Came in with a few friends and the first impression of the restaurant was very welcoming, spacious, and clean. We were seated and had our order put in within a few minutes. I had the Pho Chin which was absolutely delicious, the meat was very flavorful and just melted away with the rich broth. We also tried the caramelized fish per recommendation, and I am not usually huge on fish, but this was game changing. Will definitely be back! read more

Customer service was very good lots of good vibes all around from the staff. The combination pho was very delicious! Would come again! I forgot to take a photo of the pho cause I was too busy indulging in it that's how you know it's good! read more

A very new and refreshing restaurant owned by a wonderful female cook. Definitely worth a visit if you guys want to try premium Pho, Spring rolls, noodles and Vietnamese cuisine in general. The service is off the chart and the ambiance is nice too! Highly recommended! read more

Order Pho to go. The service was very friendly and the food was packaged well. Overall the pho was solid however it could had used a little more favor / spice. Maybe I could have asked for some as well. read more

Just got the beef pho with eye of round steak. I was disappointed that the beef was already in the broth cooked grey. The soup was tasty enough but by no means best I ever had. The rice paper roll was also quite disappointing, full of shredded iceberg lettuce, something gray and pasty, and shrimp, all falling out of too thin wrap. Without the peanut sauce, almost completely flavorless. read more

Good quality Pho, and Banh Mi sandwiches! Quick reliable service, a great go to spot for lunch. read more

I had the white chicken pho and it was absolutely delicious. So was the pork banh mi - really good flavor, not at all dry, perfect bread that is not as hard and tough to eat as lots of others I've had. Service was a bit spotty but it was just one guy on one of the busiest nights of the year I presume, so I won't fault them. read more

I only had the pork banh mi. But the portion was a bit of a joke. The sandwich weighed about 1oz and had one or two tiny strips of pork. It tasted pretty good but I would have needed two more sandwiches to qualify it as a meal. Will adjust after trying the pho as necessary. read more

Tried Pho Nam Restaurant for the first time; opted for a chicken Banh mi, spring rolls, and Thai tea. Despite being a regular at another Vietnamese spot, I wanted to explore. Unfortunately, the banh mi lacked flavor, the spring rolls weren't fresh, and the Thai tea had boba, which isn't typical. They did remake the tea, though. Overall, the food was decent. The restaurant is on King St with heavy traffic, but it wasn't crowded; it's an open space. However, despite the okay food, I won't be returning. read more

The wife and I were running errands on King St on a cold, snowy Friday night and we were hungry! After considering our options we decided on a nice hot bowl of pho. We were all set to drive to Annandale but paused to check Yelp. Pho Nam came up as an option several blocks away and we have it a go. Walking in, I didn't expect much. We we had our choice of tables and the waiter/cashier handed us our menus and water right away. The menu has a really decent selection of pho, rice plates, broth-less noodles and more. After ordering our pho we were quickly served and my god the broth was savoury. I slurped my #2 down in minutes while thawing down. If you enjoy lean meat with minimal fat and gristle, get the eye round steak. That's her favorite option for exactly those reasons and Pho Nam blew past our expectations. read more

Stopped my here on a whim with zero expectations and was pleasantly surprised! First off, the entrance is small and a bit dingy-looking (when we went, there was a huge pile of cut up tree branches/leaves at the entrance that needed to be cleaned up) but the inside is very spacious and clean. We ordered a large pho (#12) and it really hit the spot! The soup was very savory and full of flavor, the noodles were on the thin side with generous portions, and the price was very reasonable, especially for the location. I'm so happy to have found a great tasting pho place nearby and will definitely be returning when I'm craving some casual Vietnamese food. read more

very cold inside of the restaurant- wind is going through it we had to be in coats. pho soup is A LOT of noodles and a bit of meat. We also ordered rice noodles with chicken . we had large bowl filled with noodles and carrots and 4 little tiny pieces of chicken as garnish... usually you have to mix meat with noodles and nice sauce ... was not the case nothing to mix... read more

I stopped in to try this place for the first time with a quick to go order of Garden Rolls and a milk tea. When I got my location to eat I was shocked at how bad the rolls looked no to go container, in a plastic bag. One of rolls split open. Full of only lettuce no vermicelli and two tiny sorry pieces of shrimp and pork. I did take a chance and took one bite to see if taste. Of course taste matched how it looked. See pics. Now I hope I don't get sick from my sample taste. No way this place should have 4 stars. Maybe a one time occurrence but too many good places to take a chance on this place. Go somewhere else. The boba all stuck together in the tea too... read more

