I've been meaning to write a review for this place since 2021. We have been ordering delivery from them during Covid and could never get enough of their food! Once Covid passed we finally started eating here and they never disappoint. The price point is fair for the amount of food they give. I was expecting mediocre food but it was actually very authentic and satisfying. I love the takeout packaging as it is new and convenient. The bottom layer of the bowl contains the broth which is separated by a more shallow top surface that carries the noodles, meat and veggies. There is a separate baggie that has fresh bean sprout, herbs, pepper and a lime! Their sriracha and hoisin sauce comes in little cute packets. First Time Visit I was so hungry so 5minutes in the food tasted pretty good. After a few bits of the garlic noodles I realized that wasn't much flavor to them as other garlic noodle dishes I've tasted--think olive oil base. The prawns were excellently cooked and seasoned. They had a Smokey BBQ flavor to them. Again, noodles could have had more garlic flavor and some Parmesan on top of the dish as they usually do at most places for added flavor. The spring rolls with shrimp was great until I bit into it and realized there was meat in it. I called the store and asked what it was they said pork, which I wasn't too happy about because I'm not a huge pork eater and 100% when I've ordered spring rolls in the past it's usually made with shrimp only or shrimp/chicken and it indicated on the menu item it's contents. But since it was my first time visiting this restaurant I guess it's my fault I should have asked. The service is AMAZING!!! They offered us free drinks to try and their thai tea and green milk tea is DELICIOUS. Would definitely come back just for the drinks. I think I just found my new go-to place for pho. My mom was actually the one discovered Saigon Eatery via yelp. She had been talking about the good reviews for awhile and we deduced to go here for lunch one day. The menu is quite impressive as not only do they have traditional pho dishes; they also have Saigon street food dishes such Shaken Ribeye fries and Golden Bao. Pricewise for pho bowls, rice dishes, noodles are fair. Entrees around $9-$11 for entrees. The prices on the sides though are a little bit on high side. Three egg rolls are $5 and two golden baos are $7 My mom and each got a beef pho along with a side of egg rolls and golden bao. We were quite pleased with the amount of beef they put in the beef pho. For a beef pho you are allowed two types of meat. I got the rib eye and beef ball and they gave plenty. Similarly my mom got the brisket and rib eye and she also had a lots of meat in her soup bowl. It was enough for our lunch and dinner. Aside from being generous with their portions; the taste was on point as well. I really loved the flavor of the broth. As for the sides; I liked both the egg rolls and golden baos! Though as I mentioned they were slightly pricey; they were quite delicious. I loved the rice noodles inside the egg rolls. The golden bao is very fulfilling. It had lots of ground pork. I didn't notice until later that they did not give the shrimp flavored chips that was supposed to come with the golden bao :(. I also ended up getting a Vietnamese iced coffee to go. For $3; this was good in price! This drink is strong! I know Vietnamese coffee is supposed to be strong but wow this was super strong. I think this place is really a hidden gem. I want to start off with the customer service always being 100%. The food is always delicious. This is a mom and pop kinda place, but don't let that fool you. Their vermicelli meals are all very delicious and packed with flavor. I absolutely enjoy a great balance of carbs and protein and so this is one of my favorite spots to go to. The main reason I love this place is their Bahn Mi. I think this place's Bahn Mi is very underrated and overshadowed by their Pho (which is what they're known for) their Marinated Beef is my favorite as it is packed with flavor and loaded with delicious beef!
