We came here expecting great food based on the reviews and were sorely disappointed. The Pho is simply not good. The meat tasted old, the broth was lacking and they barely give you the sides. The flavor of the wings was decent but the wings themselves were tiny and sad. The service was also bad. We were the only people there and barely got any attention. Absolutely would not return.

I was greeted early when I came in. I then asked if they had Banh Xeo there but she didn't know what that was which was weird. But oh well. I got the 3 fried egg rolls and the combo Banh Mi. The fried egg rolls were amazing! I recommend everyone get that. The Banh Mi was not tasty nor authentic at all. Was that mayo in there?? I was still so hungry after I went to another place and ordered an entree. I regret tipping 18% on my Togo ordered. Do note they do take a while to make your food. They had a lot of corny Pho sayings on the wall. Read some and just stopped after 2. One read "may the pho be with you.." like wtf. Doesn't even rhyme with Force. At least make it plural to kinda sound similar.

My friends and were craving pho near the beach and stumbled upon this place. It was definitely warm that day and there were not a lot of people inside. Service was fast though with the food. I ordered the eggrolls as an appetizer and then had their pho. The eggrolls were crunchy but would have liked a bit more flavor and portion for the price. As for the pho, there were good portions of meat, but the broth did not taste as flavorful and was bland.

This place is seriously a letdown not even close to the taste of Vietnamese food.. you're better off spending the money on gas going to Westminster to get good authentic Vietnamese food. Seriously overpriced!!! Not going there again Super salty Pho

I LOVE their shrimp spring rolls. It's $11.50 and little bit pricey in compare to other places but it's worth it. Shrimp spring rolls with Avocado yum yum yum!!!! Great combination! Fresh and tasty! The service always great here! The workers always welcoming. The ambiance is cute! Lots of writings and pictures all over the wall and make you busy while you are waiting...Try it and you'll love it! Wherever we go for eating pho this place is our stop for shrimp roll. It's hard to order from somewhere else when you try this location. Saigon Beach you are forever on my heart.

Pork Belly & Grilled Pork Bun Sliders, 420 Downtowner Special, and Nam Nam Wings

Overall: 3.6/5 (dine in) This is a small storefront that's street facing so it might be hard to find parking right in front. I was surprised when I got there because I thought it was a sit down restaurant but the set up is really for take out/delivery. They have bars & stools along the side of the walls but at max, the restaurant can only seat 8-10 people. Customer service is good here though. Pork Belly Bun Slider ($5.95): Better than the grilled pork slider but was just okay. Grilled Pork Bun Slider ($5.75): The grilled pork was very dry. For both sliders, they gave a lot of carrots which I liked but they were lacking all the Vietnamese flavors. The buns were soft though. 420 Downtowner Special ($10.25): We were both so disappointed when we tried this. The presentation was nice but the taste was mid. The green colored rice and the shredded chicken were bland. The pork on top was a bit less dry than the one in the bun and was the only thing with flavor. Nam Nam Wings (5 Wings For $7.95): The wings were the best item of the night. They were crispy and tasty.

I enjoy a good Vietnamese restaurant but when I stopped in I didn't get any food. It was a warm Spring day so I opted for one of their limeades. They have them in the bubbler so I chose the mango passionfruit one. It was delightful albeit a tad sweet. It's a good thing they pack with full with ice so it can mellow out. I took my drink and walked along the boardwalk taking in the ocean views and the cool breeze. Do yourself a favor and don't sleep on supporting a neighborhood Asian restaurant. Cheers!

Yum! Thst grilled pork vermicelli was excellent. Grilled just right with thst jusicy, tender pork on the vermicelli made just right . Not too soft or mushy. Nice and firm noodles. The vegetables in it were fresh and crispy too. Highly recommended!

The pork bahnmi :: forgive spelling:: was actually pretty great. I loved the smoky aroma within the pork and it had a lot of flavor. It was my favorite. I had quite a bit of bahnmi and they weren't as impressively as flavored as this one. I really liked how casual the atmosphere was, I got a kick out of the wall decoration with a play on words. The server was very flattered by my compliment. She did exactly what was needed. I was there around noon, 4/17/25 so i hope the manager knows who she is and did a good job. Again that was the best sandwich.

