This brewery has limited hours, but is definitely worth the wait. You will find craft brews here that you will not find anywhere else. They have a beer club called the Skeleton Army and recruitment is open now, but there are limited spots. Members get 16 ounce pours instead of the usual 12 ounce pour as well as two free cans of beer a month. All the benefits are on their website. Food trucks are usually outside offering a good selection of appetizers and meals. They opened up a new tasting room in February, 2018. It is a much larger space, wooden floor, stone bar topped with a vertically sawed tree planks. You can feel where that bark was peeled off. There is a foosball table, wooden picnic tables. There is definitely a rustic feel the the tasting room.

TBC for everybody!

I love beer, but I really should know more about the brewing process (it's a mental work in progress). A few of my buddies share the same feeling and often we've discussed our delusions of grandeur in wanting to open a brewery one day. Maybe we can take notes from The Brewers Collective, a group of beer lovers who started off with home brewing and over time, have reached tap room level (and with truly tasty brews to boot). Like many microbreweries of the island and surrounding areas, TBC isn't something you'll locate on a bustling street in the heart of Bay Shore. Nay, you must search the industrial area of Clinton Ave to hunt down this beer gem. It's a small tap room, but there's some real character to it, especially with the creative logo scattered about and a small hand in bar games. Most importantly, there's a good selection of beer. With ten brews on tap (more than some larger breweries on the isle) you'll start off with great wonderment. Now you won't be able to grab a flight, but tasters and pints are available at reasonable prices, and of course you can always just ask to try a sample. Though don't worry. You'll enjoy what you drink. I tasted the Witchbinder (an awesomely flavorful sage and roasted pumpkin gruit ale), Bay Shore Badman (a nice smooth yet hoppy collab wth GSB), and Ella (an unforgettable Porter with Madagascar vanilla beans). Between my sis and buddy I also sampled Entourage (a nice session brew with watermelon hints) and Cawfee (a robust cold brew coffee Porter). Nothing faltered in flavor and I was only more impressed by each sip. Beyond the brews, one of the "Collective" was manning the bar and had a truly friendly and welcoming attitude. He chatted with others about the brewery process, the beers they've concocted, and made everyone feel like they were a part of this beer group. There was also mention of "The Skeleton Army" which is TBC's monthly beer club. It gives you access to plenty of cool brewery stuff (an awesome 16oz mug to start) including the eleventh mystery tap line on their menu that had me considering a throw down of dollar bills to join. Perhaps next time... Overall, The Brewers Collective is here and there is no stopping this talented group of beer makers. With an intimate tap room, friendly staff, and rockin' brews, Bay Shore is lucky to have a third brewery in its midsts, and one that could even give GSB a run for their money (one day). I'll be back soon, TBC, as I look forward to my next round, and maybe even a little more knowledge into the beer making process.

Guys, I'm going to be real here, I don't know HOW I let reviewing this place slip. This brewery is small but mighty, and dare I say it, this place is my *gasp* favorite brewery to go to. The first place I had ever tried TBC's beer was at Great South Bay's Punktoberfest (Rust is still one of my favorite beers you've made), and I've been hooked ever since. Atmosphere: Probably the #1 thing I love about this place. I never have to scream over hoards of people to order my drink. I don't have to worry about "bros" invading my space. Everyone's super friendly. I can play darts in peace. There's dogs. What more could I want? Staff: Hello! They're great! Everyone I've met that works there has been super sweet. They all really love the beers they're making there and really believe in them, which is a beautiful thing. Not sure what to order? Pick their brains. I've had some of my favorite beers there off of staff recommendations. The Beer: It's amazing. Honestly just great. They're constantly rotating out their taps with new beers, some with wild flavor combinations that are super exciting to try. Events: Love this part! They have live music, they have food trucks, they have art shows, they have yoga classes (shout out to Daayani Yoga & their collab beer at TBC!). They've made this space so much more than just a tasting room, and it's pretty great. Overall Impression: In case you couldn't tell, this was a love letter and I love coming here.

Absolutely love this brewery, it's my favorite! The beer is amazing! The vibe is great, very laidback. They usually have a food truck outside, the food truck is different every time I'm there, so look on their website to see who will be there when you decide to visit. -Prices are great -Great customer service

This brewery surprised me. You pull up to a parking lot with a very industrial feel, that's because the brewery is a warehouse. A very nicely decorated and furnished warehouse. They have darts, a little arcade game table, and a tv with a video game console which was very different but fun! There was live music which wasn't great but was good for background noise I suppose. We tried a few different beers and enjoyed most of them. The staff is very friendly and helpful with choosing beers that you would like.

Delicious craft beers, a lovely aesthetic, and the smell of fresh wood make this place a great find. They have darts, foosball, & Pac-Man. Visited on a day with a live band, and I will say that was way too loud to carry a conversation without having to yell. Anyway, food truck outside serving Spanish food which is an excellent feat. Cool artwork inside. Indoor + outdoor seating. Andddd it's dog-friendly! Really have nothing but great things to say about this place.

I have to say, Jason and his crew have done something really beautiful here. The space is large and gorgeous, with plenty of parking outside. There is seating and tables, dart boards and some other games. They host a bunch of events that look pretty fun though I have yet to attend them. They book great local bands (like Acme Dynamite) to play on the weekends. Now lets get to the beer. Phenomenal. After several visits, I've tried a good handful of styles and brews here though every single time I come, there is new stuff available for me to try. I honestly do not have anything bad to say about TBC and I strongly encourage you to check them out.

This brewery was started by a bunch of home brewers, that make a bunch of great beer. I was really in my happy place, being a home brewer myself, they answered all my questions, and just were happy to talk beer. They have a great tap list of interesting beers, I have had gruit beers before, but this one was delicious. I wish I lived near by because I would be here every weekend. Keep up the good work!

This past weekend led my good friend and fellow YEE Josh G., our friend Mike P. and me to a couple of breweries in the Bay Shore area. The first stop on our journey was The Brewer's Collective. Although a small brewery, I was quite impressed with the options available, the service we received, and the prices. Perhaps the greatest feature was the fact that you could order any number of beers for a flight (1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or more), providing true flexibility. After glancing at the menu, I decided to choose a flight of 4 beers and opted for the Crisby, Mattyweizen (how could I pass on a beer that literally has my name in it?), Scorn and B.B.-18. Of the 4, the Crisby was my favorite, which was a classic lager with a great body and flavor. Mattyweizen was a close second, offering a pleasant Bavarian flavor. Scorn wasn't bad either, which was a creamy stout that was bitter without being too heavy. Personally, I wasn't a fan of the B.B.-18, which perhaps had too much of a coconut flavor. Ambiance at this brewery is also pleasant, with TVs playing local games and even a couple of video game consoles. Plus, free pretzel sticks are offered at the bar. Seating is limited, but we didn't have much trouble finding a place to sit. And again, the service was wonderful here. The bartenders were pleasant and very helpful. A great brewery to visit!

I came here for a friend's DJ gig and location was hard to find if it's your first time. But inside it's really nice and was filled with different board and arcade games. It's a nice chill spot with your friends. The drinks weren't bad I'm just not a beer drinker. If they serve food then it would definitely be the icing on the cake.
