    Garlic noodles

I've seen garlic butter noodles on Vietnamese restaurant menus a lot but never ordered it. One day at Saigon Bowl, I ordered the garlic butter noodles and they were quite tasty. I shared a plate with my bf but it was a lot of food for two people. The noodles were cooked well and just very flavorful. It was overbearing in garlic flavor or too oily due to the butter. It was pretty great balance. I saw the rice bowls pass by and those look tasty and will need to try next time I'm here. Overall, there's plenty of seating. It was kinda slow when we came here at like 3pm but still had people.

I came here expecting just some sesame chicken. Apparently here, that means a whole experience. First things first; The whole get-up inside comes off as a higher class restaurant from the moment you walk inside. We got there before the lunch rush, but were still greeted like high class citizens. Got to our table and drinks almost immediately afterwards. Every server was so incredibly friendly, I have a hard time trying to make a joke on it. The food got to us piping hot, and this sesame chicken may look like your usual Chinese takeout, the first bite I took was nowhere near that. The food had a flavor of legitimate freshness, not just reheated and thrown onto a bowl. Eveb the veggies had a fresh and crispy bite to it all. Definitely a great place to go, don't let the dead mall vibes of the outside fool you. It's pretty amazing.

Today I stopped in to try out my favorite cuisine, Vietnamese. Saigon bowl is tucked away in a large shopping center in Thornton just off of I-25. The location was VERY spacious with options to seat large parties. Staff was friendly and attentive to refills and taking orders in good timing. The menu has MANY options with pictures for each item on the entire menu, very awesome those not familiar with Vietnamese cuisine. I ordered the Shaking Beef (Com Bò Lúc Lăc) This has always been one of my favorites dishes. It gets its name from vigorously shaking the pan to evenly cook the meat. This dish always has the most tender soft beef to taste. Comes with a side of rice that is a nice pairing with the veggies and beef. I will be back to try more options soon!

    Empty pho tahi

The food came out really quickly and it was actually really good. I would recommend the Pho Thai it was amazing! I'm definitely coming back!

Amazing service, very attentive to the costumers! & the food is always amazing ! Really recommend this place !

    Spicy seefood ramen the best.

Great service and the food was great......the place was really clean and food came out really quick

    Dumpling soup

It was pretty good and the service was great. I had the dumpling soup and I liked the dumplings they were super flavorful. The noodles were also pretty good. I recommend coming here.

Slightly oily and adequate flavor at best

I'm Vietnamese, obviously, and I'm disappointed Asian dad in some of the staff. I am not a pho-magic for Saigon Bowl. Three pictures included: oily pho with flavor you wouldn't kick out of bed, bean sprout quality control... questionable at best and don't get me started on protein portions. Mind you our servers only come out to the dining room area periodically. They must be new or I'm just projecting my disappointment. On a brighter note from a not to so bright pho restaurant in the Denver county area: there looks like a karaoke room in the back. Seems like a fun nighttime spot to party with friends. Their pho might not cure your hangover tho. 2 stars.. more like 1.5

Coupon that they put out, but do not honor.

Service: Okay no joke, the service here absolutely sucks. We came in with a 15% coupon. See attached photo that says "Show this...for 15% off" so when it's time to pay we showed one of the restaurant staffs the coupon. She seemed perfectly okay with it and explained to our waiter that we have a coupon for 15% discount as he approached to handle our bill. Our waiter refused to honor it for some reason despite his female coworker being perfectly fine with the coupon. Our waiter proceeded to argue with us and say that they do not accept the coupon unless we have a physical printout. No, it says "Show this post" right from their Google page. I even zoomed in to show our waiter the fine print. He still firmly refused to honor the coupon and has a rude attitude at this point. He asked me where I got the coupon from and I explained it's on their Google page, posted by their owner. Lol. He then spent several minutes on the phone with someone, then came back took a photo of the coupon displayed on our phone screen and spent several more minutes on the phone. After which he came back and said okay yeah we give you the 15% discount but next time you need the paper. Lol so ruining our lunch mood and being stubborn over a $3 discount that they did in fact put out and do not honor is definitely not a good first impression. Food: My combination noodle bowl was delicious and I was impressed by portion and flavors. Their egg rolls were one of the best tasting when judged against Vietnamese restaurants in the area. Pho - good portion, but really strange tasting broth. The extra sweetness is not in a good way either. It's sweet in a Chinese herbal way, which I have never tasted in pho broth anywhere else. To the owner: Your staff flock together and talk loudly in Vietnamese on why they get low or no tips. Their conversations are loud enough that Vietnamese customers like myself inside the restaurant can easily hear them. However their attitude and the way they argue with customers as I have seen, as my first time here, makes it crystal clear why people don't tip and why these bad reviews keep coming in. We enjoyed what we ordered, but refuse to go back to the lousy atmosphere and rude service. Also, for future customers, call in first to ensure they will honor coupons that they themselves put out, because for the one currently live on their Google page, they are not honoring it.

