Flight of three in a ouija-board-piece-shaped holder. Definitely embracing the ghostly feel.

Boo! Okay, that's a pretty cheap way to start off a review for a place called Ghost Brewing Company, but I mean, why not go for the obvious joke? Despite this predictable quip, you know what's not obvious? How great Ghost Brewing Company is, especially only days after their opening weekend, when my buddy and I came. You might plop their address into Google Maps and be confused by the location. Yes, it's actually right where Great South Bay Brewery is; they literally share the same building. But what isn't the same is the overall feel and ambiance. Ghost has a wonderfully eerie, yet comfortable vibe. The framed images of witch spells and incantations, along with creepy candles and cozy couches makes for an experience unique to anything on Long Island. This was stated by the employee (maybe brewer/owner?) who was super chill and totally cool, offering to let my buddy and I try anything before getting a pint or flight. Speaking of flights, that's what I went for (after a few free tastes of some quality brews). By the end, my amigo and I tried a little more than half of their available beers. This included Ambition Is a Dream (a cream ale with plenty of banana and peanut butter notes) as well as After Life (a Kentucky Common with cocoa nibs and multiple types of cherries). Both beers were respectability good, though let's add in my ouija-board-piece-shaped flight of three for further reviewing. I chose to tackle the Vale of Shadows (a solid farmhouse saison) along with Knife Fight (a totally spectacular simcoe session IPA) and finishing off with Ghost Witte (a witbier with plenty of piney, lemony, minty hints) to round out the variety Ghost was brewing and offering. There were a few more styles available, but let's just call that incentive to return. Honestly, the beers didn't necessarily blow me away. There were plenty of respectable flavors and I loved the spectrum of styles Ghost offered, but I didn't leave with anything necessarily sticking out in my head. What stuck out more was the hospitality, social positives, and aesthetic feel that made me interested in returning. For those reasons, I'll take a 4.5 feel (plus a little ambition) and push this review to five stars (subjective to a second round experience). Overall, Ghost Brewing Company is a welcomed addition to the LI beer scene, especially with its unique style and longing for something different amongst the breweries already running things in the area. I'd like to see just a little more out of the quality of beer, but I'll back up this first review in all other facets and a hope that this is just the beginning for Ghost. Until my second visit, I send plenty of well wishes and luck to Ghost Brewing Company, complimenting their originally spooky suds feeling. Rock on, spirits!

Had a great beer portfolio, loved the cheese pizza. The service was great, Nikki was very helpful. I also enjoyed using the golf simulator in the front brewery.

Came here last Sunday with my fiancé for some brews. We were able to sit inside for table service and were distanced away from the other visitors. All mask and social distancing rules were followed. I was obsessed with the spooky decor. Thank you for a great experience. Also love that they share a building with Great South Bay; makes brewery hopping very easy. Can't wait to come back.

Brand new brewery in the back of Great South Bay. Nice selection of beers mostly high in alcohol content. You are going to need an Uber if you stay here for long. Nice space roomy with a couch, a bunch of tables and plenty of room at the bar. Love that you can hit two breweries in the same place. Side note- king tut is in the corner of the room

    Beers subject to change/rotate.

Another brewery close to where i live?? SWEET!! this place is located in the rear of GSB (Great South Bay Brewery). Their beers seem to rotate and not one has failed me. From IPAs to stouts. My fav is East Coast Ghost which is an NEIPA. This place is pet friendly with water bowls and just incase your dog had too much to drink, they come over and clean any accidents (although i think its the resp. of the owner) still a nice gesture. Will return soon!!

Best brewery on Long Island, hands down. Every beer is delicious in its own right, and the atmosphere is awesome.
