Beef Pho

I haven't been here in awhile. The sandwich was tasty but smaller than I recall. In the past, I would save half. The online ordering was weird. I didn't see the pho option but you could add on. The regular ingredients were not what I received and had no noodles.

Excellent Food! This restaurant is perfect for a quick lunch or dinner. Great ambiance, fast service at a reasonable price. Small menu yet every item is delicious. Give it a try and enjoy every bite!

Soooooooooo !!! This place is FIRE!!! ...... Pho Lang Thang u betta watch out!!!!.... This place puts the Thang tooooo shame.... First noticeable difference is the delectable broth... Wow the flavor is unreal... makes pho lang thangs broth taste like sock water... Everything in this Pho is fresh as it comes! Also had the Spring rolls that are in fact made in house, not that frozen panda sh*t!!... not to mention the price, QUALITY ingredients, great portions at a reasonable price!!!... I cannot wait to come back and try all the other goodies this place has to offer !!!.... This is definitely my go to for Pho from here on out !!!

Vermicelli and Spring Roll; Total $19

Place was 80% full and had a very little wait to order. Food was excellent and delicious! I walked in, ordered and had my food within 5 min. I ordered the Vermicelli Bowl and Fresh Spring rolls. Everything tasted fresh my total was $19.

This place was on my list of places to try for a while and finally had the chance today. It was pretty crowded during their lunch rush but the line for ordering was pretty quick. By 1:30pm they had already ran out of pho so you can imagine how many people enjoy their food. The pho was good overall but the broth was on the sweeter end for my liking. They offer 3 of the fried spring rolls versus the traditional 2 which is a plus but the sauce for spring rolls is a sweet sauce instead of the traditional fish sauce which is a nice twist. There's a few tables and seating inside but it fills up fast with the lunch rush. The prices were reasonable and you get a good amount of food for the price.

My favourite spot for lunch in downtown!! They are fairly close to my office. So I always go to Saigon Subs and Rolls for lunch! They only open at lunch time and it's always packed. I would recommend to calling in and order your food and take out. It's not a big place, they do have few tables for people to dine in. 1. Beef Pho (4/5) Love the texture of the noodles. Soup base is amazing too! But the beef cooked too long sometime. 2. Bahn Mi (3/5) I ordered a pork banh mi. It's average but they do have a lot of meat and veggie in it! If you want a quick lunch/snack, this's your pick!! 3. Spring roll (4/5) I ordered pork and shrimp spring rolls. It came with 3 rolls for $6. It taste good and the spring rolls are super crispy! 4. Rice dish with beef (3/5) It's a marinated beef with rice and side veggie. The beef is little too sweet imo.

The Vegetable Pho with Chicken smelled fantastic!

A couple of coworkers had recommended Saigon Rolls and Subs for lunch, and I decided to try it. The result was rather mixed, but optimistic. The storefront restaurant was very clean, both inside and out. They were VERY crowded at the time, which is always a very good sign to me. Although there was one person in front of me, the woman behind the counter took care of her in friendly, speedy fashion. When my turn came, she was just as friendly and courteous. She handed me the food, (Vegetable Pho with Chicken), and I was on my way. The Vegetable Pho smelled wonderful and familiar, as when I would eat it Downtown in my youth. The vegetables and noodles tasted terrific. The broth was salty and the chicken was a bit bland. Unfortunately, after I finished my Pho, I had gotten one of the worst headaches I've had in a long time. Overall, (besides the headache), I don't feel like Saigon Subs and Rolls is a bad place. In fact, I would eventually like to try it again, with a different meat and possibly lower salt.

Delicious, quick, fresh, and flavorful food served by a very courteous staff. The beef bahn mi is hearty size and well made! My vegetarian companion was impressed at the flavors in the tofu as well. Hard to beat for $6.50 Open for dine in and carry out during covid-19

I've only had delivery so not sure about the establishment but the food I received was delicious. It was fresh and a great portion for the price. I definitely will be ordering it again.