The Jalapeño Crab Cheese Wontons were packed with flavor and came with the perfect sweet/spicy dipping sauce. The Pork Roti was unreal and officially a must-order for me moving forward. I kept taking bites trying to figure out what ingredient made it taste THAT good. Then the Khao Soi with fried chicken completely sealed the deal. Service was quick to take the order, refill water and clear out empty plates/steamer baskest. The dishes coming out of the kitchen was at a more erratic pace, but it's all about the food. Mapo tofu was good, with a light slick of chili oil. The flavors were spot on with little chunks of fermented salted broad beans. The heat was also moderate, but it did have a kick as you were eating it. That signature mala numbing spiciness started building, but not hot enough for my palate. Green beans were also nice and tender. Sometimes when they come out the fryer, the skin can be a little leathery, but wasn't present here. BBQ Buns were very soft and tender, loaded with BBQ pork. The shao mai had a nice bouncy texture and cooked well. Shrimp Lo Mein had the flavors of the Chinese American classic, it looks like the noodles were hand made too. Only miss was the shrimp dumplings. They were too close to each other and they stuck together. The wrapper was also overcooked, but somehow the shrimp was not. Nearly impossible to pickup with chopsticks, because the wrapped just fell apart, even with a delicate touch. Worth a stop and probably tastiest Chinese food in the neighborhood. It was getting crowded and there was a wait by the time we left. However it was Denver restaurant week, so not sure how it usually is during the week.

The vibe here is of a japanese izakaya, though not a super traditional one, with sake bombs and everything. That said, the food is definitely on the pricier side, though extremely delicious. My typical go to is on of the salad. Now salads typically are not standout at most restaurants, but the ones at Kawa Ni just hits different. Both the red cabbage and pear salad and the brocolli salad are delicious and the portion is massive, easily enough for a table of 4 to share. For apps and shareable entrees, you can't go wrong here. The build your own tuna temaki hand rolls can easily be shared and the tuna is so fresh and well seasoned. The szechuan dumplings are delicious, as is the curry onigiri and the bao bun. The Dan Dan noodle, kimchi Carbonara, and their tonkotsu ramen are also amazing, and, with the exception of the tonkotsu ramen, can easily be shared. I would highly recommend other seasonal dishes as well, such as the coconut swordfish or chicken katsu parm. However, one of my absolute favorite dish here is the ochazuke. It's basically grilled fish over rice in a warm green tea dashi. It's so comforting, especially on a cold night, and a dish that I return to time and time again. Cravings absolutely satisfied…read more We were in CO for the Rocky Mountain Siberian Husky Club specialty and I cannot go anywhere without having some sort of Asian food. That evening, I was craving pho. Pho 92 came recommended and I was immediately drawn to the clear broth in the photos while researching Yelp for Vietnamese food. It was a Thursday evening when we arrived at Pho 92, and the restaurant was packed. It was loud, with staff bustling about and patrons enjoying their meals. The aroma of the pho broth was just as I had hoped for a busy restaurant. We waited approximately 10 min for a table. The staff were pretty efficient and looked to have a good system going for bussing tables. Hailing from CA, I am no stranger to good pho, and this place hit the spot. I'm so glad I decided to get the regular instead of the large, because wow those portion sizes were indeed huge. My husband made the "mistake" of ordering the combination vermicelli bowl, and it came packed with tender proteins and crispy egg rolls. That just meant for some delicious leftovers (that actually reheated perfectly). The pho broth was as clear as I had imagined from looking at other patrons' photos. It still had a good depth of flavor, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It had been a long travel day for us, so I didn't want oily soup. (Sometimes I do enjoy rich, oilier pho broth, but not that night.) The pho came with a plethora of herbs, which I of course used all of. Be warned that their chili oil is very spicy, which I accidentally put too much of without first trying (oops). I generally don't go to the same spot twice during a trip, as I enjoy trying out different local businesses, but Pho 92 would have been a spot I'd return to again if we had had the time and if I had wanted pho again. Their menu is huge, so there are plenty of dishes to choose from to satisfy your cravings, whatever those might be for any given day. We will definitely be back the next time we visit CO!