OMG! Start with the lemonade...freakishly delicious! I know that sounds odd, but it is exceptionally delicious. The pho is awesome. Lean, paper thin slices of very flavorful beef, perfectly tender noodles, and pleasantly flavored broth. I didn't ask for the hot pepper sauce but will next time. We also had spring rolls and fried rolls, so delicious!!the spring rolls have finely shredded lettuce, which makes them not only more delicious but also easier to eat than when the lettuce leaves are whole. Very fast and efficient service who will help you make great choices! The restaurant is fun to eat in because the antique doors are fun and interesting to look at! Unusual decor but I like it. read more

Came here a few weeks ago and ordered the pork bahn mi and Vietnamese coffee. At $9 for the bahn me it's expensive. But...this is old Town so I really can't complain. I don't mind paying for good food so the real question is, was it worth the extra $2 you'd pay at Eden Center? The answer is... Yup. The pork was delicious, veggies were fresh and they didn't soak it in mayo. The French bread was as it should be, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. My only complaint, as others have pointed out, is there's NOT enough meat. Two slices of this delicious pork just ain't gonna cut it. . Four pieces would have been this sandwich stellar! On to the Vietnamese coffee. This was also good. Providing the punch to the tastebuds one would expect and not to sweet or to much ice. Judging by the other reviews, it's worth trying the Pho, so I shall return. read more

Decent pho that hit the right spot. Wished portions were bigger tho and the noodles were a little clumpy. Appreciated that they provided each guest with their own plate of toppings, but wished they added mint and cilantro. Overall good pho. read more

The staff was friendly and the environment is nice but the meat was not fresh. I was regretting coming here when I ate the meat and did not finish it. Had a stomachache afterwards. It was the beef tripe. I will not be coming back again. :/ disappointing experience read more

Stopped in here about a half hour before they were closing and told takeout only. I should have left, but ordered the pho anyway. Best banh mi i've had since leaving new orleans. Fresh ingredients, great bread, and actually flavorful and well-cooked tofu. Started working in alexandria not too long ago. Came here when they opened up finally. I eat pho in every county I go, so it goes to say that bad pho is bad pho. Good pho is good pho. Nam does pho and service very well. Especially since Old town is very bland. Good job Pho Nam!! read more

Great food and service in this new place. The restaurant still needs decoration and some warmth added to it. But that lack of decoration in well filled by an excellent phò broth, and generous amounts of goodies. We tried both fried and fresh rolls, the phò, pork chops, and a chicken bánh mì. All of them excellent. Great flavors. Reasonably priced. Service was also a high note of this visit. read more

Good food with good prices. Food came out fast. Would recommend! Ordered the large Pho and was very happy. read more

The food is okay. I would go back there again. They have limited seating which does give you space between tables. Only street meter parking unless you venture several blocks away. The sodas are provided by can with a glass. They do provide plastic to-go containers if you don't finish the pho. There was only one server (sitting down at table eating) and he was trying to provide service and eat his own meal, so you kind of felt like you were interrupting his dinner time. Anytime you did look his way to ask a question, he did come over and provide service so there was no gap in the service. The food came out quickly. I would recommend you give them a chance because the place did seem clean and they did provide decent service. read more

Nov 2020: Friendly staff. Establishment was clean and had good ambience. ***** Ordered the rice and chicken dish. Large portion of rice. Medium portion chicken. **** Rice was well cooked. Chicken flavorful and great seasoning. ***** Ordered egg roll. Served hot. A little bland in flavor. *** Overall, when compared with places in Eden Center, this is average. One is served more at Eden Center for less price. I am sure overhead in Old Town is higher. Will try the pho next time to see if the four stars holds up. I do recommend based on first experience. read more

Very good pho. Walking distance from my job. Pho comes very fast and hot! Highly recommend.

Pho taste is spot on! Great base soup, fresh meat slices, plenty of noodle, definitely up to par with my favorites like Pho75 in Arlington! I was skeptical at first, so many pho places have been disappointing, not even coming close to quality in taste as Phi75 in Arlington. I'd say this one does. Great loose leaf Jasmin tea as well! This was my go to pho spot. We were always willing to drive 2 hours from where we were to pick up some pho. Recently ate there and notice the portions were not the same. The bahn me was literally 2 slabs. 3 phos and 3 bahn me were around $100. Not worth the money. read more