After a quick look at the menu, we knew this was someplace we would enjoy. We were in town on a Sunday evening and knew we wanted to check it out. With the two locations, we got on the Yelp waitlist knowing they were both nearby each other. (Our mistake was not getting on the waitlist earlier, so we did have a wait a good while.). We had perused other Yelper reviews and had a list in mind of what we wanted. Definitely take the time to look at the menu beforehand because it is long and extensive. Right off the bat, out of razor clams! Bummer. Nonetheless, we still got a bunch of things. * Grilled King Scallop with Fish Eggs $27 - Nicely cooked. 4/5 * Grilled Escargot with Garlic Butter & Peppercorn $16 - Yum! 5/5 * Mango Squid Salad $14 - This was noted in so many reviews, and it did not disappoint. We ended up getting a second order! 5/5 * Crabs & Shrimp Fried Rice $17 - I was not a fan. It was just fried rice, nothing special. It lacked seasoning and definitely needed the accompanying sauce. 3/5 * Deep Fried Smelt Fish $15 - Another winner! I haven't seen smelt fish this large before and it was so good, we got a second order. 5/5 * Coconut Swirly Escargot with Basil Leaves $14 - This came in a pot with such a delicious sauce. I would have loved some noodles or something to eat all that sauce up with. 5/5 * Spicy Seasoned Grilled Shrimp $17 - This shrimp were a good size and did not disappoint. 4/5 * Escargot with Tamarind $15 - Our least favorite of the escargots we ordered. It wasn't bad, just okay. 3/5 * Complimentary dessert - I have no idea what was in this che beyond coconut cream and rice, but it was pretty good. I probably would have ordered it. Service was okay. Because they are so busy, they definitely do try to rush you out. We were still eating and someone came and brought dessert to our table. Mind you, we were literally still putting food in our mouths and I looked at the waitress perplexed. We told her we were still eating and going to order more, so she took the dessert away. There's definitely this anxiousness about the staff to turn over the tables, which I get with the long lines. But I think they could have addressed it a bit differently by simply asking instead of assuming.

Four of us went to SUP Noodle Bar in Irvine on a Tuesday evening. We arrived at 6:00 p.m. and…read moremanaged to snag the last available table without a wait. Judging by how quickly the place filled up, coming much later would probably have been a different story. The Food Between the four of us, we ordered the Parmesan Fries, two variations of pho, the Filet Mignon Fried Rice, and the Cajun Garlic Noodles. The Parmesan Fries were a very generous portion, exceptionally crispy, beautifully seasoned, and--in terms of flavor--just about perfect. My only complaint was that they were noticeably oily. Other than that, I couldn't find much fault with them. The Filet Mignon Pho was a treat. The beef was exactly as promised: tender and flavorful. What surprised me was the distinct kiss of cinnamon in the broth. Personally, I would have preferred to suspect the cinnamon rather than clearly taste it, but that's entirely a matter of preference. My wife loved every bite. I also managed to steal a taste of the Filet Mignon Fried Rice. While I certainly didn't regret my own order, I immediately knew what I'll be having next time. The filet was wonderfully tender and juicy, and the rice had a beautifully rounded, savory flavor. A real winner. My Cajun Garlic Noodles were excellent. The sauce had just the right consistency--rich and creamy, yet still delicate enough that the garlic and seasoning weren't buried underneath it. It was certainly on the heavier side, but somehow managed not to leave me feeling weighed down afterward. Rich without becoming exhausting is not an easy balance to strike. The Atmosphere SUP has a modern, distinctly Asian noodle-bar feel. Hard surfaces, no carpeting, and very little acoustic dampening mean that, in polite restaurant language, the atmosphere is lively. In less polite restaurant language: it's loud. That didn't bother us, and it actually suited the casual, energetic atmosphere. But I probably wouldn't choose SUP for a quiet, intimate dinner--or for hearing a lengthy story in which every single word matters. The Service This was the standout. We were not the world's easiest table. Between four first-time customers, individual likes and dislikes, questions about the menu, and various dietary requirements, we gave our waiter plenty to work with. Chase was patient throughout. He explained things, repeated things when necessary, answered our questions, and helped guide each of us toward something that suited us. By the end of dinner, all four of us were convinced we'd ordered the right thing. I'm fairly difficult to impress when it comes to restaurant service, but Chase impressed me. This isn't fine dining, nor should it be judged as such. What stood out was something much simpler: at every opportunity, Chase did a little more than was required of him. He was attentive without hovering, knowledgeable without lecturing, and patient without ever making us feel that we were being difficult. That deserves recognition. The Bottom Line We thoroughly enjoyed the food, the service, and our evening at SUP Noodle Bar. The food was flavorful and well prepared, portions were generous, and the service--particularly from Chase--was exceptional. The only caveat I would mention is the noise level, and that certainly won't stop me from returning. In fact, I already know what I'm ordering next time: That Filet Mignon Fried Rice. --- And Then, Two Days Later... Well, that didn't take long. Two days after writing this review, I was back. My daughter ordered the Filet Mignon Fried Rice I'd been planning to have, so, in the interest of not ordering the same thing, I changed course and ordered the Pho Anthony Bourdain. An instant classic. Absolutely delicious--and now I have a new problem: too many great things to choose from. You won't hear me complain. That's a pretty good problem to have.

