Visited them for lunch the other day, and was pretty happy to learn that they have a happy hour from 2-5pm (tues-fri only). This Vietnamese spot has a small parking lot, so you can easily find parking and grab a bite. The restaurant is pretty decently-sized, with ample seating inside and out. There's a sign out front that lets you know to order at the front. Once you order, they give you a number for your table, and they'll bring the food to you when it's ready. We got the crazy rich baos, lemongrass soup, and banh mi dip. The baos were actually so good, and they were part of the happy hour menu! Baos were filled with pickled veggies and grilled pork. The lemongrass noodle soup was also very delicious, and had a nice tangy and spicy kick to it. Prices here are pretty standard for modern Vietnamese places. Our total came out to around $45-50 for the three items. There are a few team members that were working, but everyone was really nice and friendly.

Fantastic filet minon pho bowl. I ordered through uber eats and it came hot, everything separated and ready to put in a bowl together to mix in and it was delicious. I look forward to a dining experience soon.

So good! The restaurant is located on PCH and has a modernized-traditional vibe. The service was extremely quick and friendly, I appreciated that our server helped us with recommendations on his favorite imported beer for us to try. The food was phenomenal, especially the coconut pandan waffle. It had an incredible crunch on the outside, as well as a chewy inside. This paired so perfectly with their side of whipped cream!

There is limited parking by the restaurant. (Own parking lot) You order at the counter and they bring you the food. They have indoor and outdoor seating. There is a clean restroom inside. We ordered banh mi, garlic noodles, wings and dirty fries. Everything was super tasty. They give you soda cans. They also have water with ice so you can easily serve yourself. I would return and taste the other food items.

Such a nice little authentic Vietnamese restaurant in Laguna right along PCH! It's so nice this restaurant has opened up because I can never find authentic, ethnic and affordable food in Laguna. It's now our favorite little lowkey spot! We came on a Friday summer evening and there was no crowd or lines, so we were able to order our food and find a seat right away. Extremely cost effective for Laguna beach, super convenient and homemade feeling, fresh and healthy and tasty Vietnamese food. The food is really comforting for me and I always feel good after eating here! Definitely recommend visiting !! Then go for a walk across the street to the beach for an epic sunset!!

Omg so freaking good!!! Went there for lunch today. I had the filet pho - asked for lemongrass broth. IT WAS SOOOO GOOD. My husband got the curry - he ate every last drop. We got the wings as an app - also delicious!! We'll definitely be back!

Actually really good food. I went solo, which is a rarity, and ordered a couple things that the cashier recommended. I got the Vietmanese Coffe/Thai tea combo, and it was really good. I also got the grilled pork bahn mi and the fried egg rolls. It was all good. The eggrolls were nice and crispy with a good tangy sauce and the bahn mi's grilled pork was really flavorful. Over all pretty nice/generic looking place that does the job. Definitely would make a good take out joint also.

The food was so fresh and it tasted amazing! Really nice patio next to the beach and comfortable seating. Friendly staff :)

When I was looking for a Vietnamese restaurant to meet up in Laguna beach, I came across this gem! It's a cozy, homey spot with a great atmosphere for dining. We ordered fried egg rolls, crispy wontons, a pork banh mi, a pork vermicelli bowl, pho (traditional soup), chicken curry, passionfruit mango limeade, and Thai iced tea. The food was absolutely delicious, I especially loved the appetizers! The server, who was the only one working that day, was like Wonder Woman! She was friendly, easy to talk to, and super nice. It was the perfect combination of good food, great service, and a lovely place to try.

They have a variety of pho soups, noodle dishes, curries, as well as the classic pad thai and pad see ew. They also have lots of clean, gluten free, low carb, or vegetarian options. One of our favorites are the edamame dumplings. Very unique and tasty. The Shaken Beef in garlic sauce was so good. The silver (glass) noodles were also yummy. If you like pad thai and seafood, this is a good option to get to switch things up. It's has a fish sauce flavor to it and comes with lots of crabmeat and shrimp. The House vermicelli is a great option as well and you can't go wrong with any of the curries or soups. Service is friendly and attentive. They were very accommodating for parties of 6+. Decor is clean and modern. It's lively inside and welcoming. Highly recommend!

It does need to be worked on. The restaurant is very nice and modern. Prices are extremely reasonable for the area and the flavors are exquisite. I'd personally recommend the nem spring rolls, caramelized fish clay pot, and egg rolls. The shaken beef had good flavor but was a little overcooked and was cut in too small of pieces in my opinion. Overall, a place I'd come back to. Tons of options to choose from!

I especially love dining there in the late afternoon, around 4-5pm, when the ambiance possesses a calm, sun-warmed ease, and unpressed by time. Their Pho and Grilled Pork Rice are my favorite dishes. I have seen many other delicious dishes being served, but I cannot bring myself to order anything else. The Grilled Pork would have been fantastic had it come with broken rice, but even as it is, the flavorful, juicy, and tender pork is more than enough to satisfy. I've moved far away and can no longer visit them twice a month, but I'll definitely seize any opportunity to taste that Grilled Pork again! I'm up in Seattle, Washington currently and haven't been able to find a decent (let alone good) Chinese restaurant in what seems like years. They all taste like they get the food frozen from the same supplier. What an incredible joy it was to order takeout from Mandarin King. First, the take out comes in the classic little white cardboard Chinese containers that you know and love (seriously, I hate the plastic trays with see-through tops that so many are using these days) and the food was so freaking good! The pork fried rice brought back happy memories from childhood- so much so that I called my father while enjoying dinner just to gloat. He loves Chinese food too, and we often bemoan the lack of good restaurants in my area. The Mongolian Beef was flavorful and the little white crispy noodles they put on top soaked up some of the sauce and were delicious. The pork wontons were awesome and the fried pot stickers were perfect. This joint certainly feels family owned and the staff were very friendly. I went back a second time before my House Sitting week was up- on my 2nd visit the restaurant was pretty busy so I guess the locals know its the place to go for good Chinese food. I know I'll be back when I'm in town.
