engaging in conversation with Amy. She fell involve with her and the rest of the SnS staff! I purchased a pair of hand painted leather converse, made by the talented Lauren Miller! to my surprise, the pair was my granddaughters size! we were so happy! Saints is INCREDIBLE!! I have been getting my nails and hair here for two years, going onto three and more! The service here is impeccable, everyone is soooo kind and sweet Alanna at the front desk, Lauren, Amy, Shelley, Ricky, Val, Hannah, Teresa, Carlos, and now their new nail artist, Laima, she is just WOW WOW WOW! They have such attention to detail, they ask if you want water or any refreshments, and everyone passes by to say hello! They love conversation which is something that matters a lot to me, and they love to listen and hang out! I get a gel pedi every time I go and I look and feel incredible every time. I have been coming here for a long time and always had a good experience. Today, I had an…read moreappointment for 11:30am and they called me at 11:20am to let me know the hair stylist was running about one hour behind ( I was already outside the Salon). I literally needed a 15min hair cut. It wasn't the fact that she was running behind what bothered me, it was the way the receptionist handle the situation. Her tone was so unprofessional, she basically told me " I don't know what to tell you, either come later or another day". I was being inconvenienced and on top of that no reasonable solution was offered to me. Their "solution" was to come back later or not come at all. There was no consideration for my time. I am pretty understanding when things happen but what makes a difference it's how it is resolved and handled. I really liked Esneda, but unfortunately, I won't be coming back to this place. Costumer service and professionalism is a must for me, and I don't believe this is a priority for them.