I was meeting my foodie friend there at 12:30. The parking lot has limited space, which made it an extra challenge to park. Thankfully I only had to circle the block once to come back and snag a spot. (Meanwhile, my friend got there before me and was already enjoying an appetizer). Orders are placed at the counter and they call your number once your food is ready. The dining room consists of mostly booth seating with one "communal" table, and counter seating with 5ish chairs. There are also a handful of tables set outside. I've really been enjoying banh mi and their Bulgogi beef sandwich sounded great. I also happen to have a thing for popcorn chicken, so I got an order of that to round out my lunch. Oh, and based on the rave reviews I've read about their peach & lychee green tea, I ordered one of those as well. Let me just say, lunch was very satisfying! The sandwich was generously filled the fresh ingredients and the meat to veggie ratio was perfect. I'm not sure what the green sauce was that they finished the sammie off with but it was SO tasty!! I requested the popcorn chicken with medium heat and it was just spicy enough to leave my tongue tingling slightly. My friend saved an egg roll for me and it was also really good. (The tea by the way was very refreshing.) Now, this was my first time here but I never saw anyone come out to check the dining room or wipe down the tables after the lunch rush. This was especially concerning to me because they had a guy doing work on the windows who put his feet/ shoes on the tables right under said windows. Ewww. But aside from the parking challenge and the table hygiene/cleanliness, our visit was quite enjoyable and the food was very good. We would definitely return, but we'll have to plan around the lunch rush!

From the moment it hit the table, I could smell how rich and flavorful the broth was. You can tell it wasn't rushed--it tasted like it had been simmering for hours. Every spoonful was comforting, packed with depth, and had the perfect balance of savory flavors. The beef was unbelievably tender, practically melting in my mouth, and the noodles had the perfect bite. This is the kind of meal that reminds you why pho is one of the best comfort foods out there. What really impressed me was the freshness of everything. The herbs were vibrant, the bean sprouts had a great crunch, the jalapeños added the perfect kick, and a squeeze of lime brought the entire bowl together. Every ingredient complemented the broth instead of overpowering it. I found myself slowing down just to enjoy every bite because it was that good. By the time I finished, I was honestly wishing there was another bowl waiting for me. The service and atmosphere made the experience even better. Everyone was welcoming, attentive, and made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. It's always a bonus when great food is matched by great hospitality. Pho Redbo has officially earned a spot on my list of favorite pho restaurants, and I already know I'll be back to try more of the menu. If you're searching for a pho spot that delivers on flavor, freshness, and overall experience, don't sleep on this place--you'll leave happy and already planning your next visit.

My Pho with Rare Steak had a flavorful broth, and the meat itself was tender. However, I felt there was a little too much ginger in the broth. The ginger flavor was quite strong and overpowered the traditional pho aroma and taste. It wasn't bad by any means, but I think the broth would be even better if the ginger were toned down. With a more balanced amount of ginger, it could be excellent. Also, the broth a bit sweet. One thing I really appreciated was that they served culantro with pho. That's definitely a plus for me, as not many pho restaurants offer culantro, and I think it adds a great touch to the dish. The staff was also friendly and attentive throughout our visit. Overall, I enjoyed the pho and would definitely be interested in trying their other dishes next time.

ALWAYS a great brunch spot!…read more Stopped by today for a mommy meet-up and had a blast catching-up with my gf over good food. I didn't wanna order anything too heavy, but I craving something savory, so I opt'd for the Xoi Man. I loved the combo of sticky rice, quail egg, pâté, pork roll, Chinese sausage, pork floss, and peanuts. It always just hits right and leaves you satisfied. I also ALWAYS have to order the coconut ube coffee. It's to die for! It's the perfect blend of Viet milk coffee with coconut cream, & ube cream. YUMS!!! My friend ordered the Rice Bowl w/ crispy pork belly. I've never personally tried this dish, but it looked deelish w/ the fried egg, pickled vegetables, mango, jasmine rice, and nước chấm (fish sauce). She paired her brunch with the calamansi white peach, which she said was refreshing. James, our server, was friendly & attentive. Nep is always consistent & satisfying. Definitely an RxFoodie recommendation if you're looking for a solid brunch hotspot!