I loved this place! It was right behind my hotel and so convenient that I came here two days in a row for lunch while at a conference at the Duke Energy Convention Center this past week. The first day, I ordered the tofu and veggie spring roll vermicelli bowl, which was filled with delicious vegetables such as carrot and daikon, cucumbers, lettuce, and peanuts with delicious fish sauce dressing. I also ordered a Thai tea with boba, which was way sweeter than I am used to but it was still refreshing. The second day, I got one order each of shrimp and tofu fresh rolls that came with peanut sauce for me to take to go. It was so fast that from ordering to walking out it took under 6 minutes, so I was able to get back to the convention center, eat, and present within 20 minutes of the transaction. I wish I could have tried a banh mi and bowl of pho but you can for me!

I've lived two blocks from this place for two years but never tried it. Today was a rainy day and I'm home sick, so I thought some pho sounded great. I placed a DoorDash order for pickup, and it was ready in ten minutes. The amount of food I got for $12 is insane, it could easily be shared. Not to mention, it's delicious. I can't believe it took me this long to try it!

Chicken Pho

One of my daughters' favorite pho places (Cilantro) closed recently, so we continue our quest for good pho. Having been to Vietnam numerous times, our bar is pretty high. So we kept our fingers crossed when we came across Saigon Subs and rolls. The place is small, inviting and clean, located on the west side of 4th street downtown. My daughter and I had the Chicken Pho and did enjoy it. It had everything you would come to hope for in good pho, including the veggie adds (cilantro, fresh mint, bean sprouts etc). I wish I could give it a 5 star rating but the taste was not as good as I'd hoped. And it seemed a bit "oily" in the broth. I did make it better by adding some of the sides but it stilled lacked a bit. I will go back and try it again and add a bahn mi next time and will update my review.

I put in for reservations on a Saturday evening outside and I'm not sure if I needed it. However it was a great experience overall. Charlie was our waiter and he was super helpful and friendly. We shared some appetizers of salad rolls as well as the chicken wings. Five stars for those! My friend had the banh mi and I had the pho with meatball and brisket. Five stars! Delicious food! Literally all top notch. Looking forward to coming back and trying more.

We ordered a variety of entrees, but the highlight was definitely the pho. The broth tasted very close to what you'd find in California and even Vietnam, which was a pleasant surprise. Really rich, balanced, and comforting. The only downside was the lack of fresh herbs on the side. It only came with a dish of bean sprouts, so it felt like it was missing that extra freshness that usually completes a bowl of pho. Service was amazing, mostly students from UC. But everyone was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Parking was pretty easy, which made the whole experience even smoother. Overall, still a solid spot, especially if you're craving pho that tastes authentic.

I ordered the shrimp spring roll vermicelli, banh mi (pork sandwich) and the viet rice wrapper roll (Gỏi Cuốn) - to go. Here are the pros and cons. The pros. Great amount of food. The quantity was really good compared to other viet locations in the West Chester Ohio area. Actually what I would expect for $15 and some change for the vermicelli noodle bowl ( I still remember when this entree a long time ago was less than $10 but I digress). Likewise the banh mi had a decent amount of pork and a plastic ziplock with carrots and other veggies for sandwich (Around $8). So good amount of food. The cons. The taste seemed diluted across all the items from the shrimp in the vermicelli to the fish sauce and hoisin sauce for spring rolls. This was not the case with banh mi although the pork seemed too sweet and sauce had a thick corn starch feel. The fried spring roll in my vermicelli noodle dish did taste like the deep fryer oil had not been changed in awhile. That being said, I think if the vermicelli noodle dish had a stronger fish sauce, sauce then it would have been more flavorful but maybe that is a regional thing for owner. It was alot of food but finished with a bloated feeling. Kinda like when you eat at a Chinese buffet and you know some weird additives were added to food to create an unnatural full sensation. So not terrible but not great. Average.
