Food was ok, not bad but not good enough for me to come back since I live in Westminster and it was pretty pricey. I paid I think it was $25 for a salmon plate.

We've been coming here for years and the food has always been consistently delicious and dependable. When the restaurant changed ownership a few years ago, we were happy to find that the quality remained just as strong. We heard the new owner made a real effort to learn the original recipes and uphold the standards set by the family who ran it for so many years and that dedication truly shows in the food. The location itself is warm and inviting and familiar in the best way, it's part of what keeps us coming back. While the staff is consistently kind and friendly, the level of attentiveness doesn't feel quite the same as it once did. That said, we will always return because the bone broth they prepare for the pho is truly exceptional.

Best pho in town! I live 40min out and I would come here whenever I get a chance. Staff is super friendly also.

Let's be honest, people get pho to cure their hangover, but this place doesn't just cure hangovers they actually have love in their food! Their broth is very rich in flavor, they also have high quality meat. Ask for the owners home made chili sauce, it elevates the broth even more. The service is great! The owner was very friendly to her customers and the waiters got whatever you asked for immediately. The ambiance of the place feels very warm. Marble bar top and decorated with plants around the restaurant with lights that set the mood for a nice dinner. This is my new top pho spot. I'll most likely be here on Sunday morning after my Saturday night of heavy drinking.

Had an amazing experience here! The food and ambiance were great, u absolutely have to try the lychee drinks, they r incredible.

My daughter and I came here for dinner, food is great, restaurant is clean, service is great; the servers are friendly and they gave a few recommendations on what to order. I had the pho special, my daughter had garlic noodles with chicken. Great taste! Will be back.

We walked in on a Sunday afternoon to a fairly empty restaurant and were told we could take a seat anywhere we'd like. Presotea is located inside the resteraunt and you can order their drinks while dining in or you can just walk up to the counter and order. Service was friendly but not very attentive. I ordered the Shrimp Spring rolls and requested that the cabbage be omitted. They arrived filled with cabbage. The server happily took them back and brought the new rolls which still had traces of cabbage. The order comes with two and overall, they were good. We also tried the Signature Steak Filet Mignon Fried Rice. The picture showed the dish topped with a fried egg. Unfortunately, we missed the disclaimer stating that the fried egg was an extra charge. Once the rice arrived, we didn't feel like waiting for the egg. It would have been nice if the server would have asked if we wanted it topped with an egg. The dish was tasty. However, some meat was chewy and the rice was a bit overcooked with some of the rice being a bit hard. From Presotea, we ordered the Brown Sugar Creme Brule. This drink was really good! Overall, it was great to try. But, we most likely won't be back to Saigon District. I would say Presotea is worth a visit.

THANK YOU SO MUCH CHEF RACHEL AND THE ENTIRE TEAM! KELLY, BRIAN AND RAIN! Pho was absolutely amazing. Soup was fantastic and vibes were incredible. Owner took 2 years to become an apprentice to be able to learn how to make ramen and cook at a famous Japanese restaurant. Apparently it was a famous sensei that taught her but she didn't know. COME TRY!

The pho broth flavor is fantastic! One of the best ones I've tasted and a few other people agreed. Great service and I love that they have a large selection of flavored ice teas, milk teas, and smoothies that are delicious, including an avocado smoothie. I highly recommend this restaurant!

The raichi drink was good and the miso carbonara was creamy and the proportion of bacon to pasta was perfect. It is super cute inside as well, but the service was kinda slow because they only had one server for all the tables. I think it's important to compare this to Ini ristorante because I think with this place being new that it is quite similar to Ini especially with the japanese italian fusion concept. I would say it is basically the same price if not more expensive than if you were to go to Ini and I personally think the food, ambiance and service is better at Ini than here. So in the future, I would be open to going back and there was nothing wrong with the restaurant, but I would definitely choose Ini over momonoki just cause I feel like I get more with how much I spend.

That said, the people were super nice in both places. You can tell it happens often. We went right as it opened, and we got seated right away. The menu is via a QRC on the table. We ordered 3 things - vongole pasta. Previously they offered it uni but this one had claims and shrimp. We also got the pesto and the calamari. Calamari was crispy but it also was slightly too salty and seemed to be a lot of batter. The calamari pieces were small. The pesto pasta was okay, but the pesto wasn't the traditional pesto. I couldn't put my finger on it but it must've been the dashi. The udon was cooked well though. Soft, definitely not al dente. This vongole was the biggest miss. It had a taste that we also couldn't figure out, but it was not enjoyable to eat. We left the meal very dissatisfied. The friend I went with, who has gone before, also agreed it was disappointing. As someone who hates to waste food, we were very close to leaving nearly half of each dish there. My friend ended up taking it back. Later that evening, we both were feeling off. Idk, perhaps it was a coincidence. In the end, it was a truly sad experience.

Tried basically every spot in OC. The only one she loved is a little far out called LJ's, so I decided to gamble on District 36. I met the owners when they first opened, good people who know what they are doing. The next gen trailblazing the way for Little Saigon. Saw they added a breakfast burrito, so I called in a to-go order: sausage + bacon + avocado (Valentine's Day splurge ). Gamble paid off. She loved it. This isn't just another bacon-egg-cheese wrap pretending to be special. They use tater tots instead of regular potatoes, so you get crispy + soft instead of mush. The sausage is the real twist, Vietnamese style, like bún chả pork: slightly sweet, savory, garlicky, lightly caramelized. Then the surprise: pickled veggies inside. That acidity cuts the richness and balances the whole burrito so it eats lighter than a typical gut-bomb breakfast burrito. It ends up tasting like a true Viet-American diner take on a SoCal classic, comforting but aromatic, familiar and sooo goood. Nice to finally have a worthy breakfast burrito option closer to home.

The salmon crudo was good, not blown away, but the caprese. Mmm! It came in a ponzu sauce and was this beautiful blend between Italian and Japanese flavors. So good. For our mains, my husband got the Seafood mafaldine and I opted for the Mala lamb pizza. This was such a unique pizza flavor, the hot honey sauce it came with tasted like a spicy, sweet curry and the pizza itself was delicious. Crispy crust, a little bit of cilantro for freshness. So good. To top it all off, we got the Blueberry pavlova and hazelnut cake. Both of these were incredibly indulgent and absolutely worth it. I think we were full for a whole day off this meal. To wash it down, I had the Highball with Suntory whiskey and a Calamansi Sidecar. I loved the assortment of Japanese whisky here, the cocktail menu was more tastefully curated than just trendy. On top of an excellent meal that I will be salivating over for a while, our server Danny was great! Super attentive, friendly, helpful and just a delight. Highly recommend!
