Quite good food. Spring roll was so-so. The restaurant was quite cold and the food was lukewarm. The tea was also lukewarm. The service was extremely slow compared to other Vietnamese restaurants. It seemed that there was only one person serving, so it took at least ten minutes for him to actually come and get our order slip. Then we waited at least 15-20 minutes for the food to arrive.

#109 Hot & Sour Chicken Pho

Just got back from Vietnam and had to find a place and Saigon is awesome!! Very comparable to the real thing, I do not have one single complaint. The pho is great! On the other hand... the son here is a total asshole. Rude everytime I come here and has provided me shit service. He's very disrespectful. 3 stars for food.

    #A02 Pork spring roll

Great food at a fair price. I started going here a cpl years ago and I haven't been able to stop! I highly recommend the "Satay Chicken" it is #109 on their menu and a great starter that pairs well with this pho is the "pork spring rolls" #A02 on their menu. The service is great even though the son is a little estranged. The father knows how to make a great pho so always know that you are in good hands when that man is working the stove in his kitchen! Enjoy your blends folks and always remember... don't ask, just pour!

    Best Vietnamese Pad Thai ever!

We really really enjoy the Vietnamese version of Pad Thai, do not expect the sweet Thai version, this dish is spicy!! The stir fried bok choy is a perfect complement to neutralize the spice. Vegetarian pho lovers try C9. Place is always busy and many take outs.

Had the chicken Pho, not great but passable for suburban GTA. Price is right as well.

I ordered Shrimp Pad Thai, Shrimp Bangkok noodles, BBQ Pork Thai Fried Rice, Wonton soup and Tom Yum (Chicken and Shrimp) soup. Everything was delicious. The noodles were just right, and the sauces complimented the dish with the savoury and sweet taste that is the hallmark of Thai Food. The soups are generous. We had 12 wontons in our wonton soup, so we could share with all 4 of us. The shrimp was large and plentiful in each of the dishes. Overall, we loved it so much that the entire family agreed that this would be our new Thai Food Restaurant. Previously, we had the Pho and Vietnamese dishes, and I can also recommend those and the fried rice. I thought it was amazing that this little restaurant does the job of 3 different restaurants, yet the food rivals some of the more specialized restaurants we've been to.

Perhaps since it was a weekday (and snowing), it wasn't busy and we were seated right away. Like many pho or Vietnamese food spots, it has a casual, familiar feel, both in the atmosphere and the food. We shared fresh shrimp rolls and fried calamari, and each of us ordered a main - I went with the pho of course! The smaller size was more than enough. Overall, it was a solid experience, though nothing particularly memorable. That being said, I could see myself coming back if I'm in the area again.

We order a couple cocktails, they were both great. A Lychee Sour, and a mango Margarita, came out quick as the service was great. We both had soups and split a pork Bahn Mi. It is not sustainable the way it is being just a piece of paper. The food taste and presentation ranges from good to great. One thing that felt odd and out of place was menu item S10 Bò Né which includes marinated beef, cheese, fries, and other assorted food items. It felt a little off brand and different from the rest of the Vietnamese or Southeast Asian fare. The worst thing out of all the experience was the level of service and staff training. Many of the younger servers do not know what they are doing. The level of familiarity they have about the menu was inadequate. They were unsure about what some of the menu items actually were when they were bringing it over to serve it. Even if they may not be native to the type of cuisine being served, the least they can do is have an acceptable enough working knowledge about what is included in the dish and what it looks like. Proper anticipation and thought about providing the needed plates, bowls, and utensil sets was also just not there. We had to request for dishwares and cutlery several different times.
