Awesome Addition to St. James! Located right next door to Del Fuego. Me and my wife both tried a tasting flight. My wife loved all the beers and 3 of my 4 pics were delicious. They brew them with local ingredients sourced straight from the farms on the East End of Long Island. Great addition to the neighborhood with great beer will definitely be back.

What can I say, I'm a sucker for new breweries...I finally got a chance to check this place out over the weekend and it's a welcome addition to the other Holbrook breweries (Spider Bite & 1940's)! With a new sign on the road, you won't miss it. We came on a rainy day so everyone was inside the tasting room, but they do set up a little tent right out front so you could sit out there if it was nicer. They had 4 beers on tap which they rotated out once one keg kicks. They don't sell pints, just $3 sample cups...so for $12 you can enjoy a flight of each beer or tap, or mix it up with whichever 4 you like. I tried the Dubbel, Pomme (apple), and Fraise (strawberry). Although I'm not the biggest fan of Belgian beers, they are pumping out some really good, high ABV beers packed with flavor. I fell in love with the Pomme, and will definitely be going back for more and also to try the Plum stout which wasn't on tap yet that day. Very nice people and a real chill vibe makes this a nice new spot to grab a beer or two and hang out.

Let me start by saying in a world of breweries focused around New England style IPA's st James brewery is a breath of fresh air. A true brewery in my opinion, with an owner who doesn't just want support from locals but actually supports other local businesses through the use of local ingredients sourced from local farms. The beer here is excellent. There Belgium style beers were delicious and spot on in style. They weren't some interpretation of what they want Belgium beers to be, adding crazy things that don't belong in traditional Belgium beers. They were simply delicious Belgium ales. The stouts and farmhouse ales are also excellent. Local ingredients that don't overpower the flavor of the beer. For example the plum stout has nuances of plum not plum flavor that punches you in the palate like a warhead. I'm thoroughly impressed by the beer here and the friendly service from staff and the owner/brewer. Also when your done here you can walk 50 yards up the block to spider bite brewery and try there beers as well.

    Are they ever open?

I've had wonderful Belgian style beers here. The tasting room is clean, and the brewery is in full view. They fill growlers, and often have Belgian style corked bottles for sale-- great gifts for your beer aficionado friends.

Great beer, great service. A great place to hang out!

There are places you go to grab a drink, and then there are places you genuinely look forward to…read more Six Harbors Brewing Company, nestled in the heart of Huntington Village, firmly belongs in that second category -- and I say that as someone who has been there a dozen times and counting. Founded in May 2018 by Huntington residents Mark and Karen Heuwetter after three years of hard work and planning, Six Harbors holds the proud distinction of being Huntington Village's first and only micro-brewery. And from the moment you walk in, you understand why the community embraced it so enthusiastically. The vibe is nautical meets industrial -- casual but polished, comfortable and undeniably inviting. It feels less like a commercial establishment and more like a really cool friend's living room, which is entirely by design. Mark and Karen are hands-on owners who have a genuine gift for making every patron feel welcome. The beer is excellent. There's a solid lineup of year-round staples alongside rotating seasonal options, which means there's always something new to try. That variety keeps every visit feeling fresh -- you never quite know what's going to be on tap, and that's half the fun. The food menu is intentionally simple: personal pizzas, giant pretzels, and North Fork potato chips. But here's the thing -- you're welcome to bring outside food, which is a refreshingly customer-friendly policy that you don't see everywhere. Now, here's what truly sets Six Harbors apart, and I say this with full sincerity: the dogs. Yes, Six Harbors is dog-friendly -- well-behaved, leashed pups are welcome at all times. But the real stars of the show are Buddy, Barley, and Brandy, three gorgeous golden retrievers affectionately known as "The Brew Dogs." They belong to Mark and Karen, and they come to work every day. These three are among the sweetest, most gentle dogs you'll ever have the pleasure of meeting. Petting them takes your visit from great to truly amazing! And it doesn't stop there. Mark and Karen go above and beyond to celebrate their four-legged community. Throughout the year, Six Harbors hosts Yappy Hours, dog meet-ups, a Halloween costume party, a December ugly sweater party, and even birthday celebrations for the Brew Dogs themselves. (Just recently, we had the pleasure of attending Barley's seventh birthday -- an event that can only be described as pure, unfiltered Cuteness Overload.) It's no surprise that Six Harbors and the Brew Dogs have been featured on The Kelly Clarkson Show, NBC News, CBS, Buzzfeed, and more. Whether you're a craft beer enthusiast, a dog lover, or simply someone who appreciates a place with genuine warmth and character, Six Harbors Brewing Company is worth the trip. Highly, enthusiastically recommended!!

Even though there was a huge crowd, the bartenders kept up with the demand. I never waited more than 5 minutes for a beer and there were hundreds of people there. I didn't try the food truck because I desperately wanted to try their homemade pretzels. They were perfect. Hot, soft, and chewy; the mustard that came with them was excellent. I like that they are dog friendly. I would like it more if they were a little more kid friendly too. I guess we will stick to the very crowded days so my toddler doesn't stand out in the crowd. I worry in quiet days, he wouldn't be welcomed since he is deep into the twos. IYKYK.

We stopped by on Christmas Eve Eve, and it was such a fun, low-key way to kick off the holiday. The vibe was super chill the second we walked in. A solid neighborhood brewery with good energy. The bartender was genuinely friendly and welcoming, which always makes a difference, especially during a busy holiday week. It felt like the kind of place where regulars hang out, but newcomers are just as welcome. They had live music going that night, which added to the cozy, festive feel without being overwhelming. You could still talk, laugh, and actually enjoy your beer, which I appreciate! It felt more like background vibes than a full-on concert, in the best way. I ordered the Lindy Light, and it was exactly what I wanted: crisp, refreshing, and easy to drink lager. Perfect if you're not looking for something super heavy or complicated. The tap list had a nice mix overall, so whether you're into lighter beers or want something with a little more character, there's definitely something for you. They also have NA and cocktail options. The space itself is casual and comfortable. Nothing fancy, but that's part of the charm. It's the kind of place you can pop into for one beer and end up staying longer than planned. Friendly staff, good beer, live music, and an easygoing vibe. I'd absolutely come back, especially around the holidays or anytime I'm in the area looking for a relaxed hang.

It was packed inside but it was spacious and still comfortable. However, it was a beautiful day outside so we decided to sit in the beer garden which has a ton of chairs, picnic tables, etc. They also had two food trucks on site (we got the pizza, which was delicious). While the outdoor bar isn't open for the season just yet, the indoor bar was fast when it came to service - even on a packed day. We never waited for a beer and they have tons of tap & go payment portals which make checking out easier. The guava gose was perfect on a beautiful day. Fruity yet tangy and easy to drink. They also sell soft drinks if you're sober or you had one too many beers. Welcoming environment. Great to visit even if you're not going to the farm.
